Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt

Nosh and Nibble came here for a pre-​dinner snack and I filled a Frozen Yogurt Cup with Matcha, Lychee, and Açai flavours topped with chocolate chips, chocolate Smarties look-​alikes, and cookie dough (~$ 7). Super sweet and super filling, the cookie dough tasted like a good combination of chewiness and doughiness. The chocolate chips and Smarties look-​alikes didn’t taste much different than grocery store equivalents. On the frozen yogurt side of things, I’d say my favourite was the Açai flavour. Whether it was the berry-​ness or the consistency this flavour delivered on both fronts. The Lychee flavour was a bit overbearing so I’d recommend that for sour tasting lovers. The Matcha was a pretty disappointing selection as it was the wateriest of the three I had and the matcha flavour was only potent enough to leave a slight aftertaste. All in all some flavours were good, some were not so good, and it was a middle of the road froyo.

I love Tutti and things that taste Frutti, but…

TUTTI FRUTTI FROZEN YOGURT!
I’m a regular here and it’s not only because my niece, my college-​aged cousin, or very older sister loves this place! I’m a regular because I love a good Yogurt, or a dozen! The yogurt here is actually quite gorgeous, yes sadly, there’s some pretty ugly yogurt! Just like people! Yeah, I know… It’ll last 5.6 seconds or less, 3 large spoonfuls, or 19 tiny nibblets, but when it’s «that time» you do have enough time to take your IG pics, press post, and gobble everything in front of you! Yes, including the malt balls if you so choose!
I’ve been here at least a dozen or so times and have promised to bring my RL friends and yogurt aficionados here! That’s you… Shelley & Shal! I mean besides both having the eye for things that are fruity (sweetie), both adoring dogs & cats (cuties), both loving creamy yogurt covered w/​myriad of colors (technicolor)! Ahoy! Yup, that’s how I roll too! #love #toot
I’ve had every flavor possible under the skittles rainbow, and on several occasions went the Fruity route (mango, berries, pineapple, lychee, honeydew, acai, strawberries, etc.) and on several more occasions went the Non-​fruity route (chocolate/​chocolate, seasonal pumpkin, ube, coconut, sea-​salt caramel, cookies ‘n cream, vanilla bean, etc.), okay I do admit I’ve had everything, except the durian. I don’t want to be hurling my yo-​yogurt because of the reputation of fruit that smells like… well… sh… toot! Nasty.
I’ve always been warmly greeted by the young-​ish staff. I guess some expect ass-​kissing. Not I. I’m good with a «Oh, Hai» and just keeping the place clean. Toppings full & fresh! Get the exploding boba balls, ma! Here’s my $ 5! That’s what matters to me! The place is bright and would make any animé-​cosplay types jump up in cartoon-​ish joy! It’s small, but lively, and depending on the day, pretty decent music can be heard. I mean on one day I was listening to Bob Marley’s «Exodus» and the next week some obscure Japanese band playing «Kiss on my List». Go figure, Yo! The only drawback is that sometimes more than one yogurt flavor is sold out and it’s located 50-​steps from ugh Walmart. Overall it’s really a neat place for a quickie lick. Oh yes, I definitely recommend…
TUTTI FRUTTI FROZEN YOGURT!
Yes, a Yogurt date is in the glittery stars and aligned with the sugary planets — it’s just a matter of time and dime. No worries it’s on my dime. True Yogurt aficionados know what’s up and we read each other’s minds… I’ll have «that, that, that, and that, but not that… um, no and that, too!» I’ll toss in Lani J. into the mix since she’s here more than I am, but she can use her own dime next time. I mean she already beat me to the punch here. Meanie. Oh well, the mascots here are adorable though. That I do agree. Whatever they are…

I don’t really have a sweet tooth, but I do like fruity things. Make sense? Voilà! Tutti Frutti comes to the rescue! I’m writing this because it’s a no-​brainer that I’m in love with froyo! It also helps that some of my best Unilocalers love it too! I agree with Shal W. that this place reminds me of Y_​_​_​_​_​land!!! I also agree that the mascots are adorb here, but I’m still not sure what they are! Like mushrooms with smiley faces? Do you?
The frozen yogurt flavors rotate on the weekly and they have seasonal ones too! They typically have about a dozen flavors to choose from, but sadly on my last visit they were already out on pumpkin!!! Like in early November?! Recent flavors I have enjoyed include: acai berries, taro, and melon! All very, very good!!! I think the toppings are more plentiful than Menchie’s, and I like that it seems fresher too!
The staff is friendly and welcoming. Immediately offering samples if you want some, or just a pleasant «Hi». One girl is probably the ditziest of the lot, but hey, at least she’s friendly. Just funny when I asked what happened to the pumpkin flavor and her response was a blank stare and a «did we have that?» Umm like last week! Another funny thing… I wrote this way before Eric Robert did… Take that, Superman!!!

It’s like every frozen yogurt place, but what I really like about it is its prime location by Ala Moana Shopping Center and Walmart.

This is so refreshing for a cool frozen yogurt, especially in these hot humid weather. Clean and nice place by Walmart by ala Moana… There are several favors, watermelon, mango, green tea, etc. Nothing can beat healthy yogurt!

Last night we headed in here at 9pm after a nice dinner and walking around the mall, we all decided we would like a treat.
The gal that was working barely acknowledged us when we walked in. She has a friend sitting at the table across from the counter, just chatting away. We got a short «hello» before they went back to chatting. She didn’t help us or say anything else to us until we went to pay and only then did she tell her friend «shhhhhhh» to shut her up as we checked out, literally told us the price and that was it… No nice/​small talk, no smile… Then back to their conversation.
And to the friend of the employee, it isn’t wise to sneak friends into your house and yes, your parents will know…
Also, blaring that music isn’t appropriate, especially when you have customers. And yelling at the person in the back to come sweep so you can keep talking isn’t good nor is your friend trying to close the blinds an hour before you close. Not professional at all.
As for the froyo, it was just so so.
Definitely NOT going back.

The frozen yogurt has wonderful flavor. I loved the watermelon, honeydew, coconut, mango and original tutti fruitti. You have to add topping such as mochi and boba. It was good and refreshing on a warm day.

This is probably my favorite froyo place on the island. They get lots of flavours and lots of toppings. The people who work there are always friendly and it’s pretty clean as well. I think there’s only a few tables inside and more outside. It can get a bit pricey when you put too many toppings on. :) Love it!

No offense to the nice girl who served me, but tutti fruitti keeamoku, you don’t make your acai bowls right! I would give no stars if I had to! After a hectic morning of blood tests for anemia and no breakfast or lunch, I decided to go to Tuttis, and use my wonderful stamp card that I finshed. (I am a long time froyo fanatic and they’re customer) still being hungry, I looked at the menu.
I’ve been a frequent at blue hawaii in ala Moana for acai bowls, but decided to give tutti fruitti a try, hoping maybe I could change to eating there. Well I ordered a large, and looking at the window, I was very very excited.
Well, once I got it, I was sorta. Impressed. Sorta. It looked like they used two giant bananas. Half the entire bowl, was litterally banana. I could’ve just ate one or two at Walmart, for like $ 2. I paid $ 7.59. Wow. Okay no one wants to be dissapointed when they eat someplace right? that isn’t even the worst part.
It was half liquid. Melted. Not only that but right when I got it, and I stuck my spoon in, IT BARELY MADE HALF THE SPOON IN, and it touched the bottom. Wow. Large? More like small. I’d hate to order the small and get like a kids cup. That’s probably what they give you.
For a melted mini acai bowl, I was really dissapointed. Really. I love acai bowl, but I won’t be eating it there anymore. If the manager was there, I would’ve said something but, I just ate it and left.
I know what im talking about. Listen to tutti fruitti, I’ve made acai bowls and my old job for over two years. Do you even add ice to thicken it at all? It’s like you just added the pack, like an idiot and think that’s how it’s support to be served. Your supposed to mix it with banana and lots of ice in order to get a BOWL not a puddle!
I hope you take my advice, and improve on the recipie, or no one will come back for it. I can promise that

(Ps, it’s been a week now, and you still don’t have green tea froyo back in. Whatsup with that? I’ve been eating vanilla, just to make up for the other flavors I don’t like.)
I noticed probiotic isn’t bolded on the flavor labels, and you should carry a sugar free flavor. I’m speaking for me and many dieters trying not to eat close to an ice cream nutritional value. Thanks. Not to be rude, but I needed to say it. Improvements! I heard Walgreens is adding a froyo self station inside, and if you wanna keep up, you need to keep up with demand.

This was da worst acai bowl ever‼ it was more like soup without taste. There wasn’t any granola or honey.

I stopped by Tutti Fruity on my way to the Ala Moana shopping mall, hoping to snag a frosty and refreshing cup of taro bobba.
I went around dinnertime (which was close to empty) and chatted with the friendly cashier who also works as the bubble tea smoothie maker. She told me that all of the flavors use real fruit, so I went with the taro.
Tasty!
It was not to sweet with the perfect amount of ice. Price was somewhere between $ 5 – 6 for a large.
Would definitely go back for another bobba smoothie.

Death by chocolate +Taro= Heavenly bliss. Humming & swaying as I indulge! Can’t think of a better way to eat something sweet yet not so sinful. On this particular day I enjoyed the music overhead as it wasn’t blaring like some establishments where you can’t even think and enjoy your food. Also love the variety of toppings they offer as it is usually fresh & replenished on a regular. Also love the little water station they have off to the side to quench your thirst as well. I like the whole ambiance of this little yogurt spot & am grateful that I can stop by regularly since I work right up stairs.

I had a late-​night sweet-​tooth craving and wound up here. The location is convenient and accessible because it’s next to the Sam’s Club near Ala Moana but I found the outing to be a disappointment. Flavors tasted very sugary and ice-​e, otherwise pretty bland and not worth the money. Seemed more like a syrup-​y watered down version of what I was actually craving. Not worthwhile.

It’s frozen yogurt so there’s not much to say. It’s a small shop, about 16 flavors and all the basic toppings you would expect. Whenever I come it seems pretty empty so it’s easy to get in and get out. There’s outdoor tables and chairs so that’s nice (as well as indoor). You will probably hear a few homeless people cursing at no one in-​particular as you eat your yogurt outside, but on the bright side it’s good for people watching. ;)

Tutti frutti is another frozen yogurt store i really like. i like it because they have fruit flavor. not just chocolate or cheese cake or some type of nuts.
i really enjoy actual fruit flavor and tutti frutti has it most of the time.
When i went they even had acai flavor. i got acai, lychee and coconut flavor with almond topping. it can only get better if they had pineapple.
i would recommend come here if you like yogurt that’s mostly fat free.

I wouldn’t say I’m crazy over frozen yogurt, but when the weather is super humid I do find myself craving it from time to time. This is my first time ever going to Tutti Frutti! I had a bit of lychee and cheesecake. The lychee flavor didn’t taste fake or artificial. I didn’t care for the cheesecake flavor because it had an odd taste. All in all, it was okay.

It’s crazy how in the Bay, people are loving roti buns (sold at Honeyberry-​opening almost every where now) People buy by the dozen, calling in their orders for pick-​up
Here at Tutti Frutti it seems like I’m the only one buying what they call just plain and simple «buns»… pretty boring, huh? It also seems a bit boring that Tutti Frutti is practically empty whenever I come in. But back to the «buns»… baked or warmed to order it seems, they’re still just as fluffy, soft and tasty and so I’m still a fan!

I’ve been to this small shop a couple times now. I love that it’s in the row of shops along Keeaumoku next to Walmart… makes the parking easy (using Walmart’s parking garage). This is a small froyo place, much smaller than the typical Menchies, but it still has everything you need in a clean setting. There are a few tables inside where you can enjoy your treat or you can opt for the tables/​seats outside.
The only thing I don’t like are the mixture of tourists and bums that frequent the area. I guess it makes for good people watching. Cost: for a couple of froyos with a good amount of toppings: $ 10. Sorry I wasn’t paying attention to the cost/​weight.

I bought a coupon on groupon for $ 10 and got $ 20 worth of yogurt. So my friends and I finally went there for yogurt. For some reason, based on what the groupon rules say, we have to use at least $ 10 and we can use whatever we can’t use up for next time. But the manager strictly said you have to use it up now. We didn’t know how much yogurt we had to get to be worth $ 20. So we went back and forth weighing it. When we were about to add more boba into our yogurt to make it heavier the manager suddenly yelled out, «it’s enough.» So we all went to weigh that yogurt and it was only $ 18. We were pretty mad that we didn’t get $ 2 more of yogurt. I mean we didn’t mind paying extra if it went over $ 20. Service was just terrible!!! That is not how you do business and treat your customers.

Tried this place again because I had a hotdeal coupon. The damage wasn’t too bad since I paid only half price, but it’s still fairly expensive compared to the other froyos, so I’ll only return to this place if there’s a coupon. Located next to Walmart, the froyos were light tasting, and a little more flavor than the last time I ate there. It’s a convenient place to sit and relax while or after shopping the busy Ala Moana center and district since they close at 9:30pm. What makes this place unique from the other froyos is that they also serve warm buns which has a nice texture and taste.
Froyo — 4 stars — It’s a lighter taste than other froyo stores, refreshing and not too sour.
Buns — 5 stars — Tried a coffee bun, and even after the next day, it was very soft and tasty. Although it’s $ 1 for a bun, I’m going back to buy more.
Service — 3 stars — service was average. The girl was really nice. Place was clean. They also have a flat screen TV above the cashier that was playing Korean dramas for you korean drama addicts.
The list of Froyos that I like, starting from my most favorite to least that I wrote in my previous review still stands the same, except for the prices which are now a little higher.
