Macaluso’s

Three words… HACKENSACK HOLIDAY PARTY.
Wow what a venue, not sure if it was the wine, the music, the food, or the company that made this place rock so much but it was incredible! My one recommendation which is probably the hospitals choosing is that you have to get there and to the food early as it is out and waiting to be eaten at 7:00pm when the party started. The side rooms with the pictures was hysterical and the karaōke was legendary. The food was amazing between the stuffed clams, eggplant, fried shrimp, seafood salad, cheese wheel and sliced meats the food was incredible. A + all around, cant wait for next years party!

It would be difficult, if not impossible, to find a better place to have your wedding other than at Macaluso’s! They really are top-​notch in every way– staff, value, the atmosphere, the food, absolutely everything. We visited a few different places just for comparison sake, but we knew from the start that Macaluso’s would be our place. We just got a good feeling after our first meeting with Nat, plus the venue itself is gorgeous both inside and out. The staff is highly professional– they were more than willing to help us out with any request, made great suggestions, and on our wedding day they provided flawless service both us and to our guests. They anticipated our every need and went above and beyond to ensure that we were able to fully enjoy every second of our wedding, which we did, thanks to them! We could not have been happier. This is a family-​owned business, and they are completely honest — we went back the next day to gather all of our things that we left there, and there were gifts that we had no idea that people had left. They had stored my bouquet in the fridge so that it did not wilt and gave us more desserts to take home that night, which was great because the night before was such a whirlwind, that we didn’t get to eat too much! All of our guests did though, because 3 months later, we’re still hearing about how people cannot believe the amount and the quality of the food that was there! Nowhere in the Northeast is it cheap to have a wedding, but I really don’t think you’ll be able to find a venue that gives you as much of a value as Macaluso’s provides. Now we’re just hoping someone else will have their wedding there, so we can go back!!!

As a first time visitor to this highly-​praised event venue, I couldn’t have been any more impressed. The décor, the service, and most importantly the food lived up to all the expectations that I had coming in to the place. My work holiday party was held for the first time this year at Macaluso’s and I think it’s going to continue to be held there for years to come based on all the positive comments from everyone I spoke to. For a place to hold hundreds and hundreds of party revelers and still maintain a great sense of elegance is no small feat, but Macaluso’s was able to pull it off with grace and style. Boy what a treat it was to celebrate with coworkers and enjoy all the hard work this past year.
The place may not be the biggest venue I have been to but its space utilization is perfect. The main ballroom has a huge dance floor and plenty of space to accommodate a couple hundred guests. The décor is Italian elegance mixed with French flare. You instantly knew it was going to be a classy party as soon as you walked in. Connected to the grand ballroom was another area where the buffet was set-​up. Selections were simply too many to recount and the food served was nothing short of perfect. Everything was scrumptious and I ate every bit of food on my plate until not a single morsel was left. At first I felt so awkward for doing such thing but then I realized that I wasn’t the only one who pretty much licked their plate clean. Perhaps that’s the biggest compliment I can give – I would have actually licked my plate clean had it not been for my coworker stopping me!
I understand why many people list Macaluso’s as a favorite place to hold events. I can only imagine how amazing a wedding would be here. If my holiday party experience was any indicator, any bride would find this place the perfect venue for her special day. Perhaps when I attend a wedding here I can see another side of it, but I have no doubt based on my one visit they will blow any event out of the water.

I had my daughters wedding at Macalusos on 05÷15÷15. I just want to start by saying thank you to Maroon and his wonderful staff. They did such a great job to make sure everything went perfect. The food was excellent as was the service. You could not ask for anything more. My daughter and son-​in-​law, family and friends had such a great time. I would recommend Macalusos to everyone to have any affair catered there.

I’ve been to Macaluso’s twice. Once for a bridal shower and another time for a wedding. The service is excellent, the food was delicious, the meals came out hot. I would recommend this place to others.

Very well maintained reception hall with multiple rooms for many different party sizes. Main ballroom has a beautiful stair case which ends up for anyone’s grand entrance. Décor in all rooms is modern and kept pristine. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful through any event. Food is much more then one would expect at a typical hall with great choices done very well! We took all out associates here for a Friday lunch, group of 50 and hit was a smash! Highly recommend!

My husband and I got married here on 8÷8÷14 and people are still talking about the food! Everything was perfect, we could not have asked for a better day. The cocktail hour, wow. I am begging people to get married here, so I can relax and enjoy the food.

Cute place with a nice spread. I’ve been to a few events here and have enjoyed myself. The food is good, but the staff was rude. Also, the lobby is kind of awkwardly decorated, not sure it’s the best place to host a wedding.

I only come here once a year for the RBBARI Tricky Tray… The service is outstanding. Its a fixed menu. We start off with the antipasto sald. comes with 3 different kinds of cheese. cheddar /​swiss and fresh mozz. olives. mushrooms. and grilled seasoned veggies… so good! Then we are served pasta… pasta is cooked to perfection and there sauce is really good… then we had chicken breast in some kind of wine reduction. the chicken was very juicy. and the sauce was really good.
Even though I only come here once a year I will definitely recommend to friends and family for upcoming events

Phenomenal place. I was a guest at a wedding recently and from a guest perspective it was top notch. It is hard to add much more than what others have said. If it is positive, I agree.

Been to two weddings here in the past 7 years and have never been disappointed. The cocktail hour is actually 1.5 hours and the food we had was outstanding. The dinner, I had the fillet mignon, was moist and nicely done. The venetian hour… fughedaboutit!

Attended a Summer wedding at macaluso!
The reception was held at this location… from the outside it looked like a small little Italian restaurant… but the inside looked so big and elegant…
the entrees span all the way to a three course sit down dinner with a full open bar and dancing into the night…
I really enjoyed the buffet of appetizers… very delish… The only thing I had a problem with would be the seats were located a mile away from the buffet… made it extremely hard and difficult to get another plate of food.
I thought the décor was nice… Pretty elegant… The center pieces were cutes… kept me entrain all night… The service was great… but I felt hurried because they keep asking me if Im done with my food…
first dance for the bride and groom… a father/​daughter dance for the bride and her father… possibly a mother/​son dance for the son and his mother… and then everyone joins in and partying it up…
during the reception… the bride and groom cut the wedding cake and feed each other a bite… towards the end of the reception… the bride did the bouquet toss every single or unmarried women went crazy for it…
Tip: chocolate fountain!

My sister had her wedding here and it was everything we wanted and more! Everything went smoothly and we have to thank the staff for that. The place is beautiful, clean, and organized. The cocktail hour alone was top notch. The bartenders were friendly and made sure our drinks were great. When it came to the main course I had the filet mignon with mashed potatoes/​asparagus. It was fantastic. Everyone was happy with their choices (chicken/​steak/​tilapia). The waiters made sure we were always attended to. All of our family and friends keep talking about how incredible the wedding turned out. I highly recommend this place.

I went to a wedding here in Feb and it was amazing! The place was spotless, well run, organized. Staff was friendly, prompt. The food was awesome! My friend had this huge spread that could have fed 50x more people than were at the wedding (seriously!). I could not stop eating at this wedding. As an outsider (not the one getting married) I must say this place is one of the best all around!

I got married there in ’08. While the idea of having my wedding in NJ was not my idea of a dream wedding, my husband was insistent on having our wedding at Macaluso’s right from the day of the engagement. Tehy did not miss a beat. The staff was amazing and the food was out of this world. Our friends in California are still talking about it… the thing is that the people in New Jersey are still talking about it! In addition, the people who didn’t make it, but saw the food in our wedding video are also talking about the abundance and the presentation of it.
The one thing I was worried about was getting photos outside and let me tell you, somehow we pulled it off and got great shots out side of the place.

TOP NOTCH!!! We had the most fabulous wedding thanks to the entire team at Macaluso’s.
Highly recommend the extra lobster flambé too! No one I know has ever seen a wedding quite like this. The service, bridal attendants, support, guidance, food, and drink was just as good as it could ever get.
You will not be disappointed, I promise!
