I got the chicken phở, to go. Friendly staff! Fast service. They’ve been at this location just shy of one year.(Cool! Let’s give them a chance.) But… Though napkins were packed for me, there were no utensils(and you know how critical the right spoon is for eating phở!). The broth is in one of those tall, narrow bowls that make it hard for you to eat«soup meals» out of. The broth was piping-hot, the shredded chicken was rubbery and the basil leaves were limp and mottled.(I ended up having to fish out all the chicken pieces.). The sliced onions, lemon wedge and crisp green onions were better, but at $ 8.50/ bowl, they were not enough to make me want to go back. I’m bummed! Other Unilocalers are suggesting the curry. Maybe I will give that a try next time I’m in the area and update this review accordingly.

Bahn mi is pretty good, especially with their special hot sauce. Would prefer to have even more herbs. Service was a little slow, maybe because I was there at an odd hour. They are in the space Ba-Le used to be. This is a to-go place for when you’re in the area and want a quick meal. Outdoor seating outside in the Remington College food court.

Super friendly service and good food for lunch. My faves are the spicy tofu sandwich, spring rolls, and the beef phở. Try to get here early before the lunch rush. The food is worth waiting for though.

This space used to be Occupied by Bale but then next thing ya know they are NOT there and MME Saigon is there. I love Vietnamese food and yesterday wanted something fast and relatively healthy. They have pans of food in the front that you can order ala carte but they didnt’ look that appetizing. They also have Phở and Vietnamese Sandwiches available, but I ordered Summer Rolls with Shrimp($ 4.95). I waited about 10 minutes while they made it in the back.(this might be long for people in a rush for lunch) The rolls themselves were great and I thought a good deal for under $ 5.00 downtown is good. It was tasty and the peanut sauce was Ono. The employees were also nice but seemed a bit disorganized the cashier might have been in training or something. I’ll be back and try something else next time and update the review.

I love this place! The curries are super yummy, and the guy who is typically working the front is very helpful and friendly. He’s also super accommodating if you want to sample a curry, etc. before you decide what to purchase. Whenever I’m in the Remington College area, it is usually because I’m helping out at a nearby business owned by my family members, and there have been several times that one of us will come into the office with takeout lunch from MME Saigon, and they smell and look so good that the rest of us will run over to get the same dishes before they run out. I also like that they have vegetarian options(usually when I’ve gone there’s an eggplant & tofu option, and sometimes a string bean option as well). Definitely check it out if you’re in the area!

Clean, quick, and friendly! Plate lunch options and grab-and-go options. If you get there after about 12:15 the selection is smaller but the portions are larger!
