I really love this place. I get complements on my clothes/bags from here all the time. Please stop in and check it out! Bought some super cute arm warmers today and can’t wait to wear them! Don’t forget to check the sale section, it’s the doorway between the fitting rooms.

Great little store. Everything is very cute, comfortable and well made. The prices can be a bit steep but this is MB. I got a button-down and a hoodie yesterday– 2 for $ 15 !! They were around $ 35 at full price. Great sales right now. I would have tried on more if I had time!

Great little store for new and seasoned Buddhists and Yogi(ni)s — plenty of authentic Tibetan sculptures, and artifacts from multiple traditions. Love going there — shop local!!!

Very cool store, there’s plenty of these type of stores in SF but not in the LA area. I purchased a really cool green turquoise ring for 50 bucks. There was clothes but the jewelry was what I really likes. Lots of co rings and necklaces.

Every staff member in this tiny shop is so friendly and willing to help you pin point exactly what you are looking for. The clothing is all very flowy Tibetan styles that look super comfortable. Lots of things I would wear to yoga class. I was in this shop last month when I was down in Hermosa visiting a friend. I popped in here hoping to find a sweater in case it got colder later that evening. Suffice to say in the middle of September it never did get too cold to necessitate a sweater. I purchased one just in case, which by the way is sitting in my closet having been worn maybe for a total of five minutes. Anyhow, while purchasing my not needed sweater i noticed a glass case filled with semi precious gems. The Gems were in many settings, I was drawn to the rings mostly. The first time I came in her I bought an onyx ring set in pure sterling silver. At $ 40 I could not help but to purchase it. Since my last visit I had been thinking about adding a magnificent amber ring to my ring collection. Specifically A beauty located in the same glass case.
So on this trip back to the beach, I made it a priority to make a stop to buy that Amber ring. I got the last one in my size for the specific finger I wanted it for. Score! I will be back in a few weeks, at which time I will probably add a grand tigers eye ring to the collection as well.

What a fun place to check out. A nice variety of clothing, meditation seats, pendulums, jewelry, and bargain items. I love boutiques like this with an Indian meditative flare and lovely incense in the air. Overall pricing is reasonable too.

Awesome store! I have been on vacation in Hermosa for a week and the first time I drove past this store I knew it was a store for«me» that I must check out! I finally stopped in there today and I am glad that I did. The lady working there is very nice and everything is priced very nicely as well. I have been in many stores like this over the years and I was surprised to see soooo many nicely made/cute clothes at very affordable prices. These types of stores tend to sell the same stuff, but the clothing sold here I have not seen before and was of much higher quality, but at a lesser price. Next time I am in Hermosa I will definitely be back to Yak & Yeti!

After an awesome lunch at New Orleans Cajun & Creole Cuisine around the corner, my friends and I walked around the shops near Pier Avenue. We were initially lured in by the cute hand-knit fingerless gloves outside the store, but as soon as we smelled the mild incense and walked inside, we loved it in here! My buddy Ganesh was represented all through this store in multiple sizes of statues, on textiles, etc. There were lots of cool clothing and accessory items for men and women, in cottons and knits, and some were colorfully tie dyed. My friend is moving into a new house, so we were happy to wander past jewelry, a sitting area near a relaxing-sounding fountain and into the back room where there were racks of clothing, a refreshment area(water, cookies, tea), and lots of textiles(bedspreads, throws, curtains, etc.). They were really friendly and helpful there, unfolding bedspreads to verify size and gve us prices on things we liked. Prices were reasonable too — a nice tie-dyed cotton, hooded shirt that I fully expected to be $ 40+ was only $ 22.95. I foresee me shopping in this store more when my friend moves to town, as it’s walking distance from her new house!

Bohemian meets Tibet… not sure how to explain. There are men and womens clothing, bags, hand made jewelery and incense. An interesting shop… check it out it is just a few doors down from Pier Ave.
