Diamond Parking Service

Parked at the Dillingham Foodland parking lot. Was in Foodland less than 10 minutes and got a ticket from Diamond Parking for unauthorized vehicle. What, they don’t want people shopping at Foodland now?

I recently parked in a lot, got a ticket from Diamond Parking’s machine, and placed it on my dash. When I returned, I found a $ 40 ticket on my car because I had stayed «overtime» (the machine told me it was a «free parking» ticket because I was going to a nearby business). When I called to appeal the ticket, I was told I «cannot appeal». This company is setting itself up for a lawsuit.
And no, I’m not paying.

Parked at a lot by Orange Groove to run across the street for Youngs Kalbee in Aiea. Got there a little before 12 or at 12 to be exact. Stalls are marked for 2 hours so we figured we’ll be in and out for lunch way before then. Had lunch and was out by 1, come back to find a parking ticket on a friends car, my cousins car and on my mines. Time of ticket (12:08) Are you serious? A $ 40 ticket just for parking more than 8 minutes? I know it’s a commercial lot but geeez no loyalty or honoring of the 2 hours? I think the security nit pick to create work for themselves. I am not paying a $ 40 parking ticket for having my vehicle parked there for 8 minutes.

You pay monthly for parking at the Ala Wai harbor but have little warning when you are frorced to move your car for some event. Yes, it is a stipulation on the contract, however it doesn’t seem quite right that you pay for long term parking and then have to move on what seems like a moment’s notice. I have to wonder if it that is really legal, in spite of the terms of the contract.

Customer Service is terrible. Ladies at desk and on the phone always have attitude. I pay monthly for a Reserved parking spot for my tour van. Today all the tour vans got notices that we might not be able to park there because they have rented out the parking garage to valet 250 cars for an event at Luxury Row. Basically double booking our Reserved, Pre-​Paid stalls.

Parked at Longs Drug but ran across the street for an errand. Bought groceries at Longs and came out to find a $ 40 «parking fee» on my car from Diamond Parking. Watch out, these guys are anti-​business opportunistic vultures in the lots they control.

One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. NEVER use this company. I pay regular amount to park in lot in Waikiki, and buses decide to print out their own Reserved ²⁴⁄₇ sign and take up 3 spots each for no reason. I call the company and they tell me to keep the peace with the bus drivers, when all I have done is park in my respective spots. The bus drivers have yelled at me several times for parking.
CLEAR preferential treatment to locals. completely rude and condescending.

NEVER park this place again. They want to rob you. I paid $ 12 for parking overnight parking when no attendant present. Carefully read through the parking instruction but still get a $ 40 dollar ticket for improper payment. I think this place is here to rob tourist’s money!

Horrible front office lady — totally rude and condescending
Horrible monthly parking policy. First month pay at office.
Subsequent months mail payment to Seattle office — no exceptions.

Use their lot every day (have pile of old tickets on dash board)
Paid of all day, in and out .
Came back to drop something off, did not pull into stall
SOme old lady came running up to me and asking me what was I doing and why was I unloading my things. She would not let me get a word in, just telling me that i had to stop doing what I was doing.(She told me she worked for Diamond Parking Service)
When she asked me where i was taking the items I was unloading to, I told her next store. Then she told me that I should park next store.
What kind of company turns away business?
After trying to explain that We park here (and pay) everyday and saw that she would not listen,(or see that I had already paid)
I just drove away
