Hercules Tree Service and Landscaping Construction

I LOVE Hercules Tree Service! I had a big tree fall across my driveway during a storm in the middle of the night. It was so loud it woke me. I called Rich and he came out with a crew within an hour. They safely removed the tree making sure to keep it out of my neighbor’s yard, which is below my driveway, and had the mess cleaned up and hauled away in time for me to get out and make it to work on time. I was amazed! Rich and his crew are very professional from start to finish and their fees are fair. I’ve recommended them to friends and anyone who needs tree work!

Rich and his team took out a very old and established walnut tree. Our soil is very shallow so the roots made rolling humps in the lawn. They ground out the stump and chased the roots, then cleaned up the debris and left the yard in excellent shape. Kudos to Rich and his team. We are very pleased. They did an outstanding job removing 4 very tall pine trees from our property. They were on a steep hill leaning towards the house. They took them down with ease and left no evidence of them behind. We were very impressed.

Rich would be great if he would communicate as far as my experience goes. I have been stood up 3 times by Rich in recent past and just as recent as 2 weeks ago when he couldn’t commit to a quote on a fence job. He came took measurements then I never heard from him again, M.I.A. So I called Rich regarding my quote he was apologetic and said that he would drop off the quote in the morning. No call no show. So I reached out again, this time I made it easy for the guy. So I gave him my email address again he was apologetic and assured me that he would email me the quote now and that I was a priority, that was 3 days ago.
If Rich can communicate more clearly and be more clear and realistic with follow ups and commitments he would be 5 stars. Sorry buddy but I had to give you 2 stars. Maybe when you have time you can follow up and try to make it right.

I had used another tree service who i thought was great (initially), but after trying to hire them a second time to complete a job I didnt complete the first time for lack of funds, they advised me their prices went up and they needed to see the job again to give a revised quote. The original quote was from two years prior so i didnt find that unreasonable, but I also called around. I’m SO glad i did. Hercules Tree Service responded WAY faster than Hamilton Tree. In fact, they came and cut down my 4 trees before Hamilton would even come out to give me a revised quote. And the pricing was less than Hamilton as well. I gave five stars for Hamilton after the first time I used them, but now comparing them to Hercules Tree, they do NOT deserve five stars. Hercules Tree blew them out of the park! In cost, timeliness and overall experience. Their customer service is great and they are very quick and responsive.

This was the number 1 greatest experience I have ever encountered. Rich is a true arborist. Extremely professional and personable. They came in under quote, cleaned up my yard and cut some additional dead bushes at no extra charge. In fact he did more than I highly expected. they removed a Liquid Amber and cut my Cypress away from my house. This total job was complete before noon. if you ever want to do business with a hard working professional to take care or your landscaping needs. Look no further, you found your guy!

Great work on our yard! We had a huge Chinese Pistache tree that dropped tons of seeds this winter. Rich and company pruned our tree and cleaned up thoroughly. They also shaped our fruit trees in the back yard. Work was efficient with no hassle.

I had been contemplating getting rid of a gigantic oak in my back yard and was talking it over with my mother one day and decided to just get rid of it. To my surprise I pulled up to my house that same day and my neighbor was having some trees cut down so I approached the guys working he gave me a great quote and took the tree down that same day! They took the tree down super fast and cleaned up old brush that I had a gardener cut to take the weight off a side of the tree! These guys are great!

Fast, professional, and reasonably priced work. I’m very impressed with the work and the clean-​up done when we had to have a tree removed. Even after the chipping was done they cleaned the blow over off the street. I’m scheduling them to help with our other trees. So glad I found a service as efficient and easy to work with as Hercules Tree & Landscaping.

I’ve worked with this company twice and have nothing but good things to say! The receptionist is kind and responsive. The owner, Rich, is also kind and works within your budget without trying to convince you to do more. He’s drafted a few different designs for my front landscape because of my strict budget — all without a fuss!
Project #1: Removed a huge sycamore tree and large juniper bush from my front yard, removed cypress bushes and trimmed an ugly overgrown pitisporum tree that my neighbor let over grown and crowd my property. All done quickly and efficiently. NO GAUGING THE CLOCK!
Project #2: Removed that damn Pitisporum (bee infested) tree! (Yay!) and a few more ugly juniper bushes. He and his associate were in and out in a flash… It’s amazing how fast they work!
We’re ready for project #3 and guess who’s gonna get my business? Thanks for the good work and great service.

I hired Hercules Tree Service to clean up 2 large trees we had cut down in our front yard. The receptionist was extremely personable and helpful. The owner came out the next day to give me an estimate and fit me into his schedule the same week. He showed up on time and did a great job with the clean up. He has a wood chipper and can also grind stumps. Also, his communication skills are great, which is a must for me.

My orange tree and rose bushes were in dire need of proper pruning. I contacted Rich and he responded quickly. He was even flexible enough to make an evening appointment for an estimate. Once the agreement was made, he and another gardener showed up on time and immediately got to work. Within a couple of hours the work was completed. My tree and rose bushes were looking good! I couldn’t have been happier. In addition, the price was right. Rich is a local guy in Hercules and appears to run a honest business. I hope he’s willing to travel since I moved because I would sure like to retain his services.
