Larry is a total pro with decades of experience. I’ve been using him for my office building carpet for years with no complaints. I’ve seen his showroom and he has a large selection of residential flooring as well. Nice guy.

I just walked into Contract Interiors because I am going to re carpet my office building. As I walk in, there is a guy sitting behind a computer with a credit card in his hand and I said «how are you doing». He responds with «depends» with a chuckle. He doesn’t even look at me. Then I could not believe the words that came out of this family owned business mouth. The guy then says «what the fu$& do you want» I literally stood there dumbfounded. I turned and walked back through the door. As I was walking through the door I could hear him say «I was just kidding» I don’t care if this place was the last carpet establishment in Los Angeles, I would not give them a penny.
There is no way they could say anything that would change my thoughts towards the way they run their business. I don’t care if it was a joke or not, that was completely unprofessional. I could expect this from some people but a family owned and operated business, no way. We’re going to spend our good money elsewhere.

We wanted to do a few of the usual improvements that you would normally do when purchasing a home, particularly paint and carpet. We had a one week window to be out of our old house and into our new house without having to seek out another alternative. Paint wasn’t going to be an issue but carpet was. We talked to several carpet companies. Most of them couldn’t meet our deadline and the companies that could were overpriced. Just as we were getting ready to give up, I was put in contact with Larry at Contract Interiors. Not only did Larry say he could do it before my deadline, but he was able to do with a higher quality product at a better price. On top of carpet, Larry was able to put us in touch with an awesome company for paint & baseboards. Whether he intended it or not, he ended up being a one-​stop-​shop for us. Not sure what our move-​in experience would have been like without Larry. If you find yourself in a similar position that we were in where your tired of calling around and you feel like every contractor is trying to rip you off, give Larry a call and see what he can help you with. Needed blinds for my French doors and vertical blinds for a bay window. Found Contract Interiors on Unilocal with great reviews. Went to the establishment, and met Larry, the owner. I gave him the measurements of what I needed and explained what I wanted… I didn’t need Hunter Douglas… just something that looked nice that would last. He gave me a quote, which beat a local business by 40%. Took his bid back to the other business and they said that he was basically giving the stuff away! Larry doesn’t have the big overhead of a showroom or sales staff so he’s able to give very reasonable rates. When I went back to him, he explained that he also does carpeting. I gave him the sample that I was going to purchase and he said that he was also getting a new product that I might like even more. He came to my house with samples of this new product and measured my house for the window coverings and carpeting. I told him where I didn’t want the seams to be located and he worked around my wishes. Once he had the measurements, he quoted me a price for the sample I brought to him and he was $ 1000 cheaper with better padding than the other quote! The new product that he brought was even nicer (plusher & denser) than the one I was going to buy and it turns out that it was the low same price as his other quote. We signed the contract and asked that installation be held off for 4 weeks because we were having work and painting done in the house. As soon as we were ready, Larry put in our order and a week later, the carpet was perfectly installed… can’t see the seams even though I know where they are. Installers were very professional and courteous. They definitely knew what they were doing. Window coverings look fantastic too! I highly recommend Contract Interiors without hesitation!

Contract Interiors is a family owned business — so their service is outstanding. If you are looking to recarpet, put in new floors, blinds or make interior improvements, start here. Home Improvement is always a big job (even the little things) but at Contact Interiors they make the process go much more smoothly!
