Kaiser Permanente Honolulu Clinic has a Farmer’s Market every Thursday, morning through lunchtime. Although the small footprint limits the number of participating vendors, there is always an assortment of goods and services to buy here, and there seems to be some sort of rotation that allows for ever-changing variety. There is one«anchor» vendor always here offering a decent assortment of fresh fruits and vegetables for a reasonable price. The quality is pretty good, and they often give away something with your purchase, like ripe bananas that aren’t selling fast enough. Besides the veggie stand, there are vendors selling food at lunchtime(again, they change on a regular basis). I’ve seen Indian food, Middle Eastern, vegetarian, Asian, Mexican, chili, etc. There is usually a massage therapist offering chair massage, $ 10 for 10 minutes. She is very good. I’ve also seen vendors here selling honey, baked goods, sun hats, jewelry, plants, etc. You never know what you’ll find on any given day. Just go and check it out!(Remember to bring cash since most of the vendors don’t take credit cards.) If you’re a Kaiser member, you might also want to check out the OTC drugs in the pharmacy area while you’re here as the prices are pretty good. If you are driving here, you can park in metered stalls on the street or use their on-site parking garage. If you stay under 30 minutes, there is no charge; beyond that it is a $ 3 flat rate. A very small set up located at the entrance to Kaiser Permanente Honolulu on Fridays. There is a stand for bread, a vegetable stand, one for organic cookies and 2 others located within the lobby of Kaiser: one for some healthy drinks and another for veggie chili.
