History

Established in 1964.

Moreland Hose and Belting, is your preeminent source for all things hose and fittings. Humbly serving Long Island and the Tri-​State Area for over 50 years, we pride ourselves in satisfying every customer that walks through our doors no matter what crazy job they bring us. We accomplish this by having the greatest and most knowledgeable staff, stocking a huge variety of product, and offering fair and upfront pricing

Having grown up in the hose and rubber industry in Brooklyn in the 1940’s and 1950’s and with a growing family and desire to break out on his own, Joseph A. Delmore founded Moreland Hose and Belting in 1964. Beginning with a 5,000 square feet facility in Hempstead, NY, Moreland Hose and Belting quickly gained its footing on Long Island and the 5 boroughs. In 1988, Joe decided it was time to retire and passed the company along to his 3 children and 1 other key employee, Michael Berman.

Together, the 4 partners secured an additional 5000 square feet at our original location

As the first of the 3^rd generation to be involved in the business, I grew up in the hose industry. As a child I was fascinated by all of the services and types of work we perform here and now as an adult I am just as excited and motivated to continue to learn and grow my knowledge base. I am thrilled to be a part of this business, and I look forward to helping our customers with all of their hose related needs.
