I saw Dr. Wong for the first time this month, and he was great. He’s very thorough and, unlike some dentists I’ve visited, really took the time to explain what he is doing, and how you can take better care of your teeth.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Wong since I was a toddler. After moving to Los Angeles 10 years ago, I still only see Dr. Wong whenever I am back in Hawaii. He is the only dentist I trust!
The entire staff is great. Ann, the receptionist always squeezes me in (even when I make the mistake of calling last minute!). Jan and Jinky (hygienist and dental assistant) are always very welcoming and a pleasure to be around.
Dr. Wong is amazing. I’ve had numerous bite splints broken and or lost that he’s had to replace for me over the years. He always gives great advice and let’s you know what you are and aren’t doing right with your dental maintenance.
I always look forward to visiting the office when I’m visiting, how many people can say that about their dentist?

Just came back for a checkup and wanted to update my review from last year. I’m still completely loving Dr. Wong and his excellent hygienist and front desk staff. They’re all so friendly and professional. I’ve never felt so comfortable in a dentists office before, I don’t have any anxiety before my appointments the way I’ve felt in the past. In addition to my regular cleaning he very quick and efficiently corrected a minor issue I was having with one of my front teeth that was irritating me! Looking forward to my 6 month checkup :)

just had my first ever check up away from dr. wong in the city of chicago. the new dentist commented on how well my teeth have been taken care of. all the things he talked to me about i had already learned from dr. wong. proof to me that dr. wong was very legit.

I had been waking up in the morning and feeling my teeth aching. During my usual check up, I discussed this with Dr. Wong and he diagnosed that I had been grinding my teeth at night causing my teeth to slowly wear down and cause pain. Dr. Wong decided to make me a custom bite splint to wear at night. The bite splint is basically a hard plastic mouthpiece that I wear on the lower teeth while I sleep. So far this has been helping me sleep better and my teeth haven’t been hurting in the morning! I’m very fortunate that my problem was diagnosed correctly and the problem fixed!

Extremely thorough with evaluations, education, and treatment. A lot of knowledge and experience. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. I’ve seen Dr. Wong since I was a child, and have recommended several friends to him who are all very happy with his service.

This dentist got me in quickly while on vacation in Honolulu (see my hotel review of Park Shore Hotel) when my new dental bridge was just killing me. He found some SERIOUS issues that have resulted in 6 months of care from my endodontist, Roy Nesari, once I got home. Without this dentist, my jaw would have been permanently messed up and I would have lost a couple of teeth. THANK YOU, DR. WONG. And thank you for the great referral to Dr. Nesari in San Francisco, he did save my teeth. Eternally grateful for your expertise.

if you need a dentist who is thorough in his exams, charming and just a great dentist then dr wong should be your choice. his staff is very welcoming, friendly and i can’t say enough about them. so accommodating. a dental office with aloha…
