Good and will come back. One of the few places that have fat brisket. Will always come back

Hands down the best phở in town. Order the #16, extra side order onions and go to town on their homemade chili garlic sauce. Trust me, just do it.

This has consistently been my go to place in Hawaii for Phở. I have a cold and tofu and vegetables phở is my go to. Service here is alright, years ago the workers used to always call me sister… sister you want more water?, sister you ok?, sister you done? I asked for another soda, they only fill up half a cup. Right now they have an ad on the table, review on Unilocal for free soda.

Really affordable and great tasting! I will definitely be coming back! They have free parking on the second floor and a free soda that comes with the purchase of an entrée everyday except Saturday. On Saturdays they have phở special buy one get one 50% off! I haven’t tried this yet but I definitely will! My friend ordered the large phở, which came with a really good portion of meat especially for $ 9 something. I got the vermicelli noodle with pork loin and spring rolls. This was delicious. The pork and spring rolls were so tasty and perfectly cooked! The service was great and fast.

I’ve been eating at the Phở Restaurant for almost 4 years now. This has to be my favorite places to eat phở. I tried many different phở places, but this one is my all time favorite. The workers here are very nice and friendly, since we come here all the time, they know what we want. They have really good customer service. They greet you once you walk in, they seat you pretty fast, and they give you water once you’re settled. We usually come on Saturdays because it’s buy one phở and get the second one 50% off. And it gets busy super fast, so if you decide to come on Saturday, be sure to come early. :) other than that, on regular days, it’s also busy, but not as busy. Their phở is very good also, the large is pretty huge, they give a good amount for the price they have. It’s affordable. I feel like they give more than they should. Overall, this is the best phở in town! I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a good phở place. :)

We love this place. Free and ample parking, super friendly staff and consistently yummy food. We always get the same thing but hopefully one day I will venture out and try something new. But for now I can vouch for the number 12 and the summer rolls. Their summer rolls appetizer is a perfect share plate to start and they’re peanut sauce is the perfect consistency and flavor. Their phở broth is also great. Some phở places I’ve been to I find the broth a little too sweet and personally prefer a lighter slightly salty beef flavor which this place nailed. We’ve been coming here for about three years and love it every time.

Their phở is amazing. What else there is to say? I really like their new and clean interior. Price is not bad at all. Other menus like rice dish with Vietnamese style pork bbq are also fire.

I tried their chicken phở, and it was so-so. I definitely liked the broth and the fresh vegetables, but I wasn’t too sure about the chicken. It was really dry, but I guess it was okay. The regular size bowl though was just enough! Really great portion and I felt satisfied in the end. They do lack customer service, but in the end, I still think I would come back again since it’s near my workplace!

Phở Tri has gone though many renovations in the past few years. It has a nice set up with 3 different entrances/exits, one from the parking and two in the front on either side, facing Kalakaua Ave. Enter the parking lot from Beretania St. just before the Kalakaua stop light. Saturday’s(especially dinner time) are always the most busy with their«buy 1 phở get the 2nd50% off» deal so service is a lot slower that day than the rest. I always have phở cravings on Thursday nights, coincidentally. I don’t eat phở every Thursday, but I do have my streaks. Each time I’ve come on a Thursday for dinner around 6 or 7, there are only a few customers and service is lightning speed, as it should be, since everything in phở is already cooked/uncooked and ready to be served. There are two sizes– medium and large phở. I always order the medium with meat balls and tendon(my faves!) That specific combination isn’t on the menu but you can ask for any mix of «meats» and they’ll charge you accordingly. The basil, bean sprouts, lemon slices, etc. are plentiful and they always bring over a side dish filled with jalapenos, yum! I love the spring and summer rolls here but usually only order appetizers when I’m out with big eaters. In my opinion– none of these items are good as leftovers. I always leave satisfied and craving my next phở run.

Feeling like a nice bowl of phở, and remembered Phở Tri had a BOGOHALFOFFSECONDBOWL special this month(from 5:30 to 8PM). Can’t wait to go back again! We ordered 2 bowls of combination, large size. Our phở came out nice and hot. Everything was perfect. The brisket was not fatty and cooked to perfection. I’m used to seeing«rainbow meat» where the beef was cooked to death, leaving an iridescent glow of all different colors on dark brown meat, and experiencing a powdery feeling in the mouth while chewing. We had no problem finding the tripe and tendon because it wasn’t cut/sliced paper thin like other places. The noodles were not mushy and took upon the flavor of the yummy broth. Don’t understand why the place wasn’t slammed busy with phở like this. It’s true they raised their prices, but that’s pretty much the going rate for a bowl of phở and the place was recently renovated. Bonus: Their satay sauce is mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm good! Not for the weak at heart. Perfect for the cool/windier weather AND free parking. Tip: Order the large bowl. They give you so much more for just a dollar more. Felt like treasure hunting while eating; noodles, fresh basil, onion, beansprouts and meat in every bite… Can’t wait to go back again!!!

Thank goodness! My absolute favorite phở restaurant is OPEN again after being closed for renovations. Their broth is the best, their veggies fresh and they have all the right condiments. Plus you get a free fountain drink, and 50% off your 2nd phở on Saturdays! What’s not to love?

Takes too long for the service. The time I came to this restaurant was my first time & also will be my last time. The issue is because the following: 1. Service takes too long for food to arrive. The time I came was with my son. I ordered phở while my son ordered Banh Xeo. Though, phở supposed to come out ~less than 5 minutes. Actual time for both my phở & my son’s Banh Xeo came out to be ~more than 15 minutes. Takes too long for food to service. 2. In addition, as soon as the food is serviced, sadly the food we ordered does not taste too good. My son’s Banh Xeo tasted badly – NOTCRISPY… Good Banh Xeo supposed to be crispy, not mushy like my son’s banh xeo. As for my phở, unfortunately, broth too sweet(must have added too much MSG). Less meats in my phở too; in addition, the meat in the phở is supposed to be slice not too thick nor too thin – these meats I ate in the phở are too extreme in either too thinly sliced or too thick sliced. Overall, the one I totally dislike & why I have to give an unsatisfactory score of 1 star would be the restaurant organization. Bad organization. Especially, why it took so long to service our food? Therefore, please work on your organization. Sorry for this unsatisfactory comment, but I hope you can please learn from this mistake to hopefully improve your business in the future Phở Tri. Advantage about your restaurant is the large space & lots of variety of your menu. Though, please, take my advice & please be organize in the timing of your food service – deliver your foods to your customers on time without having the customers having to remind your waiter/waitress to bother your chefs on «is the food ready?» Good luck with your business. & I hope you will improve in the future Phở Tri because you need a lot to improve.

Great service even though we came in at closing. Tasty phở, promptly served. My favorite server, sweet Trang, works here now, so that is a plus also. Saturday night buy-one-get-second-half-off deal is sweet too!

I came here last week Saturday for dinner with the hubby. I used to come all the time until they closed for renovations. This is my first time back since they opened. It’s still buy one get one half off phở’s on Saturdays. It also comes with a free fountain drink. The food tastes the same and they give the same amount. However, the prices went up about $ 2 for a bowl of phở. Now, it’s about $ 10 a bowl, which is standard at a lot of places. It’s still a very good deal if you come on Saturdays.

They just reopened after renovations! This is the second time I got to dine here and I feel very lucky to have dined here right before their renovations and immediately after they reopened. One of the first differences I noticed was when we entered the parking garage off Beretania, there is an attendant now. Previously no one was guiding traffic and watching the lot. It’s not part of the restaurant but I just wanted to mention this. Parking is still the same as before, free and on the second floor. You walk down the stairs and you’re right at the back entrance of the restaurant. When you enter, most of the restaurant looks about the same. The rocks are painted and cleaned, table clothes look new and there is a new counter. I believe the menus are new because the prices went up a bit. The servers have these bright green shirts that I don’t believe they wore before. Aside from that, I didn’t notice much changes. Now to the phở, the broth was good and hot when it came out. I ordered the combination phở with meat outside(raw). The bowl was filled with meat and noodles. Looked like the portions stayed about the same. Noodles were firm and felt just slightly undercooked with the first few bites. There is a lot of cooked beef in the bowl which is good but I wish that there were more raw meat on the side(only had 3 pieces). The meal was accompanied with a lot of veggies but the basil didn’t look so fresh. Overall, better than the average bowl of phở but the price is a little high for a large bowl($ 11.51 after tax and not including tip). Best deal is to come when they offer the buy one and get one 50% off on Saturday. It includes a free soda so don’t forget to ask the server about it. With a deal like this, I can see why they are so popular!

After a few months of renovations, Phở Tri’s grand opening was 7÷24÷15, With BOGO half off the 2nd bowl of phở. The same special, but good on Fridays.(7⁄24) The restaurant looks like they have new walls & new bathrooms. The bathrooms are very nice & clean, with sensored soap dispenser & paper towels. & as to make up for lost revenue & renovation expenses comes the price increase! Yes! I knew it will happen! Large bowl: 10.99 Medium bowl: 9.99 New to menu: Keiki meal, kids size phở &1 spring roll: 7.99 I also notice price increase on the other food items. Total bill for 4 bowls of phở + 1 Thai tea & pork summer rolls = 44.39 This comes out the same if we went to eat at another phở restaurant. The price increase isn’t much of a savings! & why from 5 stars to 2? Phở wasn’t good, soup taste as tho it was lacking flavor, broth was very light. My sister noticed they gave less meats.(cut back, due to half off deals) What I did like about this restaurant, seeing the workers with their new light green Aloha attire. The only thing I enjoyed, since my favorite color is green. Sorry Phở Tri, I know it’s your grand opening, but I was not happy!

Just went to the Saturday grand opening Bogo 50% off. I noticed renovated walls and ceiling I think the ownership changed but the waitresses say no. The lunch of phở was still satisfying although the prices went up by about a buck.

I’ve eaten here many times over the years, but I must say… I think Phở Tri Vietnamese Restaurant had an off day today. I finished work pretty late today… so instead of cooking and making something to eat, I figured I’d step out with my pops for a bowl of phở tonight. I usually go to my favorite hole in the wall — «Phở Nina», but decided on a different place today. Phở Tri Vietnamese Restaurant was the place for phở today. It was pretty empty when we walked in tonight(not a good sign), but slowly a few people trickled in(4 or 5 groups). Upon scanning the menu, I decided on two medium bowls of the«Beef Combination» Phở. What’s in the Beef Combination Phở? Well, you have the beef ball, rare beef, brisket, tendon, and a ton of vegetables! I must say the broth they make is pretty good, the vegetables were fresh, meat was generous, so why the«3» star rating? Well when I got my phở… at best, it was just lukewarm in temperature. Now how can you serve a bowl of phở, and have it lukewarm? Now really??? Taste of the phở would easily be a «4» tho… service was fast, and there is parking within the building, but you would have to enter the parking structure from Beretania Street. For me, I lucked out and found a metered parking spot on Young Street. Restaurant has a Kalakaua address folks, but don’t get confused… it’s far far away from the Waikiki area. The restaurant is located just next door from a 7-Eleven store on Young Street & Kalakaua Ave. As you got towards mauka, just next door from an assisted living apartment complex.

Our family has a tradition of coming here once a week and I’ve grown to be fond of the place. On Saturdays they do a buy one get one half off, which makes it get pretty busy pretty quickly. They also offer a free soft drink! I like the phở here but I haven’t tried enough phở to know the difference between the best phở and decent phở. I think the summer and spring rolls are pretty standard, but I also don’t have that much to compare it to. The only thing I don’t really like about this place is that they get so busy and distracted that they aren’t quick about cleaning tables and seating people. You’ll see multiple tables open up but they won’t even get to cleaning them because they’re too distracted running orders around. Sometimes you’ll get frustrated and either 1) say something or 2) leave. I’ve seen people do both. Overall I think the place is pretty good for quality and price. Parking is available in the garage but it is limited and does get pretty full on saturdays. You may want to come early or late to avoid the lunch rush.
