I love the place… and the atmosphere… While I’m not there for chit chat… I just needed more Nag Champa which they had. They have great crystals… The cashier(owner?) was pleasant and she did greet me when I came into the establishment… i will be back…

I was really not impressed with the sales clerk. An older blonde haired lady with a noisy dog. She was cold and truly not interested in her customer. The prices are outrageous. Her approach to business is clearly greed and not spiritual growth for the masses. You can have a very well stocked store. But in the end its the atmosphere, attitude, and the high prices coupled with an unfriendly dog that totally blows the customers OURYOURDOOR!!!

My only real complaint would be that its really hard to see the store. I almost passed it. They don’t open until later in the morning but they did have a lot of stones. The prices are definitely high. The atmosphere was relaxed and quiet and the chic with the pink hair and glasses was helpful.

Neat store with some good items, but the women who work there are so rude. Not a welcoming atmosphere at all. I won’t be going back.

My first impression of this store is the negative energy emanating from one of the employees, if not the owner. Of all the times I’ve been there I don’t think I’ve ever seen her smile or greet anyone in a comfortable, friendly manner. I cannot fathom how someone who runs a store like that can have such a perpetually negative energy. The little dog, however, is very cute and will be happy to see you if you don’t startle it. And there is a younger lady that works there occasionally who is wonderfully friendly and gracious and always offers a smile. As far as selection goes, they have just about everything you would expect in this type of store. Lots of stones, books, jewelry, music, candles, etc. Prices are about what one would find at similar places. It’s just a shame that the overall energy in the store is not more positive.

When I went to my first metaphysical store in the Outer Banks, and I had a great experience, I decided to try one around here. When I came in, I wasn’t greeted and I felt the air was stuffy. After being in the store for 15 minutes, the lady behind the counter finally acknowledged me, but not in a very nice way. There was a family in there, and the little girl was making the lady’s dog bark like crazy. This wasn’t helping my attempt to have a relaxing experience. I got some crystals. At the other store I went to, they had little papers that accompanied each one. In this one, no, and I have already forgotten one of them! When I asked how to use the crystals, she kind of muttered and just seemed overly stress. Not the energy you want to be around when you are trying to clear yours. It could have also been because even with the 1000 signs saying to control your kids and whatever your kid breaks, you pay for it, this mother and father were letting their little girl run wild. I knew a disaster was going to happen(plus the dog barking). Lo and behold, she knocked all this stuff down. This could have been why the lady was overly stressed, but it seems to me she was already that way before that happened. I think I am going to try Terra Christa or one I found in Sterling next time.

A neat little store. This is the first«new-age» store I’ve been in. I bought crystals, a fossil, and some shark teeth for my 3 boys. I like the unique items and there were a lot of things I liked a lot but couldn’t afford to buy. I don’t know what a normal price is for these types of things… I can say I couldn’t afford to go too crazy in here but I wish I could. Several people came in looking for the psychic while I was there. It seemed to be a popular and well-liked store. The 2 young girls working there were very friendly and nice.

I believe that they have a good selection, but their customer service is horrible. If you’re looking for a kind, sensitive atmosphere to shop in, this is not the place.

Lots and lots of rocks and stones! A bit overwhelming for me but the lady working was very nice and answered all my dumb questions. I was disappointed to not find any feng shui items for sale, especially since feng shui consultations are offered. And I even noticed feng shui items appropriately displayed(three-legged frog by the entrance, etc.). :( They have a little of everything… troll beads, tarot cards, books, wind chimes, psychic readings, jewelry, etc., but I’d say their big draw are the stones.

Best store for crystals in the NOVA region. I have no idea what the March 142011 reviewer was talking about in regards to staff attitude and prices. I’ve met everyone who works here and they are all amazing. Prices are also great … Cheaper than a local competitors by far and the quality of their stones and products can’t be beat. Crystalis carries a wide range of stones in a wide range of prices to match the size and quality of the specimens. They also have a great selection of incense and essential oils and beautiful jewelry. They also have psychics doing readings Thursday to Sunday — I’ve seen all of them and have been amazed with each of them. Long story short, this is a great store whether you’re just looking for something pretty, a unique gift, or something with deeper meaning.

Like Josh above, I too find Crystalis to lacking in spiritual warmth. The store is very much geared towards the New Age eclectic more than a serious practitioner of any one particular faith/path. You’ll fine a small collection of tarot cards next to Hindu stickers, Buddhist statuary, and candle magic spell kits. The stone selection is the most that one can expect from such a small amount of space but, having the inclination to find an actual rock shop, I am a lot less inclined to spend more than necessary for tiny specimens. If you’re just looking for a place to pick up a few pieces of new aged kitsch than Crystalis is right for you, but you’re better off getting your serious fix elsewhere.

I’m always disappointed when I walk into Crystalis, which isn’t often due to their terrible hours of operation. They are overly pricey, and honestly, the place feels spiritually void and cold. Not what I want in a new age shop. Their only saving grace is that I have found a few books there that I haven’t noticed elsewhere. If I spent more time online, I’d have found them anyway, but it’s nice to run across them and flip pages in person.

Cute store that is definitely aimed for the New Age segment of our population. I went in looking for a couple particular rocks, and they have a nice variety of stones and beads. If you can’t remember the believed spiritual/healing property of certain gems, they have them all marked appropriately to remind you of their mystical properties. Prices seem very reasonable. They have a small selection of books and tarot cards focused on New Age issues and some on religion/spiritualism. They also have a small but nice selection of nice jewelry. It is obvious they take pride in selecting the pieces for sale. Nice store overall, clean and well-stocked full of a variety of products and trinkets. It is unique in that there aren’t too many stores in the area focused on this«genre».

I’ve been to Crystalis Treasures many times in the past — but it’s been a long time since I’ve been in here — at least seven years. Tara’s review reminded that I should stop in. After lunch at a restaurant in the same retail complex — I stopped in for a visit. I was thinking I might find something to incorporate into the décor of my new home. But no such luck. And after all these years — they still carry a selection of Pocket Dragons!
