C&C Engagements, Inc.

We used C&C for day of services: They helped us setup the Ceremony, Happy Hour and Reception rooms, which they did marvelously, with a nice attention to detail (the DJ helped as did the hotel wedding coordinator, but that’s for a different review.) When my parents told them that something wasn’t setup correctly, they fixed it quickly with no complaints. At the end of the night, everything was packed up VERY nicely (probably nicer than we had originally packed it) and deposited in our suite. They had some nice ideas leading up to the wedding, but nothing revolutionary (we had a whacky wedding, so they didn’t have much chance to make suggestions.)
Why not 5 stars? Well, communication with C&C felt a little rough at the beginning (and VERY rough with my Fiancé.) The main problem was this: C&C basically needs to know all of your Day of Details so they can fix any problems and so they know what you want without having to bug you. BUT: If your details aren’t fully ironed out, then it creates a huge communication nightmare: The couple is talking to C&C and Vendors, C&C is talking to Vendors directly, and Vendors are replying to the couple directly. This basically doubled the amount of communication, until my fiancé demanded that everyone CC everyone else on every email. (Thus, by the end of the week C&C stood for CARBON COPY. ZING!) Finally, it sometimes took C&C some time to respond, which is not surprising given that this isn’t their full time job. But, this slower response sometimes made it easier for us to talk to vendors directly, which made communication funky again.
So, if you’ve got your wedding FULLY planned out and not changing and just gave a complete packet to C&C they’d do an amazing job on the day of. Or, if you involve them very early (by using a complete package), they’d probably do a pretty good job though you’d have to figure out communication early if you’re very hands on. If you work with them kind of half way through, just make to communicate fully.
The day turned out beautifully thanks in part to the efforts of C&C. But, the weeks before would have been more beautiful with better communication.

Courtney and Tina are absolutely wonderful to work with. They listened to what we wanted and also followed up with great suggestions. We hired them to be the day of coordinators. We had a meeting with them about a month before the wedding to go over the timeline and details. We also had several emails going back and forth, and communication was very easy going. They got back to us very quickly. We couldn’t be happier with the way that our wedding day turned out. Everything went smoothly and followed the timeline. Our instructions for setting up the ceremony and reception areas were followed exactly and it all looked beautiful. Even if there were any problems that came up that day I didn’t know about them! I didn’t have to think about anything except enjoy the day. Save yourself the stress and hire them for your wedding. Thank you ladies for coordinating our wedding day to perfection!

Before I move forward with my review of C&C Engagements, I must preface by saying that never in a million years did I think I would need to hire a wedding coordinator for my big day. I always thought that there would be no need for one (or in this case, two!) coordinators because between bridesmaids, several friends and family members to help out with logistics, there would be plenty of hands to help with tasks on the wedding day. Thank goodness I came to my senses and hired C&C!
From the very beginning, Courtney & Tina have been two lifesavers — whether it’s coming up with various improvements to my original ideas, reminding me of venue specifics, timeline issues, or programming details they have proved to be an invaluable part of my wedding day. They are extremely prompt, thorough, fair, professional, and a joy to work with. On the day of the wedding, both Courtney and Tina arrived on time to help with the venue setup (which they managed to do in no time at all — these ladies are fast!) and acted as great liaisons between the emcee, venue, band, DJ, and even our midnight snack vendor. There was not one facet of the wedding that was left to chance — they worked extremely hard to make sure I had the wedding that I had envisioned.
I can honestly say that there was not one detail that I worried about on the day of the wedding because of them. It goes without saying that they helped make my wedding so much more memorable and took a huge weight off my shoulders. I really could not have imagined going through the day without them!
Brides (and Grooms!) take note — believe me, for every detail that you think you’ve covered for your wedding, chances are there’s another 10 you didn’t think of. Do yourself a favor and hire this dynamic duo — they will not let you down!

We’d be lost without C&C Engagements! Courtney and Christina, «C&C», made our wedding planning and day of stress-​free as possible. We gave them a spending budget (super tight btw) and made sure we stuck with the limit.
They certainly have their way of making your event visions possible, sometimes ever better! Communication is impeccable, they really listen to you. Very professional with communicating with vendors. They will search high and low for you to get what you need (or want). We appreciated the quick and thorough correspondances during the planning; always keeping you in the loop and on schedule.
Their creativity can be mind blowing, you know you’re on certain budget and can’t afford certain things, well, C&C can come up with a better (sometimes even cheaper) alternative.
ON the day of, our wedding went as flawlessly as possible. C&C are people you can trust to plan, organize, and deliver the wedding of your dreams… while making sure everyone has a good time! They are truly professional, friendly, hard working, and organized. They got the job done for us with amazing results!

What a pleasure to work with theses ladies! C&C… Not just their names but acronyms to signify being Creative & Capable! Tina, thank you for opening up my mind to a world of options I hadn’t even thought of when deciding on a theme. And the encouragement to follow through with that vision. Patience, when I had indecisiveness and tons of questions. Such trust we had that you would make sure each intricate puzzle piece would fall into place… and u did! Everything you did along with our vendors was simply beautiful… amazing! No wedding can be «planned» to perfection. But it was pretty damn close! Thank you for sharing our special day with us in Hawaii! Not only as our «Mary Fiore» (wedding planner haha) but as a friend!
