Bark Time is founded on the idea that all dogs deserve to be happy and healthy, regardless of how busy the people who love them are. We’re a team of animal-​loving people who are just a phone call away and ready to care for your dog when you can’t.

With multiple sitters and agency-​level service and organization, clients can rely on consistent, prompt pet care with a professional and personal touch. Every Bark Time sitter is thoroughly trained and experienced in handling all breeds and levels of fitness from the smallest Yorkie to the largest Great Dane.

Business Owner

As a child, Heidi would accompany her mother to the homes of her house sitting clients and help care for pets while their owners were away. It was those early days of helping her mother with pet sitting that helped Heidi discover her deep and genuine love for animals. Once she grew older, she began house sitting on her own from time to time, and loved it — especially caring for the pets. As time passed, it became clear that providing animal care was something she’d like to do professionally, so she set to work making it her regular job.

In the beginning, Heidi offered her professional dog care services as an independent contractor through online sites like Rover​.com and Dog​Va​cay​.com. Within a couple of years, she’d built a strong reputation for exceptional service and top-​quality care, and demand for her services continued to grow — beyond what she could handle alone. To serve all the pets and families eager to work with her, Heidi decided to launch Bark T
