Pravina is absolutely THE BEST! I’d give 10 stars, if I could. I’ve lived in different places in the US. I tried threading in Washington DC area, in San Diego and in Honolulu, nobody matches her abilities. My skin is sensitive, I used to get rushes, pimples and bruises. On top of it, it used to be so painful that I could hardly stand still in the chair. Well, I have no idea how Pravina does, but –trust me– with her I have a completely painless experience, no rushes, nothing! She is amazing! Moreover, she is quick, courteous and she takes walk in. And she has a cool and quick mobile appointment system. Try her, you will be satisfied!

Just got my eyebrows threaded by Pravina & I love her! I’ve been going to her for over a year & she’s the best. Very friendly, quick & does a wonderful job! They’ve moved to a new location which is the building that Shokudo’s in next to Ala Moana. She’s on the 7^th floor in 808 Salon. I’d suggest making an appointment cause she’s usually very busy.

Went to get my brows threaded by Pravina. She is no longer at the location above Likelike Drive Inn so note the new location! It’s very convenient. I parked in Ala Moana shopping center 3^rd floor by Shirokiya and walked over to the building next door. Pravina was able to take my last min appt and as usual did a great job. It was quick and convenient and a job well done.

Got my brows down by Sonya. Went to her house and did this for the first time. It’s not as bad as waxing. Something different! Very easy and gentle hands! Easy to talk to and very friendly! Very authenticity of doing brows!

Soni was quick, precise and gentle. She asked me what I wanted and it turned out soooooo nice. If you plan stopping by make an appointment ! & ask for soni :)

I took my mom and sister to get there brows threaded today and it was my mom’s first time. She got it tinted as well and my mom ended up being very satisfied.

This gem is located above Like Like Drive Inn. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the inside is really nice and clean! The colors give off a really calming vibe and made me feel relaxed, along with the music that they had playing.
Anyway, as soon as my friend and I entered, we were greeted and asked to sign in. After we did we took a seat. This was on a Thursday around 1 something, and we didn’t have appointments, so we did have to wait quite a while (this was pretty much a spontaneous). There were 2 women ahead of us, and I think they took about 10 minutes or less each. We were gonna go next, but another woman who was getting her hair done wanted to get her face threaded while doing so, so that took about another 10 – 15 minutes (i mean it was her whole face). We didn’t really mind since we had time to kill, and we were understanding considering it was a walk in.
Then it was finally our time. There was only one woman at the time who did eyebrows, so we had to go one by one. My friend went first, and after 8 minutes she was done. I was in awe with how nice it looked! Then it was my turn. As soon as I got into the chair, I told Pravina (I think that was her name) that I wanted her to keep the thickness, and to leave the little bald spot and the front of my brow alone (done by someone else) so that it could grow out, and she listened to all of my requests. After I was done I was so pleased! My brows looked so full, almost like they were filed in! The shaping was nice, there wasn’t any irritation around my brows, and the cleanup was a lot better than when I usually get them waxed.
After that experience, I don’t think I wanna go anywhere else. I have been moved over from team Waxing to Team Threading, lol! Also, something that makes me want to keep coming here is that they occasionally have deals, and they have a stamp card which allows you to get your 10^th threading done for free! Ummm, yes!!! Definitely cannot wait to come back in November.

Worst threading experience ever! Pravina ruined my eyebrows. My eyebrows are thin and uneven now. I am really unhappy with the results. She kept talking to the girl standing by the cashier and walked back and forth. Most unprofessional brow threading service I’ve ever received! Never will I return to this establishment ever again.

I had a great experience with the ladies at Threading lounge. Thankfully it wasn’t busy at 2pm on a weekday. I was little apprehensive because I have heard that threading can be painful for some but I listened to my friend’s advice and held my eyelid taut and I had absolutely no problem. Will definitely be coming back and I highly recommend them :)

My first time here! I got my eyebrows threaded! I just wanted them cleaned but they came out beautiful! I would definitely recommend this place!

I’ve come here twice, hoping that the second experience wouldn’t be as horrible as the first. Unfortunately, both eyebrow threading experiences were painful and not well done. I always leave with small cuts around my eyelids. Perhaps the technique isn’t gentle enough. Also, other threading places I’ve been to pluck out the strays after the threading process, but this Threading Lounge left all these stubbly eyebrow bits there. Disappointed.

As a girl who can not for the life of me pluck my own brows properly, a monthly eyebrow ritual is much needed. I’ve been waxing my eyebrows for years now, but no more! EYEBROW THREADING!!!
My over zealous usage of exclamation points can physically describe my love for this place. My brows are clean, and best of all — not red. Everytime I get waxes, my skin would be irritated for 1 – 2 days.
Come here for gorgeous, clean brows.

I am super bummed that I am having to write this review. After being highly praised on Unilocal I was excited to try this place out. I admit that I can let my eyebrows go a bit. It was very easy to make an appointment I was able to secure one for the next day. It is right above Like Like Drive Inn and it’s fairly easy to find if you know where that is. I checked in and waited maybe 3 minutes when I was called over to the chair. The girl who did my eyebrows was very nice, which is not why I’m giving a bad review. The chair that you sit in moves around a good bit and if you have any kind unstable and if you get motion sickness, this may bother you. The threading hurt more than any other time that I have got it done. I could not wait until she was finally done. I just assumed it was because maybe I had gone too long. However my eyebrows continue to hurt several hours after getting it done. The swelling and redness did not go down until the next day. The picture that I attached are my eyebrows 24 hours later, and you can see how rough it was. I really wanted to like this place as it is very convenient but I think I’ll do my eyebrows a favor and keep searching a better place.

Pravina is very nice! Quick and very knowledgeable. I was nervous about my first threading experience, she took the time to explain and also let me watch the customers before my appointment. She reassured me that everything would be fine.
She also recommended different skin care lines for me, but thankfully I already use one of the ones that she recommended.
She explained that due to the type of skin care I was using and my hyper pigmentation of my skin that she was doing a different technique.
They are also offering a package special right now until ²⁄₁₅. I will definitely be going back to see her and will also bring my 2 teenage girls too.

Excellent place to do your eyebrows! If you don’t like waxing, go to this place. They are very accurate in shaping eyebrows. Very friendly staff that knows what they are doing.
The only thing is that it is pricy. In the mainland I paid 10 $ max for eyebrow threading. Even in NYC. I believe this place is expensive because they are the only salon on the island. It was $ 19 total for JUST eyebrows. but they are threading Gods!

The great reviews made me want to try this place. So I walked in. While it wasn’t horrible and I didn’t walk out looking like a joker, I wasn’t that impressed. I expected this place to be out of the world, but to be honest, the $ 8 threading that I get in LA blows this place away. The girl who did my brows and lips was nice. But, I’m not sure how good she is at threading. I walked out and while the little stray hairs were cleaned up nicely, my brows themselves felt like they had no shape. There was absolutely no shaping done, like no arch. Not much more to say about this place.

Angela is so sweet! Best brow experience I’ve ever had. I told her that I’ve been trying to grow my eyebrows out to achieve a thicker shape. She told be that she would clean them up and we could go from there. She explained to me what she was doing the whole time. Angela also left specific rows of hair that I need to grow out. Needless to say that I’ll be coming here monthly to clean up my brows while growing them out. Next time we’ll be shaping them more. So excited!
The threading itself wasn’t as sore as I thought it was going to be and it only took around 7 minutes. The irritation also goes away faster than if you were to wax.
So glad I found someone I could trust, I am never touching my own brows ever again! :)

I’ve finally found my threading place! I avoided getting my brows threaded in Hawaii for the longest time, preferring instead to wait until it was time to visit home in CA and have it done there. (Main reason? I’m a college student. For me, $ 18 is a lot to pay for threading, especially when I’m used to paying $ 10. Apparently she does student discount, but I only found out after the fact.) But she did an amazing job with my eyebrows and the experience was much more gentle than my brow salon in CA, so I don’t mind paying a little extra. Plus they have a frequent threader’s card. 10^th eyebrow service is free!
I went mid-​day on a weekday so I was seen within 5 minutes. I’m not sure how busy they get on the weekends though.

I’ve visited a majority of the threading lounges across town and I would say most of them do a good job but the huge con is that they are so pricey!
My co-​worker highly recommended Threading Lounge so I decided to check it out. Well I’m happy to say, I found my new threading place! Pravina was a sweetheart, I liked that she kept a conversation going but wasn’t too annoying or on the flip side — too boring.
She did a great job cleaning up my brows and my skin wasn’t irritated (like it sometimes gets at other places) when she was finished. The best part — my threading session cost less than $ 25!
You probably will miss it just walking down Keeaumoku but its right above Likelike Drive in, and although the store may not have the best outside appearance, its very clean inside.
I will definitely be back!

I’ve fallen in love with threading. It may take a little bit longer, but the recovery time is so much shorter! I don’t have to feel embarrassed to go out right after a session.
I love that this place allows for walk-​ins! My schedule can be hectic, and I really needed a place that I don’t always need an appointment for. I’ve seen a few different girls and all have done a good job. If I have the time I fill my eyebrows in the way I like them, and tell them to follow that as a guide. However, sometimes I’m not able to do that, but they still are able to achieve the look I’m looking for.
It’s $ 18 for just an eyebrow threading. They might try to up sale you to get the lip as well, which I do get sometimes, but that is more painful than eyebrows. Don’t forget to check in on your Unilocal app as they do offer discounts sometimes. They also offer other threading and waxing services, but I haven’t personally tried those yet.
This place is located above Like Like Drive Inn on Keeaumoku (across from Walmart). The front lot is often full, but there is more parking in the back.
Overall, I like this place. No appointments necessary, but preferred if you want a specific girl. Place is clean and affordable. I will be back in the future. If you haven’t tried threading you need to try this «eye opening» experience!
