My whole family sees Dr. Sugiki and staff. He is the greatest dentist I have ever known in my short 50 years of life. I think painfree is his middle name. If there is any gripe, I would say make your appointment before the Mall opens. Parking kind of sucks after that. Leave your house a half hour earlier if it is. And, you must cancel your appointment 24 hours in advance of get charged a $ 50.00 Fee.

Does anyone really love their dentist?
Um… Well… OF COURSE YOU DO! That is, if you see Dr. Sugiki and his super friendly, caring staff. Dr. Sugiki is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. I came to him when I was still pretty young (I think about 9ish) traumatized by my pediatric dentist. I was scared to go to the dentist and always cried because my previous dentist would either hurt and/​or yell at me. While going to the dentist isn’t necessarily my favorite thing to do in the world, I certainly don’t mind it anymore.
When you walk in you’re always greeted by name with a smile. I’m not sure if this is purposeful or just a huge coincidence but I generally have the same hygienist every time I come in. I enjoy that because you build a rapport with that person and it makes you even more comfortable coming in.
Dr. Sugiki is very kind and caring. He has a very delicate touch when he doing his examination. Also, when you have to have a cavity filled and he gives you the shot he always says he’s sorry in a very reassuring way.
I have to add that when I lived in New York I knew of five dentists who were pretty well-​known and Unilocal famous and could’ve gone to them while I lived there but decided that I would rather fly home to Hawaii to have my check ups with Dr. Sugiki. Now that I’m back home I’m glad I can see Dr. Sugiki anytime I need him without planning a flight!

After going years without seeing a dentist, I was referred by my family to Dr. Sugiki. Conveniently located on the 3^rd floor of Kahala Mall, the facility is well maintained, well staffed and CLEAN. Calling in an appointment, speaking with the receptionists, and filing out new patient paperwork were painless.
I arrived early and the staff was ready for me 20 minutes before my scheduled appointment time. My hygienist was pleasant for my entire treatment. She carried her inquiry in a polite fashion; which is great because if you’re like me, I’m shy and nervous when asking or answering health-​related questions. Each patient is treated a cubicle-​like section so there are no distractions to your care. In addition to being treated with COMFORTABLE equipment (which is a big deal to me), I was offered a complimentary toothbrush and toothpaste. OH YES.
Dr. Sugiki was a gentle examiner and RESPECTFUL when we discussed my future dental care. My hygienist ensured my hour-​long appointment didn’t go overtime and I left with no questions or concerns because the staff does a great job clearing up any uncertainty. Everyone should leave satisfied with his or her dentist experience. Call Dr. Sugiki for an exemplary dental experience.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Sugiki since I was a teenager, and I would recommend him to anyone who wants a positive and almost painless experience. Dr. Sugiki is kind and gentle and does not pressure you into doing out of the ordinary treatment. His hygienists are also very thorough and friendly. He also refers you to only friendly and professional specialists if need be. See him if you want the best dental experience!

Kevin is literally the most gentle dentist I know. He puts all of my family at ease and has been very thorough and thoughtful. Kids always get toys and the staff always follows up with reminders for cleaning. If you need a dentist, look no further.

Had my first appointment with Dr Sugiki’s office today. I’m quite the coward and super anxious when going to the dentist after a bad experience two years ago. The staff helped to calm, relax and reassure me throughout my visit. They were more thorough than any other dentists office I’ve visited in the past. Very friendly, fun and compassionate staff! I could go on for days! Wonderful experience and I recommend anyone looking for a dentist to give them a call!

Have been going to Dr. Sugiki for nearly a decade and wouldn’t dream of changing. He and his staff are warm and caring. Dr. Sugiki is gentle and extremely careful when working on your teeth. When my elderly mother began to lose her teeth and we needed to get dentures, Dr. Sugiki and his staff were so patient and caring. The entire family now goes to him for dental care. He’s professional and keeps up with the latest technology, and makes going to the dentist no longer the dreaded experience it once used to be.

Gulp! I had to go again for a couple cavities. But I always wind up happy… its nicer to walk into a well-​staffed dental office rather than a tiny hole-​in-​the-​wall where you worry if they’ve got the specialists and expensive equipment needed to get the job done.

My wife and I both go go to Dr. Sugiki no complaints at all, the staff is friendly and he works on you carefully and gently. I been going there for 4 years now and had all kinds of different work done. He’s a good to see if you hate going to the dentist because of how calm and relaxed he makes you feel. I have been to 4 or 5 dentists and I must say he does the best work overall.
