History

Established in 1952.

Target Glass & Window is a family owned business started by Dave Murdock jr. in 1952, a Journeyman Glazer at Francisco glass co. and was joined by his son in 1982 David Murdock III who has now continued on as a Journeyman Glazier in his own rite,

Dave and company just finished installing all new windows in my condo. I cannot say enough good things about Target Glass & Window. From the first time I stopped by the shop a few weeks ago to install today, all perfect. He said they would be here at 8am this morning and guess what? They knocked on my door at 8am on. the. dot. And then worked non-​stop all day. The first thing they did was lay down tarps throughout my home so as not to track the dirt from the outside onto my brand new carpets. For my sliding door, they actually ADDED a beautiful trim piece and then PAINTED it. Seriously! I highly recommend them. Don’t bother with anybody else. Call them. You will not be disappointed. I sent a message to Target Glass & Window from Unilocal and got a response from Dave within a few hours with a precise quote based on the estimate measurements that I provided. I called in, submitted my request and someone came in to take measurements and provided me an official quote the same day which was same as what Dave had provided earlier. I ordered the glass and on the day of delivery, it was installed, cleaned and ready to go. The installation team also installed a wooden molding on one side to hold the glass safely at a nominal cost.
Basically, hassle free installation process. I would definitely keep them in mind for all my personal needs and refer them to friends and family.

Dave came out measured the glass in our shower and said he had to order it, I thought ok this should take a few days. No he was back the next day took less then 15 – 20 minutes, cleaned all the previous glass up really good, and that was that. I would recommend Target glass and They would be the only place I would go to for glass or windows!

Target Glass and Window is the BEST! Our house was burglarized and the kitchen window was broken out. Dave had someone come out and secure the window temporarily while I was at work and had the glass replaced in the window frame the same day. Fast, efficient, & a super price.

One evening I opened the window in my house and it came off track. I figured out that I needed a new balancer and started making calls to see if I could get the job done. Response wasn’t positive from a couple places because they don’t want to deal with such a small job, but Dave from Target glass was able to come over within a couple days to take a look at my window.
Dave and his assistant were prompt and polite and took the measurement. He ordered the part and a couple days later came back to take care of the issue. Great experience working with Dave and Target glass, I definitely know who to call when I need window help!

Just like the other reviews I have to give 5 Stars to Target Glass. I have some older Milgard windows in my house and one broke. My children looked sheepishly as I conducted interrogations about the broken window but they wouldn’t fess up.
Anyway, I called Lori from Target Glass to see if they could replace the pane and they were awesome. Dave came down, measured the window, and a few days later was back with the replacement. It only took him about 10 Minutes to install the new pane and cleaned up appropriately.
I was so impressed that I ordered some glass from them for my office and again they were prompt, courteous, knew their glass and had really reasonable pricing.
Great local company, if you need windows or glass for your home or office, call them.

Working with Dave and his team (Ed & Josh) at Target Glass was an exceptional experience, from start to end! Dave is a true professional, he’s honest, straight forward and passionate about what he does. He answered all questions/​concerns in details. The team is working so well together as well as working hard and efficient, in and out quickly within the scheduled time frame. They cleaned up the work place before they left. The team is friendly, courteous and fun. we are enjoying our new patio door and windows. Highly recommended!

I would highly recommend Target glass and Window. They were very helpful over the phone… made everything easy! In a day when it is hard to get good costumer service this company excels! We only needed a tract for our sliding closet doors, they got the tract and delivered it to us in a couple of days. A very good experience all around!

Target Glass and Window was referred to us by our neighbors and we could not be happier with their work. From the free in-​home estimate to the completion of the window installation, Dave and his crew were courteous, friendly, and professional.
We had all five single pane windows on our townhome replaced with double pane, low-​e Anlin windows. We first asked Dave about Milgard windows, but after letting him know our budget, Dave worked with us to find comparable window replacements. He also spent time going over the different types of windows and whether or not we wanted them to open on the left or right. Not a single detail was missed.
When the windows arrived, Dave e-​mailed me to set up an appointment for the installation. On the day of the appointment, he and his crew were ready to go to work. They installed all five windows in one day and cleaned the entire work area. We were worried about our new carpets getting dirty, but Dave had large canvas covers and made sure they covered every inch of the work area to keep the carpets clean.

We found Target Glass through trial and error. Needed a glass top for our new dining room table. We called and because of what we wanted we went first to the office. Talking with Lori was as if we knew her personally. She sent Dave out to the house to measure. OMG, the glass top is beautiful and fit to perfection, right down to the corners, cut to the table edges which had to be specially done. Reasonable on price and when I accidently over paid them they sent the money back. They also cut a glass for a picture frame that held my son’s collogue. It had gotten broken and several places said they couldn’t do it or it was priced extremely high. Lynn and I recommend Target Glass and Window for all you glass needs!
