This place is located right in the heart of downtown. They have cold noodle options and hit noodle soups. This is healthy Japanese spot. I love their spinach cold soba salad! The mini size was good enough for me! I’m happy there are more healthy options for me in Downtown!

Liked the haole guy’s sweet noodle. Food doesn’t seem to be as good since he left. Four stars when he was working there.

Okay, so ate here for lunch when it first opened and the ramen was okay. At least if you’re craving ramen, there’s a place to go in the downtown area. One year later they have added salads, etc to go. So, sometime in late August tried the California DX pack, which comes with side spinach salad and 6 pcs of brown rice sushi, california and avocado I think. It was tasty, fresh, and filling, a good departure from my regular fare of fried meats. This past week, I tried the cold spinach soba, which statisfied my noodle craving for the day, it came with shiso leaf, wakame, fish cake, and an egg. So, she has daily specials, didn’t notate them down. Oh, yeah you also get free iced tea.

Very disappointed about this place. There is potential but it needs drastic changes. Definitely not a place I would put a sign saying«Organic Japanese food». Maybe I should start with a positive note, the salad boxes already pre-made look decent, also there is free iced tea. Now, about the food, I have no idea what is organic there. I am extremely disappointed of the quality of the meat. I had the chicken lunch meal and the chicken was probably the worst I have seen in any restaurant. Imagine a very low quality chicken in the worst Chinese restaurant you have been. I could not eat it, I asked my coworkers to try it and none of them like it. It was not fresh at all, the quality of the chicken was gross, very fatty, the texture was gross and it tasted nothing. They should buy organic chicken from Costco, and cook it on a pan or bake it like we all do. Not microwaving disgusting chicken and put it on top of a salad. They also sell a beef lunch place, I will never try it. I will not go back to this place.

Working in downtown offers a lot of choices for lunch. It can make it very difficult to decide what to eat, but I love the variety it offers. I came across this place because my office catered food from here. I liked the food so much that I had to find out where this place was. I found out that it was a small shop in the Remington College building. I’ve always ordered the hayashi ramen(I love cold noodles!) and it always satisfies. It comes with a soy ginger sauce and garnished with sesame seeds, red ginger, thin cucumber slices, thinly cut ham slices, and egg(like the sweet egg that is used for sushi). It’s super tasty and refreshing. The portion size is huge! Very filling. The regular size is $ 9, which is par for the course in downtown. What stood out to me was how much garnishing they have for their noodles. I’m used to having just a sprinkling of garnishing, but for the ham, egg, and cucumbers, they are very generous with these toppings! It makes for a more filling meal. The only downside is that the sauce is salty; when eating the noodles, I can feel my lips start to dry out. It seems to be a one woman shop, so if you don’t grab one of the to-go boxes, then it may take awhile to get your order because the owner will be making it fresh.
