As a caffeine junky, I need my fix when I need my fix. Having to wait in line for my espresso-laced drug of choice? Not so fun… which is why I love this Seattle’s Best location. I don’t know if it’s because I’ve just been lucky with my timing but I’ve never had to wait in line here. This is refreshing when I’m used to the line being 3 people deep at other coffee joints. I also love the little extras that Seattle’s Best throws in. During Christmas time, their gingerbread lattes are topped with– hold on to your seats, friends– a little gingerbread cookie. Yes, you heard right. Not cookie crumbs halfheartedly sprinkled on top that float to the bottom only to become coffee-logged nuggets of mush. I’m talking an adorable gingerbread man smiling up at you from your whipped cream. The other day I ordered my usual caramel mocha & imagine my surprise when it came topped by a stick of dark chocolate. I told myself to make a mental note of the time & day of the week(early Wednesday morning) because no other barista has ever made this sweet, little addition to my drink order. If you’re in need of a caffeine jolt, this place is definitely worth a visit. Try not to come here too often, though. I’d like to continue my non-waiting-in-line streak for as long as possible.

Came here right after having a very large burger next door. We needed some caffiene to wake us up so we both ordered iced coffees. Yes, not very fancy but the girl that made it was helpful and very quick. I like the taste of Seattle’s Best versus Starbucks. Its a nice change of pace especially since we always go to Starbucks and Coffee Bean.

After a terrible experience at Starbucks, I decided to start giving Seattle’s Best Coffee at the suggestion of a friend. I was exceptionally pleased by the service, as I was greeted promptly and the barista was very helpful. I ordered a simple iced coffee and a rockslide brownie. After ringing me up she asked me which brownie I wanted; so, I repeated my order. Haha! Imagine my(pleasant) surprise when she explained that she was offering to let me pick which exact brownie I wanted. I was tickled and felt like a kid picking out his prize! Of course, I picked the one that looked the biggest and studded with the most caramel and pecans! The brownie was deliciously gooey awesomeness! I’ll definitely be going back for more. The coffee was good; however, I prefer a darker more robust roast. I’m not sure if they use a standard brew for their iced coffee or if it changes from day to day. I’ll need to double check the next time I go, which will definitely be soon. I only have 2 minuscule issues with this place. First, I wish they had a customer loyalty program. As a Starbucks Gold level member, for every 15 drinks I order, I get one free. I believe Seattle’s Best Coffee in Border’s has a deal where after 5 you get one free but that’s a deal through Border’s. If you’re looking for for an alternative to Starbucks, I’d say this place is worth a try. The pastries are great and the service is wonderful. Oh! The prices are a little cheaper too! A large iced coffee is about fifty cents cheaper than a venti from Starbucks!

Thanks to Stacy the barista, my day was totally jumpstarted in a good way! She was super friendly, meticulous, and so stoked on her work, it was impossible not to get the happy vibes from her! Seattle’s Best coffee is my mom’s favorite, so she was incredibly excited! I don’t drink coffee often, but I really enjoyed the coffee with vanilla syrup. It was tasty but not overly sweet. Yum yum!

I definitely enjoy Seattle’s Best Coffee more than Charbucks(outside of Seattle, anyway). We stopped off here after loving lunch at Tenkaippin. There was no parking in that tiny lot! In fact, wifey got out to go in the store and order a coffee. Meanwhile, I was wandering around the lot and found a spot on the other side of the street entrance to Kapahulu – not safe. It seemed that the barista was very helpful. Wifey ordered the daily house brew, but apparently was told that it was a dark and strong-flavored roast. So she added a bit of hot water to it. She left room for cream and we added that along with Splenda. It was delicious. The place is really clean, but near nothing as far as space inside for seating. The lot is tiny. So the coffee and service are good, but it seems like almost too much trouble to park there.

My husband and I just stopped for coffee at this Seattle’s Best location and loved it. As a regular of Starbucks and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, I’d never been to a Seattle’s Best before. When we walked in, the woman behind the counter was very friendly and knowledgeable. I told her what sort of drink I was looking for and she suggested the Blended Chocolate Coffee(cold). My husband ordered the Classic Mocha(hot). I found the prices comparable to Starbucks and other coffee shops. The seating is pretty limited. There is a bar on the side, with more seating outside under umbrella covered tables. Since it was windy, we decided to get our coffee and enjoy it inside. There was no lounge area like you might find at most Starbucks, but it still felt comfortable and cozy. My Blended Chocolate Coffee was delicious. One of the best iced coffee drinks I’ve had. It was subtle, but still flavorful. Generous amounts of whipped cream on top and a chocolate wafer on the side. My husband said his Classic Mocha coffee was equally delicious and he preferred it to the coffees he normally gets from Starbucks. He also had it served with a chocolate wafer on the side, for stirring. As we enjoyed our coffee a few customers came in and seemed to be regulars. There was only one employee working that day, and despite being busy at times, she was also quick and friendly. Our coffees came out quickly, but I also felt she put a lot of care into making them. Based on this experience, I felt it far better than the usual Starbucks/CB&TL coffee I normally get, and I would certainly come back more often. If you haven’t already, I would strongly recommend you give it a try!
