Best body work I’ve seen. My car looks like new. I hope I never get into another accident, but if I ever need body work, South Bay Collision is the only place I will take it to.
Everyone there is very nice and helpful. They truly care about their customers.

I have been a customer of Sako’s for 5 years. He and Vic are honest guys who do great work and are priced fairly. With 4 kids and 5 cars in our family, SBCC has taken very good care of all our cars, especially when the kids were learning to drive. I have taken our cars to other recommended shops for price comparison and SBCC was always within $ 100.

I was recommended to go to SBCC by my Ford dealership. I was so impressed by the work that was done, the customer service, the reasonable pricing, the turnaround time, etc. I had three estimates done for the work on my car, SBCC’s was the most reasonable. I also appreciated the time they spent going over the estimate with me. The work was expertly done and impeccable, my car looked like new again. I highly recommend SBCC, they deserve the 5 stars.

This is the best place to take your car for any body work. I was sideswiped and had damage to both driver side doors. The guy that hit me asked me to get an estimate from his body shop because they are really cheap and do good work, I stopped at SBCC on the way there and got a quick estimate from Sako.
When i got to the other shop, there were cars all over the place, spray paint flying everywhere and the office was the size of a closet with no working AC. He couldn’t print out the estimate because his printer wasn’t working but it was $ 100 dollars more than SBCC.
Not only was SBCC a nicer establishment but they have better pricing as well!
Sako and the rest of the amazing team at SBCC are friendly, professional, hard working. My 2014 Black Honda Accord came out good as new, and sparkling from the new detail it had just received. They really went above and beyond and I couldn’t be happier with the experience!

So honest and helpful. Have a 1997 Toyota 4Runner that looked like old and tired. I shopped around looking for a paint job. The brothers who own this place said, do not paint it. Buff it, fix the panels and paint a small section. I could have paid $ 3K or $ 5K to paint it, but spent a great deal less than a full paint job for a much better service. I’ve used Jim and Jack’s in El Segundo for years, but now I’m going to take our cars to these guys for anything we need.

I called ahead of time informing them that I would stop by on my lunch break. I got there around 12:15 only for all the repairmen to be at lunch. The owner was there but refused to give me service because he was eating. I walked in, he stared at me and asked what I wanted. I told him I called ahead of time to get an emblem glued on and was told to come on down (super easy job). He flat out told me no and that he needs to eat now. Caused a super awkward moment for the receptionist and I. I felt bad for the receptionist as she was apologizing for her boss’s douchey behavior in front of him. I just politely smiled, thanked her and walked away.
I really hope this had nothing to do with it but I’m an Asian male in a newish Infiniti. He was an older gentleman (very grumpy at me for some reason). I really hope he was just hungry/​grumpy and not a total douche/​racist.
Either way he was a horrible person and terrible businessman. Maybe if he was more business savvy he wouldn’t need all these fake reviews.

Not a fan of bashing on businesses online BUT this place left such a BAD impression I felt like I had to post something.
If you need a body shop and driving east on Rosecrans, just keep driving. In a nut shell SAKO is RUDE and inconsistent. Will spare anyone reading this the nasty details of this place.
Very disappointed that South Bay Ford would use a place like this.

I was driving my fiancée’s Subaru Impreza when a pickup truck rolled (Yes rolled!) into the back of the car. Needless to say, the car was pretty well banged up. South Bay Collision Center was on the list of approved shops by Mercury Insurance. We took the car here based on the Unilocal Reviews.
We are extremely happy with how the car turned out! You would never be able to tell the car had been smashed into. Not only did they make the rear look brand new, they also detailed the entire car. The day we picked up is the cleanest the car has been since the day she bought it.
In addition to doing great work on the car, their front desk staff did a great job of communicating with us over the phone and email.
Vic, one of the owners, was there when we picked up the car. He spent quite a bit of time with us explaining what they did to the car and answering some questions. He’s very knowledgeable and cares about doing good work.
A few days later, my fiancée noticed that the driver side window was not automatically going down all the way when she hit the window power button. She called South Bay Collision Center and they told her to just bring the car over anytime. Even though the window issue wasn’t South Bay’s fault (it was from the battery being unplugged at the insurance inspection), he knew how to fix it. It took him about 30 seconds to do so.

Unfortunately I was the victim of a hit and run. Upset about the incident, South Bay Collision Center made the experience easy and painless. I worked with Sako and Vic, and they were both very professional. They completed the work on my vehicle in a timely fashion, and my car came out looking better than it did before the incident. I definitely recommend their work for any vehicle damage, big or small!

I keep my car very clean and park far away from others to keep it free of dings and scratches so when I was rear ended on the freeway off ramp I was devastated! I was referred from my Insurance company and quickly went in for an estimate. Vic took care of me right away. Dropped off my car Wednesday morning and was immediately updated via email my car had been disassembled within a few hours! I received a call around Noon on Friday advising my car had been sent for detailing/​waxing and would be ready within a few hours and all at no extra cost to me! My car came out looking amazing!!! I highly recommend this location to anyone having the misfortune of needing body work. A big thank you to South Bay Collision Center and all of its staff, you ROCK!!!

Unfortunately I ended up here because my wife was involved in an accident our new Cadillac Escalade suffered some bumper damage. I came here because I trust Vic, sako, geovanni, and Charlie. I have been visiting their auto detail business just down the street and they do a superb job. Needless to say these guys took care of me. I brought my car on a Monday ot was done by Thursday. The work was flawless and show room type condition. In addition, we received a voucher for a full detail on our truck an estimated $ 250.00 savings for us. The staff is 1. Knowledgeable 2. Friendly 3. Reasonable with prices 4. Fast and efficient 5. Professional… u can’t ask for anything better. If u find yourself in an unfortunate situation involving your vehicle in an accident. Visit these guys, you will definetely be please.

I have been coming here for 10 years. This is the BEST body shop in Southern California. Vic and Sako are the best in the business always making my family’s vehicles look out of the show room quality combined with PREMIER customer service. I would not and will not take my business elsewhere!

My Toyota Matrix SRX was hit for the 2^nd time on the rear door and quarter panel. This time instead of using Geico’s shop I chose South Bay, Vic and Saco are the owners and very cool. I would like to mention also the young lady who runs the office and the guys who do the work, all very cool.
They did a great job on my car, much better than the previous repair. Allan washed and waxed my car using clay for some bird damage. The care looks better than when I purchased it.
I highly recommend South Bay, I will always use them for any body and fender or detail work.

I took my car in for body work and repairs after being invovled in a motor vehicle accident. Southbay Collison was an authorized repair facility through my insurance. I took my car in and Sako explained the process and communicated directly with my insurance company while still keeping me in the loop. The repairs took a little longer than initially expected due to supplemental damage being identified during the repair process. However, the additional wait time was well worth it. My car looked excellent and was even washed/​waxed.

Overall very good first-​time experience. I have a 2014 black Mustang convertible which had a serious ‘driveway scrape’ on the rear quarter panel. The cost of the repair would be paid out of my pocket, not paid by insurance. I met Sako at South Bay Ford when I brought it in for an oil change. He prepared and emailed an estimate that same day. In the meantime, I brought it to another body shop for a second estimate, but SBCC’s quote was the best price, so I booked at appt.
Sako said they would need 4 – 5 days to complete the job, so I dropped it off on a Monday and expected it back by Friday. During the parts removal process, they discovered a hidden minor problem; Sako called me and we worked out a mutually agreeable solution. My car was ready on time, at the agreed price; plus, they had washed and detailed it, so it looked spectacular!
I rate SBCC as reliable, competent, with very friendly customer service. Bottom line, I would use them again.

I had a delivery truck back out and scratch the back door of my brand new car! Ford Explorer. He got away!

Apparently, I have some funky, unique pearly white color – not just normal white. Got several quotes. Anywhere from $ 1200 – 1500. Right at my insurance deductible: $ 1,000.
Not only were they recommended by Ford Dealers, they were similar in price to everyone else. The guy worked with me because I did not want to report to my insurance. Cost of repair so close, not worth reporting. They reduced it to $ 1150.
I went on vacation for a week, left my car in their trusted hands. Back. Can’t tell there was ever an issue. Thanks, guys!

I was referred to South Bay Collision Center by the Ford Dealer across the street. I need an old school repair to the bumper on a off road 4×4. Not a take off and replace job, but someone that would remove, straighten out and refinish.
South Bay did an outstanding job. And, the customer service from Mark couldn’t have been better. And, it looks great.
I would strongly recommend them for any body work.

South Bay Collision did a great job for me with my 1974 VW Thing. We went to a number of body shops looking for someone who would give the car a complete paint job. Surprisingly, 3 other shops declined the work, or to even quote it because it was not through an insurance company. One honest shop owner said he could make more on a bumper bender with the insurance co. than he could doing my whole car.
Sako’s SBCC was recommended to me by my mechanic, and he did not disappoint. We agreed on a price, talked over the details and car turned out great on time. My son and I had some fun putting the car back together, as it was a project car. Sako gave us some extra paint for touch up work and future mishaps.
The shop workers were very helpful and treated us friendly as we would show up out of the blue to see the work in progress. I appreciate the respect and honesty I received from SBCC, you will too.
