Hawaii Professional School of Bartending

I cannot sing enough accolades for this school. Cyndy, was a delight to work with — very patient and caring with students. Dave, the instructor was a class act. I learned so much from him and felt very excited about the subject matter I was learning. He took the extra time to share funny anecdotes and pearls of advice to provide a high level of showmanship to patrons.
I chose Hawaii Professional School of Bartending because I appreciated Cyndy’s candor and knew upon seeing the professional rig that this was the place to go. If you want to see an organization that walks the walk, then it doesn’t get more real than training in an actual HIGH VOLUME bar! I can assure you, none of the other (much higher priced) bartending schools can boast putting their money where their mouth is by actually running a successful operation.
The course content was thorough and required that I actually study (you get what you put in) at the end of the course I was hired into a military bar and have really enjoyed the experience thus far. The price of the course is far outweighed by the return of investment — even if one lands a starter gig as a barback.
Bartending is a fun experience that is highly under-​rated. I keep recommending this school to friends and others who will listen. Bartending is not my number one gig, but it has opened the doors of opportunity and a passport to travel anywhere that people drink. Fun, huh?

Had a great experience in the «classroom,» which is actually a real working bar inside Nashville Waikiki (cool spot!). The class was small and our instructor, Rory, really knew his stuff. A great introduction to bartending for someone with absolutely no experience, but I have a feeling people with some experience could benefit also. If you’re interested in bartending, this is a great place to start.
