This isn’t your average over-priced airport gift shop, it’s your above average over-priced airport gift shop! On our recent trip home to Hawaii, my daughter decided to tell me minutes before we were to leave for the airport that she wanted a snow globe. So I told her we’d grab one at the airport if we could find one there. When we got there, we went to DFS and man did they have snowglobes. and everything else. They actually had about 15 snowglobes to choose from. All at a hefty price of $ 17 of course. And they looked like the ones you can grab for about $ 5 at the swap meet or Walmart. But oh well, the things we do for our keiki. Lol. Anyway, it was actually a bad idea going in there because we ended up getting shirts that had such cute designs, we couldn’t pass up. Oh man. But I will say that they have an awesome selection of items, especially Hawaii souvenirs and must-haves. They even wrapped up her snowglobe in bubble wrap and a box. Aww.

A great place to shop unless you don’t have an international boarding pass. All the ultra pricey items, from liquor to handbags and watches are available here at decent prices compared to the malls. I noticed everyone paying had large sums of cash! You must remember that cash is King, no matter where you are! The DUTY Free Shops are perfectly located right off the main gates for passengers either coming into or out of town.

I was able to score the O.G. Nutella. Since I am an American, I can only get overpriced cookies and food. The Nutella was 30% off and came out to $ 5…so I purchased 2 and plan on taste testing the difference. Other than that, I can’t get no luxury goods, nor tobacco, nor booze… BOOO! Interestingly enough, the booze was not always a good price. I took some pictures of some expensive Chinese smokes for your viewing pleasure.

I once went here, looking at the cosmetics. Then a bunch of salesladies were talking about me in another language, obviously thinking I didn’t speak it. One of them was talking about me looking around the store. The other one said to leave me alone. Very rude.

I stopped in prior to boarding my flight back to Vegas. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I bought some Honolulu shortbread cookies as well as dome Kuo coffee to take home. The prices were slightly higher than at the ABC store, so maybe buy your items before coming to the airport. I personally expected the slight price hike at the airport so I didn’t detour me from shopping. The staff checked me out quickly.

Love love love all duty free shops inside airports since i am always traveling international. Cheap products and no tax? score! The Sales associates inside are cool and they don’t really bug you unless you look really confused and need help. Love how they are usually old japanese ladies that work here and are cool to talk to. I love joking around with them and they usually joke back and laugh.
