I’ve been a client with them for a while and believe me I am well taken cared. recent Emergency was a cracked tooth Dr David helped fixed it. prior to that I had neck and jaw pain due to my night teeth grinding… Dr Kurt helped me with that. They are preventive care… so they are helpful in educating us beyond the basics. It does get pricey but Sharon will assist you to work out a payment plan. Now days employers are cutting back on dental insurance so not much options. so take care of your teeth… they are connected to your overall health. I hope this helps. good luck and thanks.

Do your research before you try out a new dentist. This place was a rip-off and as Laura D. mentioned, he totally tried to sell me on the TMJ bullshit, too. I asked what I could about my lock jaw *temporarily* and was told that the only option was going through the treatment, which cost the same as getting braces! I spoke with another dentist and oral surgeon who told me that TMJ treatment he was trying to sell me is not a permanent solution, and that most lock-jaw comes and goes and is usually due to stress. No problems with it now and guess what I did about it? Nothing.

This guy is the PRIME example of a dentist that tries to sell and push you into more procedures. I went to him when I was 19, a POOR college student with a crappy insurance from my restaurant job. I went b/c of wisdom teeth and he suggested that all 4 come out in case they bother me in the future. Being the naïve young college student I was, I listened, then he suggested I put these fake tooth type things in my gums for better healing. TOTALLY unnecessary. and I remember him pushing HARD… just sitting there staring at me saying crap like… well it’s better and recommended.blahblahblah. I remember him being sooo pushy it would make me feel uncomfortable like he was scolding me for not accepting his recommendation… in the end I declined b/c I just couldn’t afford it and never heard of sucha thing. Oh and after my wisdom teeth were taken out, he felt that I needed a root canal. and scheduled me for one, all by putting hot and cold items on my teeth… it was soo painful and I felt like it was a awful way to diagnose me. Then, on the DAYOF the procedure, he tests my tooth one more time and goes, actually, looks like the sensitivity went away… WTF?! are you kidding me? what kind of DR. are you? he needs his license revoked. After that, he tried selling me the whole TMJ bullshit. This guy is ridiculous and sooo desperate for money! I remember all his tools looking soooo old and gross too! Oh and his wife is his receptionist so of course… double crook team here. after your appt, the wife will call you NONSTOP for extra visits to issues like some scamming telemarketer. There’s another Dr. in the office that’s a lot nicer/seems like he knows what he’s doing… and he did my fillings, and he’s the only genuine decent DOCTOR around that office. Uyehara and his wife really should’ve looked into a different business if this was how they were gonna treat people. No one should go here! he is awful. IN fact, the same building has some A M A Z I N G dentists, so do your research, this guy’s office should be closed down.

Dr. Curt took me on short notice after my own dentist told me it would be two weeks to get a root canal taken care of! Probably saved my tooth, and saved me from enduring two weeks of dull pain through a VIcodin-induced fog. Thanks Dr. Curt!
