Karla was absolutely amazing. a genuine professional, I felt at ease and confident as soon as I shook her hand. She looked at the photos I provided, and we chatted about them. This is the first time in a VERY long time when I have walked out of a place and it has been similar to said photo… AND that I’ve liked my hair. She did such a pretty job and was so conscientious of making sure it was even (a big deal to me), communicated with me, and was so kind and sweet and I’ll refer her often! I look forward to exploring things w/​my hair in terms of cut/​color/​style, etc. in the future… Highly recommend because she really knows what she is doing!

. Her listing was very helpful, complete with services and prices. I called, left a message and heard back from her within a couple hours. We talked for a bit and booked an appointment. I text messaged Karla my email address and she promptly sent an email appointment confirmation.
The appointment was booked and I started getting nervous. I replied with more questions about my hair. It had been almost 10 years since I colored my very-​black hair and I wanted to go for a full head of very light-​brown hair. I needed her expert opinion — will it match my skin tone, should I try a darker shade, etc. I sent pictures of my black hair and what I wanted it took look like. Again, she promptly responded with reassurance that we’d find the right look.
And that we did. Karla suggested a color weave (highlights) to ease into my new, lighter hairstyle. The process took about 3.5 hours but it didn’t seem that long. Karla is super sweet and we chit chatted the afternoon away. I’m confident saying she’s a hair expert because during my time with her, a couple other colorists popped in to ask her opinion — which colors to mix, would it look good, etc. I’m very happy with my new sun-​kissed hair color.
