I used to come here all the time for breakfast. The service is and has always been terrible! The food is okaaay. I have definitely had better.
I stopped coming here a couple years ago because the parking sucks and the staff are not friendly at all. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. Even McDonald’s may be better!
I would tell everybody to stay away!

I know people have their own experiences at different places but mines has always been good here! Honestly, I haven’t gone here for a while! I’m talking over 5 years! To me, it hasn’t changed! Great food and OMG chow fun! I love the fact that this plate lunch place gives MF’n CHOW FUN with your order! Mochiko chicken is BOMB and always has been! According to my friend… don’t forget the Teri fries! They used to have slush but now have icee! No harm no foul. I just read that they will be closing soon. Too bad and will be missed… especially coming from HK!

found out today that this location will be closing on aug 20^th 2011.

I come here maybe once a year. I just forget that there is a lower level to Market City. I was actually going to Duck Lee but they were still closed. The service was friendly and the chicken katsu tasted like it did 15 years ago. The food was plenny and I couldnt finish the whole thing.

Chicken katsu is mean

I’ve been going there for over 10 years. But recently there portion sizes are ALOT smaller. I normally only get the chicken katsu so I’m familiar with the portions. But this time it was really sad. My friend ordered the mini and it was barely enough for a small kid to eat. Prices gone up and portions gone down. This is prolly the last time I go there ever.

Definitely would not go again. I waited something like 20 – 30 minutes for my order and the place was NOT packed at all. I thought this was fast food. We are talking about the dinner rush of 7pm and the service was incredibly slow.
The cashier who took my order was ok but then she got super grumpy by the time I picked up my order. She just did not want to be there. I understand that the job sucks but at least fake it like most people. There is only 1 woman in the kitchen and she takes her sweet, sweet time getting the orders ready, I’m like, hello, it is dinner time, get a move on.
Anyway, the food was pretty bad. I got a teri burger with fries. I could hear and see her microwaving the teri patty. Then the fries had no salt at all and tasted pretty stale. My husband got the hamburger mini and he said it was just ok.

Came here for breakfast with a friend and was so disgusted with the fork, plate, cups and everything that I couldn’t eat anything! And what the hell there was some object in my food… I’M NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN!

Pros:
Saimin was good for fast food, tasty soup and curly skinny noodles
Parking
Clean
AC on a hot day
Loco moco had two eggs and had large portions
Cons:
Loco moco gravy wasn’t good
They had a steady flow of people. Convenient to have fast food in that area. Don’t really care for the cup style of holding salads. Mac is so so but chow fun is good.

Teri burger and fries. Soggy, crinkle cut fries. Teri burger: one beef patty hopped up with bread crumbs to spread thin the beef with minimal teri sauce on it served on a bun. I have definitely tasted better. Not writing home about this, but am writing to you so you don’t make the same mistake I did.

Quality going downhill. Had the standard chicken katsu plate, as usual had to ask for extra sauce as the sauce container is so tiny. They also cut back on the quantity of chicken, maybe my imagination but the Beretania location is better.
