Heard a lot about this place so we decided to try it for lunch(mainly because I know how crazy parking and the wait time can get during dinner and/or weekends). No wait time on a Saturday lunch. AYCE for $ 21.95 per person(2 person minimum). The quality of meats, selection, and side dishes are sub-par compared to LA’s Korean BBQ. But for Hawaii, this might be as decent as it gets. It comes with 5 side dishes(free refills) and white rice. Sauces are sesame oil with salt and Korean miso sauce. Recommend brisket(thinly sliced piece of meat). Seasoned short rib(kalbi) was good as well. Ribeye was the driest piece of meat ever — like eating cardboard. I didn’t even bother to eat it after the first bite. Parking was free with validation in lot of Samsung plaza. Service was great. Don’t be shy about raising your hand to get the attention of the waiters.

Ate here once… so far and wait staff is very helpful kind. Now let’s talk food for a bit over $ 20 per adult you can have as much Yakiniku meat that you can eat at the table no doggie bags no take home. Sign in the board if there is no seating. Enjoy the yummy food coma you will be in afterwards

Normally I can’t stand being around people. Being in Sikdorak is akin to being like a sardine in a tiny can, but I can sacrifice my personal space for endless meat for $ 22. My night can be going horribly and I can be angry(angry, not hangry) but if you tell me that we’re going to Sikdorak, it’ll shut me up and put a smile on my face. I’m the pork belly queen and Sikdorak has the best belly(to me, anyway!). I’ve tried tongue once before and could barely keep it in my mouth long enough to chew and swallow, but when I tried the tongue here, I welcomed my friend cooking and throwing them in my bowl. Since it does get extremely busy, one cannot expect the speediest service. In our 90-minute stay our waters were refilled maybe twice, but they were diligent in changing our grill(but maybe due to the fact that we were the only table whose grill kept bursting into flames). The wait is usually about 45 minutes for dinner but while you’re waiting, you can refine your strategy for eating the most meat possible without bursting out of your pants.

all you can eat for $ 22(plus tip). you cook the food yourself. the food is amazing for that price! beef brisket is my favorite, also recommend pork belly. even the beef tongue is good if you are up for it! i love the unlimited sides, don’t be afraid to ask for more because they don’t always offer them upfront. and if they don’t bring out a side you want, ask if they have it(especially the doenjang! it’s a must have for me but i always have to ask). i can’t decide if i like the meat or the sides more! service is really good and fast but they are super busy so don’t wait for them to come to you all the time. BYOB — Walgreens next door with huge alcohol selection! they also have an a la carte menu but i have only done the all you can eat option… just too good to pass up. i used to be able to bring vegetarian friends here and they could order a la carte and not pay the all you can eat price, but last time i was here they didn’t let us do that… not sure if they changed the policy. usually a wait at night or on weekends(i’ve had to wait an hour or more sometimes) but they do move it along faster than you expect. i’ve come here with large groups too, 6 – 10 people and we get seated within an hour or so. your whole party has to be there before you can be seated, no reservations. open 24 hours. parking lot usually has 1 or 2 spots open but is small, costs about $ 3 to park. or you can park across the street at walmart for free. one of my favorite places to eat and definitely my favorite korean bbq place. for the price, you can’t get any better, every other place i have been is way more expensive. ambience isn’t much, it’s a hole in the wall with no frills but that’s part of the fun!

Love this place and the Korean momma. Word of advice though, come early for dinner. The wait is about an hour long! But worth it to me. Go on a totally empty stomach because you wanna get your money’s worth. Definitely try the tongue.

I’ve only been to this place once and once is all I needed. For starters, coming from a Korean person like myself, this place was okay in taste. I’ve had better KBBQ and a lot of people recommended Yakiniku which I will try next time. But it wasn’t mostly the food that gave me a bad taste. It was the service. In the restaurant there is a bell you press to get the waiters to your table. My friend pressed it 5x. They just ignored us. You literally have to tell them out loud that you want to order more. And there’s this one waiter there that was just gave service. He never smiles and looks annoyed whenever we ordered our food. And at the end when we were paying, he said something like, «No tip included.» At first I immediately thought he meant not to include the tip, which I thought was nice and humble. But he said«no tip included» a second time. So i was confused. It wasn’t until my friend threw down 50 cents for the tip that I finally understood what the waiter meant. He meant there was no tip included with our bill, but he still expected(more like demanded) a tip. I was thinking how dare you demand us a tip when you gave us shity service? Feeling bad, and because I’m too nice, I put down $ 3 along with another friend of mine. If you want to avoid him, he’s Korean, a little tall, young looking, and skinny. You’ll understand what I mean when you get him as your waiter. And I’m so sorry if you do. Peace out.

This spot has a wait. Even the parking lot fills up fast. I’ve been told the service lacks. You may have to ask for your items more than once. This is a small location, with all the burners going off it gets a bit smoky in here. All you can eat gets the job done. The sides are satisfactory. If you don’t mind waiting, and not so friendly customer service… It’s not too bad.

The 1st time me and my gf tried this place was Friday new years day 2016 around 8pm ish. And Oh and let me tell u the wait for a table was very bad. A little over an hour wait for 4 people and service was pretty non existence only asked to refill anything after about almost all our meat was cooked.(Obtw, we had ppl who been here b4 with us in case your wondering) pressing the service button no luck since we had the table to the wall with another party like inches away next to us and behind us but gotta understand its a small cramped space and very busy but even after all of that headache the food was good enough to give this place a second chance… Soo 2nd time here came on a Monday about nearly 5pm and the place was almost dead. Had just one party at a table. and all i have to say is 2nd times the charm everything was great, service was on point and polite. Ps parking sucks pretty tight just like their tables n chairs…:] Best to go on the down days like week days. And get your parking ticket validated if you do have a ticket. Come hungry!!!

This place is worth it. $ 22 all u can Korean food is F N Badass! Although I wished I would have known how much food the waitress brought us on the 1st order. She brought sooooooo much beef tongue. So we didn’t get to try each meat due to being full. Maybe if you ask for a specific amount you can try all, or be a fat pig & feed your face anyway. Pork belly is always good, marinated short rib, and rib eye beef all well worth it. Also we were early which is always good when you don’t have to wait. This place isn’t very big, parking is tight, and it’s popular so it gets pretty busy. Looking forward to going here again. I wouldn’t recommend this place to kids that don’t eat their $‘s worth. You’re better off just getting a $ 10 plate lunch elsewhere(12 and under is $ 19). They also have a bunch of soups as an option instead of yakiniku.

Mediocre AYCE Korean BBQ place. Maybe I’ve been spoiled while being in LA for a bit, but this place really missed the mark besides their lower-end prices. Seating is tricky– not a lot of tables and they are very tight without much leg room. I felt like I knew our table neighbors my whole life since I got to «enjoy» their conversation and we joked about getting our chairs whacked by the waitress(while passing behind us) whenever she tried to bring refills of the sides or meats. Meat quality and selection were not very good either. They weren’t bad though. The seasoned pork and beef were definitely the best though. The stove is very old school and doesn’t cook very well– spent a long time on brisket, which is usually fast. I also do wish they had the rice paper though for their sides. Overall not impressed and probably won’t come back unless really craving AYCE Korean BBQ(especially since not many are here).

Go to yakiniku place late at night. Way better when it was just $ 20/person, but I guess it’s getting popular so it’s understandable. Now, it’s about $ 22-$ 23. Great amount of meat considering for all you can eat. Vegetables change here and there, but they’re really good. The black sauce is awesome! I eat it with the brisket, tongue and pork belly. Seasoned short ribs are my boyfriend’s favorite since it’s filled with flavor. WARNING: If you go around between 7 – 9 and around midnight, that’s when it’s the most crowded. Almost an hour wait at times. I mean you will have to wait no matter what, since it is a small place. Other than that, it’s totally worth it!

I love me AYCEKBBQ. When I asked my family(who are from here) where to get KBBQ I was told«Sikdorak.» I’m from Southern California where there are many AYCEKBBQ options– k-town, Gardena, Cerritos, Kearny Mesa. Came here for my husbands birthday-dinner with a friend. Waited just under an hour with 3 names ahead of ours. Service was OK. Even though I like the concept of the service-button, I always feel guilty pressing it. So I just waited to hail down someone– which proved difficult as I had to ask different people for different things. They ask if you need anything else but are super quick to leave after you tell them 2 things. Meat was good. I’m a brisket person, so it’s what I ate the most of. I just wish this place had rice paper. So I filled up on rice & salad. Overall I enjoyed the meal. I would return, but maybe not at night. I would recommend for max group of 4 as to not overcrowd a grill. This place is average, I’ve had better and worse. For $ 20 I would like to see more meat options.

It’s a buffet of meat!!! Keep eating until you’re stuff. It’s not the best quality of meat but for twenty something dollars what does one expect? I’m usually ordering meat that’s marinated, the plain meat are too bland for me. Decent size parking lot but parking can be tough. Wait time is usually 30 – 40 on crowded night.

This is an all you can eat place, BBQ your own protein. Meat selection was good. Try the beef tongue, sliced super thin, tender and cooks quickly, texture like chewy bologna. The fixings were less desirable and we had to constantly ask for refills. We were dining with friends we haven’t seen in over a year so we were enjoying conversation and our BYOB wine. After an hour and half, the waiter came to our table and told us we had to leave! The nerve! If there was a time limit, we should have been told before we sat down! Will probably not done here again.

I kind of don’t understand the hype about this place. It’s great if you can actually eat $ 20 worth of food for yourself… but if you can’t, it isn’t worth it and that was the case for me. The thing is, you need to understand food resale prices to understand the value that you’re getting. If you don’t, then you won’t even know how much you’re actually getting for what you pay. I think most people over hype the fact that you can cook your own food, but I don’t think that’s enough to rate it 5 stars. If you’ve eaten at enough korean, shabu shabu, and hot pot places, you’ll get an idea of how much meat and other things cost at resale at these kinds of places. I ate until I was stuffed FULL and according to the plate count and the amount of meat in ounces split between myself and my friend, the both of us together only ate $ 20 worth. This, my friends, is how they make money. Other than the value, everything else was alright. Customer service was fine(but my water didn’t get refilled as often as I’d like). Lastly, the tables were far too close together for comfort, and I’m talking about row-to-row. There was a VERY rude Filipino boy sitting in the row behind ours who REFUSED to move his chair inward toward his table when I had to get up to go to the bathroom. I said«excuse me» a few times and when he wouldn’t move, I just squished my ass up against his seat(not sure if it hit his head, but oh well). And yes, there was space for him to move in – at least a foot between his chest and the table. I would’ve preferred if there was enough space in the aisle that I could’ve just walked through without having to ask someone to move in.

Certainly not the best place to come for yakiniku. Expect to wait if you go in during normal dinner time hours or even late night. The meat quality is pretty low-grade here, but if you’re indiscriminate and just want some relatively inexpensive all you can eat protein definitely consider stopping by. Service here is pretty shotty even if you speak Korean; that’s something you just have to suck up and deal with. I have discovered, though, that you can get some secret menu side dishes that they keep in the back if you ask kindly enough. My friends and I often get cursed with the dreaded brisket bomb – the 4 pound plate of frozen brisket they bring you even though you swear you ordered«only a little». That’s Sikdorak for you. Just order extra garlic, cover everything in the sesame oil and salt, and scarf all that meat down.

Came here after work with Co-workers. Brought our own drinks as this place is BYOB. They offered a bucket with ice to keep our drinks cool. This was a good touch and thoughtful solution. The meats could be a little better seasoned for more flavor, but nonetheless, they were fresh. I liked the bulgolgi and the spicy pork the best. We heard that it can take a while to get a seat here as it’s really small, but we came around 6:45PM and didn’t have any problem getting seating for 10 people.

My fiancé and I come here when we feel like eating Korean BBQ and we want MEAT! Although we love it here, I’m giving this place four stars just because they do get busy and even if they do try, the staff sometimes aren’t the friendliest. It gets crowded also because it’s gotten popular so space is limited. But the food is good. This place is a 24-hour ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT buffet where you cook your on food. They give you vegetables; bean sprouts, choi sum, kimchee, daikon, etc. and they’re all pretty alright. You then choose and tell them what kinds of meat you want; rib-eye, pork belly, brisket, beef tongue, etc. We usually get the rib-eye, brisket, and pork belly, on occasion the short ribs, and if we’re feeling adventurous that day, the beef tongue(which isn’t as bad as it sounds). They taste good… Especially if they’re dipped in the two types of sauces they give. One is, I believe, oil with salt and pepper and the other seems like a sweet shoyu based sauce. The price isn’t bad per person, which is roughly $ 22 for adults and $ 19 for children ages 12 and under. It’s a good place to eat if you’re craving only meat.

AYCE and BYOB = 2 acronyms which ring music to my ears… All You can Eat and Bring Your Own Bottle(booze). Not to many 24 hour restaurants in town; Sikdorak is one of them. $ 21.95 buys you ayce seat and is limited to a 90 minute seating. In addition to the regular banchan and rice, they have a few other side meals; like cold noodles and tofu stew amongst others. It’s actually a very good, clear menu with a decent price. They have 12 choices of meats: short ribs(boneless), ribeye, tongue, brisket, pork, chicken and yes, they have a few cuts already seasoned in their special sauces. I’d go during an off hour or you may end up waiting for a table. Parking in the Sam Sung Plaza is available and it’s a dollar with validation. But John F is correct in that you’ll leave smelling like yakiniku… But I can live with that for a satisfied tummy and a happy pocket book.
