This HUGE sign hanging from the front of the store was what finally lead me to check this place out.
The store consist primary of herbal pills, natural oils, and health supplements. The other part: herbal tea, Seventh Generation products, Thom’s, etc. You know, products made with natural ingredients. Even Japanese incense *confused about that but I guess it has to do with medication and stress release *
It’s literally on corner where Kalakaua meets Beretania. An intersection I always find myself at waiting at to turn left.
Being it was a Sunday, and street parking was free I had no problems finding a stall right near the corner on Kalakaua. I was greeted by the owner, a very sweet lady who was in the middle of a conversation with her only customer at the time in the store. The shelves were very empty; only 1 or 2 items of the same product on the shelf. I couldn’t say if this was normal or just due to the closing sale. After that lady left it was just me and the owner. She manage to pick up that I was new to all this stuff, and was very informative about EVERYTHING. I didn’t quite understand a lot of what she was saying, but she did pull out a book that allowed me to read about all the things she suggested. I learned SO much in the 15 minutes I was there!
The number apparently doesn’t work cause I tried calling to ask for hours of operation, but just got a recording about her closing up shop. Not sure what time they open but they close at 5PM.
