History
Established in 1996.
After being in private practice in the Boca Raton area since 1983, Dr. Newman decided to open a second Optometric office in 1996 in the Hollywood area. The practice grew so rapidly, that in 2004, Dr. Newman sold his practice in Boca Raton, so that he could devote full time to the Hollywood location.

Dr. Michael Newman is a Board Certified Optometric Physician with over 33 years of experience in private practice in all aspects of eyecare. Dr. Newman graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and is a charter member of the American Optometric Association’s section on contact lenses. He is a certified specialist in working with progressive lenses and has been awarded VSP’s certificate of excellence for commitment to high quality care and services. Dr. Newman has been practicing in the Hollywood area since 1996 and has helped thousands of patients with their visual needs. Dr. Newman accepts many vision plans in his office, such as VSP, Humana, Eyemed, Spectera, Advantica, Superior Vision, Davis Vision, Avesis, and more.
