Experience Hawaii

My wife and I booked the North Shore Full-​Day Hiking Adventure tour through Experience Hawaii via the
site. I was a little confused in thinking the tour included a 7-​mile ATV ride, apparently ATV meant a AWD Van. As for the hike itself, this is as far off the beaten path as 99.9% of people will ever go in their life. The trail we took often looked unused and even though only 3 miles long it does indeed take a full 2 hours to the end and another 2 hours back after lunch. We crossed streams up to waist deep 12 times each way. Some parts of the trail were merely 2-​feet wide with a steep drop-​off on one side and hill on the other. The guide told us that less then ½ the hikers make it to the end and I can see why. I would rate the hike as advanced and you need to be in very good shape and a bit fearless. Luckily it was just us plus the guide and he was very helpful throughout. The lunch was good, 2 large spring rolls with chicken/​sprouts/​lettuce and a peanut sauce.
I would recommend this hike for the adventurous 13 – 45 year olds only.

ALOHA! After quite a long time of wanting to visit Hawaii, I finally had my chance when a buddy of mine decided to get married on the beautiful island of Oahu. I flew in with friends and spent the first few days doing a lot of the usual wedding stuff. Once all of that died down and most of my friends flew back home, I had a few days to myself and explore the island.
This lead me to Experience Hawaii. After speaking with Danielle, she analyzed my interests and came up with a plan of action. With her help, I booked an all-​day Circle Island Tour, as well as a day-​trip to the Polynesian Cultural Center. The Circle Island Tour covered almost everything I wanted to do with my short time on the island. I could have used a bit more time at each stop, but I understood the need to keep a tight schedule, especially since we were driving around to the most popular and worthwhile sights to see.
My experience at the Polynesian Cultural Center was amazing as well, as it really piqued my interest in Polynesian culture and traditions. This was also an all-​day tour that included lunch, a luau and tickets to their award winning night show. I really had my fill of culture and I was able to meet and make new friends. Apart from the tours I had booked, Danielle also suggested some local spots and activities that I should hit up to experience the ‘local’ side of Oahu. I was even mistaken as a local by just walking around on my daily ventures.
I would 100% utilize Experience Hawaii on my next visit and urge everyone to do the same. It was a fantastic trip and the team there enhanced my entire experience. Mahalo nui loa!

Experience Hawaii was great to work with! I’ve been in Honolulu for six months but my sister was coming to visit and wanted to do a luau and go see Pearl Harbor. I wasn’t able to find good tickets on my own (since I didn’t have much time before she came to book) and also didn’t really want to do a Waikiki luau as I’d done that before.
Experience Hawaii was not only able to arrange tickets for us on a ½ day city tour, that included Pearl Harbor, but also recommended Chief’s Luau and helped us get great tickets. Chief’s Luau was in a beautiful outdoor venue and put on a amazing show. There were lots of activities that you could do before the dinner/​show started and the show was really, really good. It was the perfect fit for us as we were staying in Kailua so an easy drive there and back.
Even though I’ve lived in Hawaii a while, it was so nice to have Danielle’s help recommending a few good options of things to do and I look forward to working with them again the next time I have visitors to the Island. :)
