I’ve stopped here several times on my way out of Hawaii, and this place is better than most airport restaurants/bars. Tonight Maria was my server, and she was very attentive and excellent, without being overpowering. And she kept my water glass full, which I really liked. I had the chicken quesadilla appetizer as a meal, although I couldn’t imagine having this as simply an appetizer followed by a main: it was quite filling on its own. The quesadillas were quite tasty with the pico de gallo and sour cream sides, but I also added guacamole for an extra $ 2. That was a rip-off, as the guacamole was a mere single scoop that was very small. But, of course this is expensive: it’s at the airport! And I will stop here again whenever I have extra time on my way out of Honolulu.

So, after literally getting seated and looking at the menus of 3 different restaurants we whined up here. I was wanting a BLT sandwich and none of the restaurants didn’t have it on their menu. I asked the nice waiter(I think his name was Jeff) and he said he can make it work! Yay! But the service was extremely slooowww… After 30 mins of still waiting for our food, we had to ask for them to just box it up and we will take it as a to go order. I notice 2 other customers did the same. I actually saw them on my plane. After opening my meal on the plane I notice there were hardly any bacon. It was just 1 piece! I Wasn’t happy about that at all! I just had a TL sandwich. The chip fries was good though but I’m sure it would have been better with my BLT!

Worst service ever! We got seated pretty quickly. 15 minutes later, no one came up to us for drinks or to order. We saw other guests get seated and offered drinks. Once the time kept going we looked around and the place was busy, yet no one was eating. After wasting over 15 minutes, we left. The hostess didn’t say anything after we just up and left. With the slim pickings at this airport, it’s a shame that they treat guests like that.

I had the Turtle Bay, an Ahi steak sandwich. I thought it was pretty good. I would have actually given it four stars if it weren’t for the bun. It was just the typical Franz white hamburger bun. The piece of Ahi though was really pretty big as you can see from my pict. If you order this I would recommend a side of wasabi, it was better with just a touch.

We had some time to kill before our flight home. Since we just wanted a sandwich, this place worked out just fine. We were seated immediately. Our service was ok during our meal. I’ve come to realize that usually airport locations of restaurants are just that. We had to wait a few times for refills and I had to get my own extra napkins when the waiter disappeared. We started with the clubhouse chips. Kettle chips with tomatoes, crispy bacon, crumbled blue cheese, shredded lettuce and ranch. The chips were ok, the bacon was not crispy and the lettuce was not shredded and just places underneath. I was disappointed. I ordered the Waialae sandwich which was pulled pork, coleslaw and onions. There wasn’t much to this sandwich as there was little ingredients used. The sweet potato fries were the only saving grace to my meal. I wouldn’t play this course again.

Come here rather than Stinger Rays(in interisland terminal) if you want more variety and healthier options. Also, it was easier to find seating even though both were busy. PGA is laid out better for smaller parties. Food is more flavorful. Plus I prefer William Hill chardonnay over stinger rays sonoma cutrer. Look at menu and you will see this is superior choice.

Carolyn is the best waitress I have ever had! She has a great personality and the food was amazing. I couldn’t believe I’m at the airport. Shes amazing and deserves a raise ! :)

Good food before long flight. Recommend the burger which was juicy and flavorful. Server did a nice job taking care of me. Better than food bought on plane. Nice refreshing drinks and food. An oasis among the pathetic. I took an epic piss here too.

I travel to many places and this place is simply the suckiest for two good reasons: 1. Waitress is rude, rushed, and just the suckiest server ever. 2. Small portion of food with high prices. So save your money — go else where. Aloha!

This place used to be called Dewar’s, but apparently they’re now called PGA Tour Grill. Wonder why the name change? Hmm. If you are ever flying in and/or out to the mainland US and not on Hawaiian airlines, chances are you have seen this eatery from gates 14 – 23 at the entrance to the main terminal. On a few of my mainland trips from Hawaii, I found myself having dinner here while waiting for my flight. With most cases, having a beer or two is almost mandatory sometimes. On my last visit here on the night of 08/21/2015, service here was interesting, but not unexpected. Someone initially took my order, but turns out that it was another person’s set of tables. It was kind of awkward to hear them talk about it. I guess that stuff happens in the restaurant business. The overall experience here isn’t bad at all, but it’s at the airport, so best bet would be to get here early for your flight to enjoy a beer or two or just find something before you get to the airport entirely. PGA Tour Grill is one of the few pretty decent dining choices while in Honolulu international airport. I would suspect that most, if not all their clientele are outbound travelers wanting a meal or snack before their flights. The restaurant itself isn’t big, more like a giant kiosk in the middle of the room after passing TSA and walking that hallway to gates 14 – 23. The only gripe is that they’re quite overpriced and portion controlled at no extra charge, as usual — airport food is always like that. But then again, some gems come from the airport, but that’s far and few between. They take credit cards, so that always a plus. The last time I was here I ordered a burger with fries, along with a healthy dose of Kona longboard beer. The positive spin I can make of PGA Tour Grill is that they do have beer when you want it. The burger was rather delicious and juicy, so it was probably worth the price although it could have been larger for $ 14 or so. The cup of French fries was decently good. Although they already had them mass prepped, so I saw them grab one of them and plopped it at my spot. Not my definition of freshly made, but I guess it works for time sensitive travelers. The entire experience here was short and sweet. Your average time here would be around 30 – 45 minutes from start to finish. The service was decent and friendly, which should always be the case. Not sure how to make of the diversion that happened to me on this most recent outing, but it was just weird. For Me, this place is good for a beer or two before your flight. And that’s probably it. Support local! C+

My favorite spot at HNL to grab a bite if we have time before a flight. I found this place by accident as I usually fly United so don’t spend much time in this part of the airport. Good beers on tap, nice variety of cocktails and several healthy options make this a great place to start a vacation. Food: Great options if you don’t want to fill yourself up with oily or greasy food before a long flight. We’ve had several of their menu selections in the past but on this visit we decided to share a Chicken Pesto flatbread and a Veggie Flatbread. Both were tasty and I especially liked the large pieces of mushrooms and artichokes on the veggie flatbread. I ordered the Rye Old Fashioned which was tasty and the bartender did not skimp on the Rye. There are a variety of cocktails and beers so lots of choices. Service: Our server was friendly stopping by several times to refill water and check on us. The drinks and food came out quickly, granted what we ordered shouldn’t take long to prepare anyway but being able to finish a meal in a relatively short amount of time is important if you have a flight to catch. Atmosphere: Bar or table seating, open layout, several televisions showing sports events. Nice clean layout to the restaurant. Value: Pricey but it’s in the airport. Cocktail ran $ 17, draft beers are much cheaper. But when I’m starting my vacation with a well made cocktail I don’t mind spending a few extra dollars. Most menu items are actually priced lower than the cocktail so our food bill would have definitely been lower if we had skipped the drinks. But again. it’s a vacation right! Overall: Still my favorite to grab a bite before a flight.

My server was one of the rudest people I’ve ever met. No one seems to know the menu, so good luck if you have questions. Limited gluten free options, ditto on the vegan options. Sucks being trapped at the airport.

Gastropub quality food an an airport? Believe Dat! Burger was perfectly pink like a steakhouse and all fresh ingredients. It will be my regular stop from now on! The wait staff is super friendly and polite. The only redness I saw here was from impatient and unrealistic patrons. And I also see low star rating based on price… Let’s be realistic! Do you know what the rent is on these spaces??? BENICE

Typical airport/bar food. Good beer, decent service, but the food left a lot to be desired. I imagine this would be a great place to catch a game while waiting for a flight, but if you’re looking for a nice meal to tie you over before you cross the Pacific then you might be better off looking elsewhere. Not that there are a ton of options at Honolulu International. In all fairness, all of this is based on their chicken quesadilla, an uninspired stuffed tortilla with beans, chicken, and cheese served with diced tomatoes(no, I wouldn’t call that Pico), sour cream and if you kick in a little extra, some guacamole. It tasted ok, not great. I’ve been told that the burgers here are decent. Maybe I should’ve gone that route… The service was efficient and polite.

A good looking spot in the middle of the Airport. Plenty of seating and a full bar. Pros: — Clean — Good food options — Friendly staff Cons: — Pricey(I spend about 40 bucks on a seared Ahi burger and a cocktail) — No power(In an airport half the reason I stop to eat is so that I can recharge)

PGA Tour is one of the few restaurants in the Alaskan Air terminal at Honolulu Airport. It’s settled right at the entry where all the gates are and is a great location since you can hear all the gate announcements from wherever you’re eating. The staff was very attentive and they also helped cover each other, which we thought was a plus. That’s where the pluses end though. Expensive! We both got an entrée and I got a beer. The chicken sandwich I got was $ 17 and roughly the size of a McChicken from McDonald’s. Now I’m not saying I expect a huge gourmet chicken sandwich and I expect it to be expensive but I mean COMEON. THISMUCHFORTHISLITTLE!!! When the wifey’s flatbread came in we were also in disbelief. The paddle it came on was a respectable size, about the size of an ipad, but the actual flatbread that came out was roughly the size of her foot. We just shook our heads in disappointment. Lastly, my beer was about $ 11. I expected to pay about $ 9 or $ 10, but $ 11 was a little high. Again though, their redeeming factors are that their staff was very attentive and pretty sensitive to the fact that you’re flying. They asked someone near us what time their flight was and made sure they were all taken care of and squared away. They did the same for us. When we sat down, our waitress gave us menus and about a minute later another came up and asked if we had been helped. Since we were ready to order, she didn’t say«oh let me get your server» she said, «No problem what would you like and I’ll make sure it gets put in». After wifey’s water was low, they came out with water. Truly a great staff. It MAY have something to do with the fact that there were only 5 tables and there were 3 servers, but still! They could have been lazy! Would I go back? Probably not because of the cost. I’d plan better and load up on Musubi’s from outside. This place was WAY better than Kona Brewing though. We sat there for about 5 minutes and never got acknowledged we were there until we left. TL:DR — A decent option but be prepared to pay.

As if Hawaiian food prices weren’t high as it is… eating at the airport doesn’t really help the price. $ 15 for a burger and some fries is pretty steep no matter where you go — but paying the extra $ 3 for the kobe style beef and you got yourself a pretty decent burger. Is it worth the $ 20? Not very many burgers are and though this one is no exception — it did do it’s job in filling me up and hittin the spot while I watched the football game before heading on my flight home. There isn’t much to rave about as it was just a quick pit stop.

Breakfast for the day :) saw the Seahawks game playing and friend was here so we decided to stay. Ordered the burger and upgraded it to Kobe beef medium rare. Comes with a little metal bucket of fries. We just happened to have our Hawaiian crown pineapples and stuck some in with them burger… Omg drool haha The combination of the juicy Kobe beef and pineapple juice between the rest of the burger was just heaven haha Good stop before the flight
