Kadomatsu Plumbing

Called on Monday, willing to wait till Friday for service. I sent pictures, as requested, on Tuesday and based on the photos I was told there would be plumbers sent out on Friday just to assess the situation. It was also suggested that further consultation be done with my brother because «man better.» Two very nice men came on Friday morning, as arranged, and I was told they would return to the office with their photos and I would be contacted with an estimate. I waited till 1:15 on Monday and called myself. I was told they were declining the job. That’s fine but were they planning to call me to let me know? «Sorry we didn’t call.» So I can’t speak to the job they do but based on the poor follow up I will not be calling them again.

We have purchased a Kenmore Washer & Dryer from Sears @ Pearlridge Center. Since this washer and dryer are the latest-​computerized type and able to sync with iPhone, I never thought I would have any problem. However this new washer makes horrible loud banging noise as it starts the washing cycle. We talked both Sears and Kenmore but they were so irresponsible; The noise is caused by «Water Hummer» problem that is caused by the washer and the faucet, but both Sears and Kenmore says they are not responsible for the noise, it’s plumbing problem, so they can’t fix it.
This «Water Hummer» problem is notorious on Internet. So many people who bought the latest washer with energy saving function have the same problem. But this can be solved by installing «Water Hammer Arrestor» on the faucet that connects to the washer. Sears and Kenmore knew about this problem, but they don’t want to help customers with this problem, and they sell those washer knowing it would cause «Water Hummer» problem! How irresponsible they are…
Anyway, we called all the plumbers in town, and Kadomatsu was the quickest to response, and the only one who could fix this problem; Kadomatsu Plumbing to the rescue!
Today 2 guys from Kadomatsu Plumbing came to our house, Tony & John. There is only small space between the wall and the washer, plus there is a water heater next to the washer, so I didn’t expect any one could fit in the tight space. But they did some incredible acrobatic moves to installed the water arrestor. Now it has much less noise than before, thanks to the arrestor they installed.

This plumbing company is so professional and does an excellent job! Akira is so accommodating and Tony is a great plumber. I called Akira in the morning because of an emergency with my pressure regulator and by the afternoon, Tony had my problem resolved. Very comforting to know that we can depend on Kadomatsu

When I purchased a Toto toilet bowl, I was recommended to have this place install it. I did that and was pleased with how good the plumber was. He was polite, efficient, and finished everything perfectly. He was so good that made the employees of my condo community look slow and inefficient.
About a year later, my mother wanted to buy a toilet bowl. She looked for a plumber and everywhere was charging so much. Delivery fee, elevator fee, and etc. She tried calling this place and found out this place is a lot cheaper.
If anyone asks me who to get the plumbing work done by, I would feel comfortable recommending them.

Came across this listing by accident but as I have used their services about 2 years and a year ago I thought I would write a review.
Was referred to them by a contractor I trust, they mainly do bigger jobs such as Polynesian Cultural Center, etc., but if you are willing to wait a little while they will do home stuff so long as they can fit it in.
I hate plumbing now that I am older and have slightly arthritic hands, although I have plumbed a fair amount in my time.
Workmanship is first class, billing is as quoted, and not afraid to tell you what else needs to be done or not done (tip: cheaper to get it done while they are there). They are not the cheapest but they never try to rip you off and the quality is first class.
The owner speaks very little English as he is from Japan, his foreman speaks a lot more, he to is from Japan; both are very much the «Samurai» type so do not expect chi-​chat, but they do excellent work for which the are justifiably proud.
They employ mainly qualified plumbers who are not apprentices. This is very important as many of the local «Big Advertiser» plumbers employ inexperienced apprentices and spend their dollars on advertising, my experience with these «Advertising» plumbers has been nightmarish. I was teaching them.
One word of caution (for men only) if you are the jealous type or do not trust your partner you might want to be home when they come as my wife stated the qualified plumbers are very handsome and charming, and she is very picky, and yes I used to be ok looking 30 years ago, or so I am told, my wife is still very attractive and slim.
So now I have had to install secret web cams all over the house, an added cost you gentlemen may wish to consider!
