Cat Wong Studio provides quality singing & voice instruction, mentoring, and coaching to people of all ages, levels, and musical styles.

We invite: first-​timers (no prior vocal training), karaōke die-​hards, musicians, seasoned performers, and those who have a passion or curiosity for music who want to become more skilled, confident, or just amazingly good singers. Period. The studio will assist you to find your most powerful singing voice. Cat also coaches people on improving public speaking and voice-​over.

In many cases, Cat has coached people for last-​minute auditions in musical theater, karaōke competitions, worship group ensembles, American Idol, X-​Factor, & The Voice auditions.

History

Established in 2005.

Cat Wong Studio opened its downtown location at 925 Bethel Street (McCandless Building) in 2012. From 2005 – 2012, clients were served at another location in downtown.

Business Owner

Cat Wong has had extensive training (11 years) for singers, working with Master Instructors in Voice and formerly a Speech-​Level Singing (SLS) instructor.

Cat’s vision is to share her passion for music and education to guide others to their greatest potential. With a B.A. in Communication Studies and 25 years of on-​and-​off performing in California and Hawaii, she seeks to utilize her talents consulting bands & family ensembles, coaching voice-​over professionals, talent show contestants, and has trained and worked with Sony Japan recording artists. Cat has also been Master of Ceremony at events including Remington College graduations and co-​hosted the Miss Hawaii United States pageant. She has done voice-​over work and sung at many private engagements.

Since 2005, she has provided excellence and care to clients who seek to improve technical and performative aspects of singing, for auditions, in theater, open mics, karaōke, commercial work, or private engagements.
