As my last review noted, they can’t seem to open on time. Now, combined with a «Closed» sign at 6:50 pm… I’m convinced that this is purgatory. Waiting for a flight with a bar still playing the game on TV but refusing to serve you. If you’re making a fight between island not on Hawaiian, be prepared to be either a) raped by the price or b) heartbroken by the unposted and nonsensical hours. Either way it’s disappointing.

So you’re trapped in the inter island airport terminal and you’re hungry or thirsty. The Cocktail Lounge is there to gouge you — but at least they have the decency to give you decent food while they do it. Figure ten bucks for drinks and fifteen for loaded nachos; two bucks a wing. But both are actually pretty good — the nachos have tons of jalapeño on them; not flavored of wing are decent and they are cooked perfectly. The Hawaiians know how to deep fry! Drafts have generous pours too.

Probably one of the worst lounges I’ve ever been to. Here’s why: –Place is very expensive. Beers will cost you 8ish dollars. That is, if you can ever get the service to order a beer. Nachos are pretty good.
–I know it’s Hawaii but I don’t think the server should be the one being laid back. Not only did we have to wait very long for water, I had to clean my own table when the waitress gave me a rag. Tough part is that there is only two options for food in the connector airport, this and Quiznos. When I go back to Lani, I will either eat Quiznos or stop in the Honolulu airport to get something to eat/drink.

The wings aren’t half bad… but $ 20 for wings and ONE bud light? gahhh(and not including tip by the way)…I’d rather starve next time. Everything in the inter island terminal is insanely over priced even for an airport. Guess they have to cash in on people’s desperation for nourishment and re hydration… but still the flights to the neighbor islands aren’t even that long lol.

The Cocktail Lounge at the Honolulu International Airport’s Inter-Island Terminal is one of those places where you dread to be. If you’re drinking or eating here, that means that your flight has been delayed for an unknown number of hours and you’re now at the mercy of ten-dollar Bud Lights and fifteen-dollar nachos. For those of you with an inner moke, Bud Lights and nachos probably sounds like a small piece of heaven, but for the rest of us, waiting for a three hour delayed puddle jumper for a twenty minute flight is a bit like hell. The service was nice enough, but its hard to be in a good mood losing valuable vacation time sitting at the airport bar.
