Best massage I’ve ever received! Came across this place by accident when I was eating at a restaurant across the street. Walked in and they were able to do a couples massage on the spot. First time I had Amy, and I swear she has the hands of a goddess. Can’t go wrong with Tammy or Nina though. They’re all great and you’re going to walk out a happy customer.
I had a Thai/​deep tissue massage. First timers get a rate of $ 60 and then $ 70 each time after. I’m now a membership holder which is the way to go! Comes out to about $ 50 each time and I go every week or two.
Great customer service! They offer tea or water while you wait and they have a shower in the back if you want to shower. They also have massage tables that heat up!
After I went to this place for the first time I checked out their reviews. Couldn’t understand why people spoke so poorly about this place. I’m now a frequent customer and am confident that those reviews were just written during a different, i.e. Different management and masseuses. Check this place out, you won’t be disappointed!

I cannot say enough great things about this hidden gem! This massage establishment is conveniently located in a strip mall type of lot. There are so many awesome and great places to eat right next door but that’ll be a different review. Parking is convenient and I have never had an issue being able to find a spot as there is a rather large lot and they do validate for free parking!
I’ve been here a few times with my boyfriend. We get couples massages with Tammy and Amy. These women know exactly what they are doing and their technique is impressive and most importantly I feel incredible for days. I personally always ask for Tammy. I’ve gotten another masseuse before but Tammy is a keeper. She has given me the best massages I’ve ever had in my life so I will be devastated when I have to move away. Lol She is very friendly, asks plenty of times if you prefer more/​less pressure, engages with you during the massage to ensure you are comfortable and always asks about trouble spots which she always dedicates lots of attention to.
Hot tea is provided at the beginning and end of your massage and that’s a bonus to the already great service and very reasonable price of 60/​Hr. They will gladly stay open later than 9, I believe the first time we came in we strolled in at 10 and walked out at 1115. They only had one masseuse in but they happily called one in to take care of both of us. That is great customer service and bending over backwards for clientele. It has obviously paid off because I come every two weeks.
I was floored when I originally saw the not so great reviews but I’m confident that this was due to poor management in the past. This establishment is clean, professional, has heated bed toppers (if you’re constantly cold like me this is a huge bonus) and coupled with the already mentioned fantastic environment makes this a real treat every time I come. If you come, you will not be disappointed!
Btw they don’t offer «happy endings» so if you’re looking for that don’t bother coming here, however if you’re looking to be pampered and relax this is the place to give you an above the waist happy ending.

First time. It was very clean and nice inside. I was offered hot tea. Customer service was impressive.
Tammy really knew what she was doing and took her time working knots out of my back. She is very talented!

Been going here for 3 years now. Monthly membership is the way to go. Nina is the owner and is by far the best. If she’s not available the others are good too. Amy is my go to for a deep tissue/​Thai combo massage.
Ask for Nina’s new «tap tap» technique from India. It’s a method developed over 2,600 years ago. I tell you I’ve had lower back issues and neck issues and after she did this method it was the best I’ve ever felt! Don’t knock it until you try it.
They validate parking and making an appointment is easy. Getting a gift certificate is easy and is a great idea for a loved one or friend. Out of all the massage places we’ve been to (including the expensive fancy spas) my wife and I always compare them to Thai Banyan and we always feel Nina’s place is the best.

The best Thai massage in the world, I’ve had massages all around the world including Thailand. this is place has the healing touch. It’s more than a massage, the owner and the therapist, care for your well being. I have been going there, every time I’m in pain. I leave the place cared for. Last month i was in a lot of pain, i went there, and they worked on me, i felt like a new person. I highly recommend this place, check it out. you won’t stop talking about it.

Do yourself a favor and request SUSAN when coming for a massage. She is professional and welcoming, and my session with her was exactly what I needed. She is very communicative (which I appreciate) and is also able to connect with your energy and breath. If you care about your body and the quality of your massage, you must see Susan. It is very difficult finding a great massage therapist and I’m so glad I found her at Thai Banyan! I wish she lived in nyc and I would make an appointment with her every week! Whenever I visit family and come back to Honolulu, I will see Susan! And you should too!!!

Worst massage ever. The lady who gave me a massage doesn’t know how to massage properly. The price was supposed to be 60 dollar, so I paid 80, but she didn’t even try to get me change.

Easily one of the best. All the staff are helpful and the bodywork is spot on every time. Highly recommend.

My boyfriend made an appointment one day in advance for a couples massage. We had been looking forward to splashing out on this after a long work week. One hour before our appointment, we were asked to come earlier because their «boss» needed the room. We did our best to get there earlier and annoyingly, they called again while we were en-​route to ask if we were coming. When we got there the place was a complete mess: construction materials everywhere, dusty and extremely messy. The room we were brought to was basically the size of a closet, with the paint peeling off the walls and after repeatedly harassing us to come early, they started our massage 5 minutes later than our scheduled time! I have had many massages in my life and travelled to Thailand often. As for the massage itself, it was extremely rough and unskilled. There was no rhyme or reason to how she massaged me. It was clear that she was untrained. The phone rang LOUDLY in the middle of the massage and kept beeping as text messages came through. My masseuse kept coughing on me (probably due to the construction dust!) and she even dropped the oil bottle on my head at one point. At the end of it all, when we were paying they charged our card for the wrong amount. Instead of canceling and starting a new transaction, a confusing 20-​minute discussion ensued about how she was going to adjust the price later. Dodgy. This experience was the antithesis of relaxation, professionalism and customer service.

Nina was great! If you are looking for a deep tissue massage, she is the best! I walked in with a numb foot, and came out with feeling again. Highly recommended, and a very friendly staff. Thank you Nina!

Alright. So I got my best massage that I ever got in my life from very professional therapist that her name was Suzan, she is amazing firs as a person. And after that as a professional therapist. She didn’t let me go before I finished to get the energy from the herbal tea tha she make me to complete the treatment .
She did every move from her mind and her heart. I am definitely wanna come back to another one. The price was fair and you get the best for it.
I recommend for you guys go for Suzan she is gorgeous!

Will definitely be back. My husband and I got the Thai couples massage and it was amazing. It hurts a little, but the pain is what loosens your muscles. You can tell them to go lighter. They also will walk on your back if u ask. Love this place!

First and foremost the massage therapists at this establishment are masters of their craft. I usually come in with a specific area that needs work and never leave dissatisfied. The interior is beautiful and the atmosphere is disarming and puts you into a relaxing mood. The separate rooms offer privacy and elevates the relaxing mood. I have come here multiple times and have received nothing short of excellent service. If you want an authentic Thai massage, Thai Banyan is where to go!

My massage routine consists of a fifteen minute massage from my employer once a year. Yup, I can’t say I’m a connoisseur of massages. However, I have been to Thailand and had my share of Thai massages.
I like how Thai Banyan had local masseuses. I signed up for a 60 minute Thai massage and 30 minute foot massage. They led me into a room without any instructions and left the room. I didn’t know I was suppose to take it all off and get under the sheet. ALL. OFF. Sure is different than practices in Thailand, where they dress you in traditional Thai massage clothing.
I have to also say I’m a bit of a wuss when it comes to a massage. My masseuse was tiny but boy was she strong! I’m sure she could have taken me down without even trying. She was pretty intense, I think she found all 206 of my bones with her elbow. Check that, 200… she didn’t search for the three bones in each of my ears. JK. This place is great for those who love intense massages.

Worst massage ever.
Seriously? $ 65 is a rip off.
I wouldn’t even pay $ 30 for that massage.

WHAT A RIP-​OFF!!!
Don’t waste your time with this massage establishment. The staff is very unfriendly. NINA, who is the owner and also does massages, is the most RUDE AND unfriendly of them all. I waited over one hour for my massage and then was told that they couldn’t take me. No apology, no nothing. Such terrible public relations. She talk in some walk-​in haoles before me even though I had been waiting for an hour. Her husband answers the phone sometimes at night, makes it a point to say that he is the owner and what do you want. Very unfrinedly and accusatory… acts like he’s with the FBI with the kinds of questions he asks about why you are calling.
Too bad, NINA used to be a nice girl but now SHE IS A COLD FISH AND ALL BUSINESS AND IS VERY UNFRIENDLY.

Used to go to the Thai massage establishment for years but Its owner is too much. Booked a reservation and though I arrived on time the masseuse was working on a walk in so they could do me for only 30 minutes vs. 60 minutes. However, Jennifer wanted to still charge for an hour even though it was their admitted error.
Well after that day, I’ve been going to Thai Banyan across the street. Not only is it a better deal and cleaner, but they have several great masseuse (Lisa, Mary or Nina).

Just found this awesome Thai Massage. I’ve already been here a few times for the limited time I’m on the island. The first time I walked in, it was like I was entering a upscale spa at a 5 star resort. It was relaxing & beautiful. The massage tables were comfortable and had soft sheets. I’ve gotten massage on poor tables before and that just ruins your experience. The staff was friendly and offered me water as soon as I walked in and after the massage. I chose to get deep tissue Thai massage both times and was impressed on how well each girl’s technique was. Dont remeber their names since their english wasn’t good. Next time I come to the island this will be my go to massage place.

Been here once before and had a very good couples massage by two younger ladies so my boyfriend and I decided to return and we just had massages from hell by the two ladies working today ⁵⁄₂₅.
I don’t ever post bad Unilocal but our experience was beyond horrific. Was looking forward to a relaxing Sunday and had high hopes since we really enjoyed our first experience. I’m guessing it’s a hit or miss here, today was a TOTAL miss. Wish we got the names of the first two ladies we had the first time but sadly we won’t be returning in the future.
I’m sure most people would have walked out if they were us…
Just a some of the many things that bothered me today,
— made phone RSVPs for a couples massage and upon arrival the lady tells us she has to put us in different rooms
— she suggested no oils… I had to ask to please use an oil cause I don’t understand how she would do her massage with out?
— Massage was sooo HORRIFIC, I have no words to explain…
— She kept apologizing and talking throughout the whole massage, she also left for a few minutes to answer the phone or open the door I’m guessing cause I could hear everything…
— I had to ask for a glass of water at the end, went in for a sip and it smelt like a moldy towel :(literally gagged
— Paid with card, they couldn’t calculate the tax properly so I had to do it myself… I have no idea why that happened.
Getting out I was hoping my bf atleast had a decent massage but when I seen him he had the most uncomfortable expression on his face and I could tell he wanted to leave asap… he later told me he almost walked out.
If you don’t already go here and have someone you go to specifically my suggestion is to seriously take your money else where and STAY AWAY
