Business Owner

I started out working with my father as a young boy. In and around the house and other locations. At first I was just his helper. We worked side by side as he showed me how to paint. I gained skills and knowledge. This also increased my confidence and built my fathers trust as the years went by.

My father would show me how to work, by rounding up the tools, ladders, primers and paints for our project (s). I started by being organized ahead of time. We worked in stages (on the weekends) on larger projects. On the smaller projects that we completed, we made sure to clean up before we tackled the next one. We prepared, primed and painted ceilings, walls and trim, both inside and outside, through my high school years (Mira Costa class of 78) and some college years of mine. I soon started working for other family members, neighbors and friends. And have been ever since.

There is no doubt in my mind my father helped me tremendously. I’m very grateful for every thing he has done for me.
