Dude! These guys totally kick ass! The owner is super nice, and the guy that helped me totally rocks! My trip over wasn’t going as planned so I said, «Fu*k it! I’m getting a moped!» Made my day and I was cruisin all over. They took the time to explain E V E R Y T H I N G. Super friendly and best $ 30 I spent this trip! High five to you boys! Mahalo!!!

Great service from Ramon during pick-​up, and from the two ladies when I returned it. Ramon cares about safety and will make sure you are confident enough to ride before you take off. They are located in an alley adjacent to Aqua Bamboo. Good selection of bikes, and I was able to rent for 6 hours for $ 25, but rates do change with the seasons. It’s usually a minimum of $ 20 for 3 hrs. as of now, but do check and call ahead. Ramon is great, and offers lits of tips for the area and about the bikes. Mahalo, Ramon!

First let me describe what happened when I went to another moped rental place on lemon rd. it was going to he $ ⁴⁰⁄₂₄ hours minus $ 4 discount because I had a coupon plus a $ 200 deposit even though I didn’t really need it that long plus $ 5 fuel surcharge. They asked if I’d ever ridden a moped and I said no so the worker there was using all these scare tactics, he was gonna make me watch a video and was trying to shove the $ 25 insurance policy down my throat, and was saying that I also need it because they get stolen all the time AND the mint colored bike I wanted was going to be $ 5 more… I was getting an uneasy feeling so I said ya know what I changed my mind.
So then I googled cheapest moped rental in Honolulu & was directed to paradise on wheels. The guy was friendly and helpful over the phone so I walked just a few blocks over from lemon rd and that guy, the co-​owner was great.
He was kind and patient and didn’t treat me like a complete idiot. He showed me how to ride and I mastered it in less than a minute. It’s a moped, not rocket surgery. He demonstrated the bike lock that was included, which was just as effective as an insurance policy. He gave me some great suggestions on where to go in the 3 hours, showed me a map. It was only $ 19.95 for 3 hours ($ 100 deposit that I get back). I got a cute pink one, I chose it over a mint one, neither was extra charge.
He suggested I go back to get my sunglasses which I did and it was a great suggestion because it blocked a bunch of bugs from entering my eyeballs. He gave me a helmet at no extra charge which I soon discarded.
Before I returned it I filled the gas tank for $ 0.63.
When I came back I inquired about taking it for longer and he let me extend it to the 8 hour package for just $ 10 more, total $ 29.95. Tax was like a dollar, no extra fees.
I strongly suggest this place. Friendly helpful cheap and a big selection of mopeds to choose from. A+++ AWESOME SERVICE.

Great experience with scooter rental. The owner took the time to show us around the scooters to make sure we were comfortable with riding them. Gave us a great deal for the rental. Would definitely come here again on my next visit.

Very professional and a great pleasure to work with. Gave me and my wife a great deal on a 24 hour rental and didn’t charge us for a small scratch that I made on one of the mopeds. Also, wasn’t so strict on the return time and gave us time to fill up the mopeds with gas. If I ever need to rent a moped again in Waikiki, I would turn first to paradise on wheels.

Touring Oahu is great by bike/​moped. We rented a bike the day before and decided to try moped for the first time, the day after. I loved this place! The price was really great! Better than the bike place we did, and the service was amazing!!! It seems the place is family owned and they are really accomodating. We were supposed to do something else and plans got changed, so it was a late start. We rented moped at 2 pm, and they give us option to do 8 hours instead of 24 hours… Even they close at 5 – 6 pm. And the guy even took us to test it out, give you option to learn and if completely not working out to not stuck with it. We moped to Makapuu (west side) and it took us 4 hours, we stopped to take many pictures at every scenic point and even chill a bit on Sandy beach and also made it to Leonard’s for tasty snacks! The moped can go pretty fast, 40 mph is pretty good and uphill is 20 and easy to ride! It get us to places fast, and we enjoyed! They value great service and cheaper than others! Definitely reccomending and i would totally use them again if neex bike/​moped! And of course i got a pink moped :)

Great experience! Great service & great prices! For 3 hours you only pay $ 20. Deposit of $ 200 is required and is refunded when you return the moped. Tank must be full, but if you don’t return it full they charge you $ 5/​for each quarter. The owner was very helpful and showed me how to ride it safe as this was my first time on a moped. We used our time to go to the Diamond Head and what is great is that there are bike lanes on the main road and the drivers are a very careful when you drive around them. I definitely recommend this activity to anyone who is looking to do something different and memorable!

First time renting a moped with paradise on wheels in Waikiki and it was a great experience. One of the best pricing I seen. $ ³⁰⁄₂₄ hrs with a $ 200 deposit. Got around a lot easier! Very convenient! The customer service was a plus too!

Best kept secret in Honolulu? Perhaps!
If you’re in Waikiki and dont plan to rent a car, you get around most of the town on foot, or by cab if really necessary. There is also a shuttle to many places. But if you want to explore further than the nearby shopping and restaurants, renting a scooter is a wonderful idea. It’s safe, fun, and affordable .
We enjoyed two scooter rentals for four hours for only $ 20 each, and it’s only $ ³⁰⁄₂₄ hours. Drivers license required. A$ 200 deposit is also required and refunded upon return of scooter. Make sure the tank is full.
It’s really easy to ride, and helmets are available, but not required. We had the opportunity to get to a beautiful hike to a waterfall and see Diamond Head Crater, thanks to our rental. Best day ever.
