Our mission is to spread the spirit of Aloha around the world with gourmet cookies made in Hawaii. Each of our cookies is baked fresh daily, and made with the finest ingredients and natural Hawaiian flavors individually wrapped to maintain its delicious oven-​fresh quality. From the very beginning, our premium shortbread cookies have been produced using only the finest and freshest ingredients. The attention to detail is evident in each cookie with the use of natural Hawaiian, hand-​placed with care flavors, including 100% Kona coffee, macadamia nuts, lilikoi, mango, and pineapple to add a true taste of the islands and create the perfect cookie. Other cookies are hand-​dipped in premium Guittard white chocolate, milk chocolate, or decadent dark chocolate. Each cookie is individually wrapped to preserve its crisp, oven-​baked freshness and delivered to our stores daily. Our trademarked pineapple shape evokes the essence of Hawaii, and the international symbol for hospitality.

History

Established in 1996.

Successful entrepreneurs, Keith and Janet Sung, decide to expand their product line. They notice that every island had their own gourmet cookie line except Honolulu.

During an 18-​month quest to produce the perfect cookie, Sung searched the world to find the right equipment and ingredients, then planed and constructed the ideal custom bakery. He perfected his recipe, using a precise blend of premium ingredients, resulting in the finest shortbread cookie in the Islands. The crowning touch is the distinctive pineapple shape which reinforces its Hawaiian heritage. Honolulu Cookie Company’s first four flavors are selected, and simple, yet sophisticated packaging is developed to appeal to both the local and tourist market seeking a distinctive Hawaiian gift.

We now offer 15 delicious flavors and have expanded to 12 retail store locations on Oahu and Maui.

Chocolate covered kona coffee shortbreads… get them.
Their other selections of pineapple shaped shortbreads are also good, I would also recommend the chocolates chocolate chip, or chocolate covered ones. Can you tell I’m a chocolate fan?
With locations ALL over (even in the airport) it’s convenient to get your cookie fix or gifts for friends. I loved the make your own cookie box so you can an assortment to your liking.

Dang these little cookies are addicting. .. seriously super addicting.
Exactly why you may ask?
Well then, allow me to explain:
They’re delightfully bite sized, pineapple shaped, buttery smooth short bread cookies: Good.
There are a variety of very distinct Hawaiian flavors like Kona coffee, Lilikoi, and mango macadamia just to name a few: Even Better.
Some are even dipped in either white, milk, or dark Chocolate: Absolute Genius.
Are they pricier than your average cookie?
You bet your coconuts they are.
But they are absolutely worth a try. .. or two. .. or three.. . or four. .. just make it an even dozen.
For those who know, you know what I’m saying.
For those who don’t, you can order them online (unless you’re in Hawaii or Vegas and are fortunate enough to get them live and direct).

I was really excited to go in there to buy some gift for my business partners. Everyone was tended to except me. No one said «hello» nor offered any samples. I thought I’d wait for a minute or two until an employee offers me some help. I was standing looking at this different boxes of cookies on the right hand side of the store waiting for two employee to help me since they were right next to me. No word whatsoever, but they did carry on a pretty good conversation with one another. Walked out and now going to Big Island Cookie instead. We might not dress like tourist but we can afford your cookies… SMDH! Local customers are what makes your business run when tourism is down…

A great alternative to boxes of chocolate covered macadamia nuts. Everybody I know are cookie monsters and Honolulu Cookie Co. offers a great variety for everyone (except those allergic to nuts, I think). The souvenir tins are nicely designed and I like the idea of making your own cookie box in various sizes, too. Today we spent over $ 50, so we received a free tote and an 8-​pack of cookies wrapped in a bag. I’m sure my friends on the mainland will enjoy these in the care packages I will be sending to them!

They are everywhere!
During our trip to Hawaii, we had the pleasure of coming across this wonderful cookie store. There is one at almost every mall and all around the Waikiki Beach area.
These cookies are on the pricier side, but for good reason. They are delicious! Employees are super friendly and helpful. They wrapped our goodies neatly and gave us a bunch of extra bags. If you buy a certain amount of things, they even throw in free goodies.
I love that they offer free sample of all their cookies. My faves are the Kona Coffee and Dark Chocolate Dipped ones. The cookies are buttery, slightly sweet, flavorful, and have a bite to them. They sell plenty of boxed cookies that come in all sizes. Perfect for gift giving. They also sell individual cookies as well, incase you don’t want to buy boxes of cookies. I appreciate that their boxed cookies are all individually wrapped, which is perfect if you want to share with loved ones. I bought a bunch of boxes and split them up to give to friends and family.
I highly recommend trying these cookies out.

Honolulu Cookie Company is a Hawaiian bakery chain that specializes in premium shortbread cookie gift products. The offerings here differ from The Cookie Corner, but similar to Big Island Candies in that all of the cookie offerings here come prepackaged, albeit in different types of packaging in all shapes and sizes.
While not as ubiquitous as ABC Stores, there are numerous store locations in Waikiki. Particularly on Kalakaua Avenue, in which there are four shops alone. Pretty much one on every block.
I visited the location at the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach hotel. It is located at street side rather than within the property. The shop is the size of a boutique store. Although the products come prepackaged, you can try samples before buying.
I am very familiar with the cookies already. My parents would receive these cookies as gifts from friends and co-​workers. And I had a cousin who used these cookies boxed up as wedding reception favors.
The shortbread cookies are excellent. They are all shaped in the form of a pineapple and have a crunchy/​crispy texture. My favorite cookie flavors of theirs are the ones dipped in chocolate. The Kona coffee cookie is another interesting variety worth a try. They also have fruit flavors like pineapple macadamia and lilikoi mango which are unique because the cookie middle has a piece of fruit gummy.
The cookies are pricey with the bigger boxes having a lower unit price per cookie. Bought a variety fruit and chocolate medium cookie box ($ 12.95) here with 18 cookies for under $ 14 after tax.
If you are looking for a tasty gift to bring back from the islands, getting some cookies from Honolulu Cookie Company is a great idea.

I can never end my trip here in Oahu without my cookies!
This place never disappoints. It is about a $ 1 a cookie. but it is so darn good. Not too sweet nor too anything. it is just perfect!
I really like the dark chocolate with chocolate shortcake, the kona coffee is excellent, and white chocolate dipped is also good. You pretty much can’t go wrong with any of the flavors they offer.

Good cookies! The best part is that they let you sample most every flavor and the prices of gift boxes are actually quite reasonable.
Forget those stupid keychains and Aloha tshirts for your friends and family who’re suffering in 100 degree weather back home, get them what they really want… COOKIES!

When my wife and I stayed in the villas at turtle bay in Oahu, we had a box of cookies on our bed as a welcome.
We were tired from our flight, hungry as can be, so naturally we had some of these cookies. I can’t really describe how the cookies were, but if I were to describe them, I’d say heaven.
They were crispy on the outside but were creamy at the same time and they all have the shape of pineapples. Cliché and so awesome
I was obviously disappointed when the cookies were gone because they were so good but we were sure we’d never find them again.
When we continued our honeymoon to honolulu, we were walking along the main strip on Waikiki beach when the cookie smell filled the street. In true Toucan Sam style, we followed our noses and lo and behold, we saw the honolulu cookie company store.
Friendly staff delicious cookies and even better gifts for our friends and relatives back home.
Can’t wait to get some soon. I know you can buy online, but just in case, I might just have to return in person

Honestly, I haven’t actually bought any cookies there, but they do have sample cookies for the public’s delight. The sample cookies that they had didn’t have very much variance in taste and I thought they were pretty dry. It could just be that they were old because they are sample cookies, but I really didn’t think that it was as great as a lot of people have hyped it up to be.

These shortbread cookies are great! The pineapple shape is unique and their line of flavors are tasty. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because prices are on the higher end and I wish buying this didn’t feel so touristy.
The mini chocolate chip cookies that come in the round plastic «tin» are a perfect snack! Their products also made a great gift item to take back to the office for people to try.
The stores are very nice, with tons of selection and FREE SAMPLES! Yay! Taste a few to see what you like before you commit to an entire box.

Amazingly delicious cookies! The girls who work here are very friendly and helpful! I also like how they have a «sample bar» so you can taste test the cookies which helps you decide which cookies you want to buy. I recommend the «dark chocolate macadamia» cookies. They’re located conveniently near several hotels/​resorts, including the Outrigger Waikiki which is connected to the strip mall which houses this particular Honolulu Cookie Co store. My hotel, the Moana Surfrider, is located just several yards away too — I’m still not sure if that’s a good thing or not, I’ll let you know 10lbs later. But I’ll definitely be stopping by again before I catch my plane home. I’ll be sharing my fatness with family back home.
