Not only was this place the most expensive manicure and pedicure I have ever laid for but it was the worst quality. I was so excited to try this place after the reviews. But I can’t believe this place has high reviews. No customer service or greeting.
Half ass my full service manicure and pedicure terrible paint on both hands and feet. It seriously doesn’t even look like I got anything other then paint and the paint was terrible. Thin and didn’t even get to the edges of my nail beds. I also got French tip on my toes and there is white smear marks I would never go back. So disappointed. Specially for a beach side nail spa. And for sure not worth the money. I wouldn’t even pay 10 for this :(good luck

This place is great! It’s a block from the beach so you enjoy a mani pedi with an ocean breeze. It’s clean and they have great massage chairs. They’re all very friendly and thorough. Tom gave me a great pedicure!

Was looking for a place to get my nails done and stumbled across elegant nails. Rebecca was absolutely great and there was no wait! I will defiantly be back again.

I feel sad writing this because they were so nice but I went in yesterday for a mani/​pedi and immediately after I started feeling a mild tingling sensation in my hands. I shrugged it off, thinking maybe I touched something that had slightly irritated my skin. Forward to the next morning, and I have tiny red bumps all over my hands and starting to develop on my feet! Turns out I got some kind of fungal infection from this place! I was so grossed out. This has never happened to me.
Update: I called the salon this morning and the manager agreed to refund me but asked that I not report them to the county health administrator — which I find highly irresponsible and shady. I don’t know if I can do that because I am not confident they will clean up their salon, and I am scared for the cleanliness of other patrons.
It was inexpensive, but I guess you truly get what you pay for. I’ve been to shadier looking salons in NYC that I’ve never ever had a problem with getting fungus or any type of infection EVER in my history of tens of years of getting manicures and pedicures.

After getting so many manicures and pedicures, I definitely now know the difference between good and bad. This place is awesome at providing service and good quality manicures. I got my nails done last week, and they still look as good as the first day (minus my outgrow).
The only downside is the parking. Which is beyond the salons control.
Would I go here again? Yes.

Overall: place was quick (which is what I was looking for in a new place); had a limited nail polish selection but a decent amount of gel polish; service was mediocre; massage horrible; Polish finish depends on the person (manicure chipped in a couple days but pedicure is still good); chairs were pretty comfy; price was cheaper then what I normally pay but still $ 55 with tip for manicure, pedicure, callus remover & French tip.
I came to this nail spa for the first time a couple weeks ago to get a quick mani pedi. I got a basic spa mani pedi with a French tip on my hands. I wanted to get a French tip because my nails had grown out and I thought it would look nice for New Years.
The girl who did my pedi was great except her massage had no pressure and was not even 5 min. I don’t know if that’s standard time at this spa or not but her pedi was good otherwise. I didn’t catch her name but she was young (20ish) and spoke English very well. When I sat down to do my pedi I put my feet in the water and it was super cold. I let them know and so they drained it and refill it. Still cold. They informed us that the water heater ran out which I shocked since the salon was full and it as New Year’s Eve. Finally the water warmed up and they got it to a nice hot temperature. The time it took for the pedicure was great, like a said the massage was not good and they ran out of paraffin so when the girl went to go get it she had to spend a few minutes’s trying to see if someone else stashed it somewhere. She came back and said that it’s not hot so it would be 15min if I wanted it. I thought again that’s odd cause it was the middle of the day, before a holiday, with a full salon. So I skipped the paraffin and just got regular polish which she did a great job at finishing. She trimmed my nails the right length based off what I told her and she didn’t cut me at all. Huge plus since that’s common lately.
The women who did my manicure was not so good. Like I said my nails are long so I end up filing them myself on a regular basis so they don’t get jagged and uneven. I asked her not to cut them but to file them down a little with square nails and round corners. She didn’t speak very good English so maybe it was a miscommunication but she barely filed them at all and they looked the same as when I came. The manicure portion was ok. She hurt me a couple times but didn’t cut me to where I bled or anything. But the French tip was pretty awful. She got the paint finish even for the most part. There were mild streaks. But the lines to show the French tip were awful. They were completely straight across the nail so it looked like she just drew a straight line then filled in the rest. No contour to my nail at all. It looked really awkward on my nails. Then I had a broken nail on my thumb and she literally painted half the nail to match the white on the other hands. It made my finger looked disfigured. It took me three times to get her to take it down and even though I point out the length I wanted it (the length of the white on my nail tip) she still didn’t get it. I finally just gave up and settled.
If you want a quick mani/​pedi and they aren’t too busy then I would say it’s worth it. I believe the basic was $ 35. They were quick and got you in and out. If your going for a special occasion or a large group of people for a girls event and want great service and your nails/​toes to look great don’t go here.

Had a blast getting a mani and pedi here! Tony is hilarious and kept me laughing. The spa mani and pedi was reasonably priced and they offer gel polish. I’ll definitely be back! Great location for having a girls’ day.

Horrible Service! Went in on my birthday for a fun girls day and they ruined the fun experience. Not only did they lose my limited edition nail polish I brought in to use, they then offered me to take one of the used bottles as a replacement and only gave me $ 7 off. That’s way less then the OPI nail polish I brought in. I was down a fun experience, nail polish and now had uneven nails. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Wouldn’t ever go back.

I’ve been getting mani/​pedis for over 20 years… this is the first time I’ve had my toes cut and bleeding during a pedicure. Ridiculous. Don’t go here.

Excellent service! I had a pedicure done here and the lady that did my nails was very nice and meticulous (very important when it comes to nails). My favorite part is the sugary scrub they include with a basic pedicure. It was definitely relaxing and well worth the $ 20! Such a great deal for the service I got. The only thing is I hope the sugary scrubby massage would last longer because it definitely felt like heaven.

My step-​daughter and I had made a date for pedicures & called a different salon I’ve been to before. Unfortunately, they didn’t do nails on Sundays. We found this place as a back-​up & saw that it had pretty good reviews. I’m so glad we did.
I just got back last week from stomping all over Scandinavia in boots and heavy socks and my poor feet looked like they’d been bludgeoned — blisters, calluses, chipped polish, rough cuticles. UGH. I got the Spa Pedi and my feet actually look pretty again! I’m not sure of the name of the gentleman who did my pedi today, but he was awesome. He was funny and nice and did a brilliant job helping get my feet and toes ladylike, again. In addition to cuticle trimming, nail clipping, filing and buffing, he also did callous removal, scrub, paraffin and a really good calf and food massage! And my polish looks perfect. The whole thing took about 45 minutes start-​finish and was very much worth the $ 39, in my opinion.
I would absolutely go here, again.

I really love this place because the selection of Essie nail polish they have in stock. I’m a really picky person when it comes to nail polish and I only use Essie. I hate when i go to a nail salons and they have those $ 1nail polishes that seem so old, generic and little selection to none.
The staff are so sweet and very careful, detailed and gentle. Plus, you can’t beat being a block away from the beach.

I have to say, this place has grown on me. I think that it’s important to find the right person at this salon, so that you can ensure that you have a good experience. Thus far, I’ve never had a bad experience with Rebecca or Michelle. Because they’re so good, I’m willing to sit and wait for either of them — I usually go during the late afternoon on Saturday or Sunday and have no problem. I haven’t bothered trying to set an appointment (after reading some of the other reviews), but I’ve never had to wait long as a walk-​in.
This last visit, I decided to splurge a little and get the full service mani/​pedi. This includes all of the usual bells and whistles, but they add in paraffin dips for hands and feet, this really good smelling citrus scrub for your legs, extra massage time for arms and legs, with hot stones used on your legs, callous remover, and free nail design. Honestly, it’s not a giant leap from $ 35 to $ 60 if you later end up adding in callous remover and nail designs, and I felt SO GOOD after it was all over.
3.5 stars. Almost a fan.

Two weeks later and my pedicure is still perfectly intact and looks exactly the way they did when I walked out of the salon. I had to write an update because I was so amused by this. Usually, my polish will chip by this time since I always wear shoes that threaten the life of my pedicure. So thanks for painting my toes beautifully, Heidi!
On the flip side, my mom’s fill (done by Rebecca) is not lasting as long as it should. One of her acrylics are about to come off and the polish isn’t as strong as she usually has it. I’d knock a star off but Heidi’s work on me redeemed the salon.
