Ivan’s Psycles

I’ve finally found my motorcycle mechanic for Oahu! Ivan is knowledgeable, personable, and down to earth. He works on all types of bikes; sport, cruiser, touring… doesn’t matter. I took my Concours 14 in today to get tires after calling on Thursday to set up the appointment (a quick interval in my book). This shop also has a fast turn-​around time (compared to the lower quality shops like Cycle City). In addition to the tire swap Ivan also tightened some stuff on the front end and gave the bike a once over check as well as several test rides to make sure there weren’t any issues. Customer service, scheduling, workmanship, and pricing were all outstanding.
Bottom line: If you are currently going to any of the dealerships on the island for your non-​warranty bike work, STOP IMMEDIATELY and head to Ivan’s!
A couple of things to keep in mind:
— The shop itself is a little hard to find if you’ve never been there before… a sort of diamond in the rough. From the street it is set in a bit and you can’t really see the sign. From the street (or on Google Maps) you’ll see a building with a red and white «Space Available» sign and a white building next to it, with a driveway in between them. Head down this driveway and Ivan’s will be on the right.
— Ivan’s doesn’t sell or order parts, so it’s up to you to shop around online or elsewhere for what you need. If you are getting parts shipped you can have them delivered to Ivan’s, so be sure to grab a card or write down the address.

Awesome place my friend Andy Bumatai mentioned that I should bring my Motorbike to change my seals. Ivan also adjusted my chain for free. Awesome place!

Brought in my ninja 300 for a check up and safety check. Ivan is very busy but accommodated me. The shop is very clean and tidy, surprising because it is a repair shop. Left my bike and picked it up a few hours later. I was pleased with the service.

The gems are always hidden tucked away in holes in the wall… and this is no exception. Drive too fast down Mokauea and you’ll miss it, but if you have to circle back around you can stop at Alicia’s Market for some ono kine grinds.
I was referred to Ivan by a mutual friend after waiting months for another independent shop to start working on my bike. I got fed up, picked up the parts from the shop and brought it to Ivan. Ivan finished it in one day! Ivan truly represents the spirit of aloha — braddah is super positive and runs a class-​act business. I would recommend Ivan and his team to anyone, and while my job only entailed a seat relocation kit installation, I will go back when I start building my custom. Big big mahalos Ivan and team!
