This is a small bar in the prince. But it’s very cozy and comfortable. The staff is super friendly and the cocktails are delicious. I suggest a frozen coconut mojito or a ginger margarita. Yummy!

Got the wings, calamari and poke. I wouldn’t say they were bad but there is much better on the island. Wings were dry, poke didn’t taste fresh and the calamari tasted like cheap frozen ones. That being said, I wouldn’t come back here with all the other options around. Our waitress however was great. And they provided a little dessert for my friend’s bday.

I went here twice while attending a convention. It closes at 10 and they have a last call for food at nine. The frozen drinks were yummy but not strong. My favorite was the bubble tini which had champagne and vodka mixed with strawberry purée. However, you have to try the shrimp scampi pizza! Soooo good and a small 8″, size of like a personal pan pizza, was only $ 10 which is pretty good for the area.

Reef Lounge is a great little bar in the Hawaii Prince hotel. This bar is mainly catered to the patrons of the Hawaii Prince, but that doesn’t mean locals aren’t welcome to come and grab a drink. They have some great drinks on hand from Kona Longboard and Goose Island Beer on tap and a plethora of spirits and wines. What makes this place special are the very awesome bartenders who can make any drink your heart desires. From mai tais to gin and tonics to old fashions, all drinks are made with care and are very delicious. There are pupus ranging from white truffle fries to chicken wings and on Sundays, they have NFL games on two televisions starting from the first kickoff at 7am. One television even has the Redzone channel and the other TV shows the FOX or CBS game. There are NFL breakfast and lunch specials with a fried rice breakfast that includes choice of portuguese sausage or bacon with a fried egg and lunch dishes like wings and fries or hamburger and fries. There is parking, $ 1/hr up to four hours which is actually pretty cheap for Waikiki. When entering the Hawaii Prince garage, make sure to choose the public parking. Prices can be a little expensive, as this is still a hotel bar, but it’s a great spot to grab a drink in Waikiki where you can sit back and relax with a good drink.

Stayed at the Hawaii Prince and visited the Reef Lounge twice. I had their Mai Tai and another fruity drink(forgot the name) and both were good. Prices are fair. It was very relaxing in there and the service was great. The bartenders were friendly and attentive.

The Reef Lounge is surprisingly not as expensive as you think it would be(since it is located in Waikiki). We were killing some time this Saturday and dropped by for a drink. I had the Bubble-tini while the bf had a Mango-lada. Both drinks were ok. Service was ok. They give you a small plate of Planters mixed nuts munch on when you sit down. It seemed like a very low key place so if you’re looking to party-this may not be the place for you. But if you’re looking to just chill indoors while in Waikiki-you may like this place.

so, i didn’t really want to go out… and i just wanted to go home… but our friend texted us pictures of the food… and we were there! didn’t get to try the clams, cuz they were gone by the time we got there, BUT i slopped up the sauce and it was amazing! i even start marinating cocktail peanuts in the sauce! lol. we ordered shrimp scampi pizza and i thought it was gonna show up with bay shrimp or something comparable, but boy was i wrong! it was luscious, perfectly cooked SHRIMP! service at the bar was awesome! i wish i remembered his name, but he was funny funny! nice place, nice ambiance, very open feeling. they close at 9:45…so get their early! it’s a nice spot to START your night ;0

Reef Lounge is in the Hawaii Prince Hotel lobby. If you like Bloody Marys, you’ll want to try the one at Reef Lounge. There was a hint of(what tasted to me like) Worcestershire sauce, which gave it a more rustic and homemade taste. It’s almost like a meal bc it’s pretty hearty. Loved it and I’ll definitely be back for more. Especially before /after a fulfilling meal at Hakone! As for ambiance, it definitely has that airport lounge /bar feel. Not sure if it’s because the windows are totally clear and you can see people walking around in the lobby… It’s not a bad thing, just an observation. Anyway, it’s a pretty small bar /lounge.

what: a contemporary lounge located in the hawaii prince hotel! something good: i had some time to kill before meeting some friends so i decided to pop in and have a glass~ it was a small and cute lounge! although it is pretty small it is really comfortable~ it wasn’t so busy when i was there but the bartenders seemed really attentive to the customers who were there. this looks like a lounge people come to relax and hang out~ there were people eating here as well as drinking! i like that i came alone and didn’t feel awkward :) all in all, it is a very cool space to hang out in! something not so good: nothing at all! something to try: a nice glass of wine(7)
