After a long day of shopping, my family and I decided to stop at Phở Huy for a nice warm dinner. We arrived prior to peak dinner hours and were seated immediately. Yes, the food is great here(broth is clean and meat is tender), but I especially enjoy visiting this place for the excellent service! Im not sure if this establishment is family run, but the waiter and waitress are always welcoming and attentive. I’ll definitely stop by again when I’m in Oregon!

Very friendly stuff. Fast service too. We order or food and within 10 mins it was ready. I gave it a 4 because they don’t have free refills on soft drinks.

Just moved up here from Southern California. I grew up near Little Saigon in Westminster, CA for almost 40 years of my life so when looking for Phở in Oregon, you bet I have high expectations. I have tried a couple before I got to this one & they were horrible! Even the ones on Unilocal that had high rating were nasty. This one I saw when I was shopping at Winco & decided to give it a try. It is soooo good! I came here twice in one day just to introduce it to my husband when he got off of work that night & my kids love it too. It is family owned & they are so nice & so talkative, I love that homey feeling in the place. Their broth is amazing, so much flavor. And their crispy rolls are heaven! I could go there & just make a meal of those, my kids inhale them everytime. I always order the Peanut Sauce with them though because their Peanut sauce is amazing. Went there one day & got their rice dish which was really great & my little picky eaters even inhaled that, it is seasoned very well. And I got some iced Vietnamese coffee which I have been craving since I left CA. My only complaint about the coffee is that I needed a much bigger serving because its so good, went way to quick! Haha!

Been going her a long time. I can’t believe I hadn’t reviewed yet. The owner always remembers her customers. Even when you’ve been away 6 months she remembers and double checks that you want your usual order. Great phò, salad rolls, and service.

Located in a strip mall behind WinCo. My fiancé and I were hungry and used the UnilocalAPP. to find us phở’. After a quick read of nearby restaurants and reviews. We found Phở’ Huy. Upon arrival we were greeted with a smile as soon as we walked in and seated. Our order taken. We talk and wait. After a short wait we get our appetizers and entrees at the same time. Not how that goes but being our first time here and being super hungry, we let it roll. We liked our Phở’ but the aps could use a little help. The peanut sauce for the Salad Roll was ok. Just didn’t have that wow factor. The Fried Rolls weren’t that great in general. They seemed a little greasy, even for fried food. I would still say that Phở’ Huy was decent. For where they are, in this location. Its pretty good food and friendly service.

Don’t recommend the salad rolls, peanut sauce was extremely salty, the PHO was mediocre. Difficult to order if you have never been there before, many questions about the specifics of what should be put in the PHO.

I went here on my hour lunch break and it was exactly what i needed. They are the friendliest staff i have ever encountered and they are super fast. My phở came out very fast and the price was on point. I love that they have all the silverware already at your table so you dont feel guilty admitting that you are not so perfect with chopsticks. I will be revisiting, especially with this nasty weather.

This place is my new favorite phở place. They are so welcoming and so nice to each and every customer who walks in. Their phở broth is amazing. And their hot tea is fantastic. Will change my phở location. The extra drive is worth it

The service, the tea, the family, the music, all are top notch. I cannot tell you how much I love this little place. The expedited service is amazing and friendly. I had the special rice noodle combo and the food quality is so consistent it gave me deja vu. I continue to come back for the food but the smiles and service push it over the top.

I’ve eaten at several Phở restaurants but this was the worst ever. The broth was so salty I couldn’t eat it. Also I added vegetables to my chicken and noodle phở, but not only couldn’t I find the vegetables, but the chicken either. Every other bowl of phở I have bought has been so full of goodies I always take lots home for later. For $ 10.50 I got a cup of stuff with the rest horrible tasting broth. It tasted like a packaged broth not like good Phở broth. Also the floor was dirty with food and the silverware is in a cup at the table where you have to dig in with your hands to separate the forks and spoons. So whoever comes before you does the same-let’s hope they don’t have the flu or something else-ugh. The salad rolls were chewy too-never had chewy ones before. Don’t want them again either. No thanks I won’t be back.

KEEPLOOKING We just came back from a terrific experience at Phở Viet in Bend. Must have gotten spoiled, as the portions here are kiddie sized, and reminded me of the old joke about chicken soup that hurts your eyes. Hurts trying to find the chicken! I ordered the multi-item special, with a good appetite– and was shocked to learn I paid $ 10.95 for an appetizer. Service was nothing special, crying babies, and lukewarm experience. When we got up, I noticed the carpet was filthy, and food and crumbs all over the floor under our table. Caveat Emptor!

Great phở at a reasonable price. The owner is very nice, as is most the staff. The broth is good and rich and they always serve big portions.

We love, love, looove the phở here. We’ve had several varieties, and they are consistently delicious. The owner is great – very friendly and helpful, and likes to help make sure things are to your taste. The servings are generous. The restaurant itself is fine – standard surroundings, nothing fancy – but the food is worth going for! Multiple broths are available, and the vegetable broth is great if you aren’t feeling meat. The chicken noodle is super tasty, and perfect if you’re feeling the need for something in your belly. We’d also recommend the lemongrass – yum!

Great phở and salad rolls. It’s a family business. The owners(parents) aren’t that great with English but they’re very sweet! Their kids are absolutely wonderful, their daughter remembers me every time I go in(I go in maybe once every 3 months) and asks me how my family is by name! Such a great business here. Every Vietnamese restaurant should take tips from here!

My wife and I LOVE this place. The owner is extremely friendly and very helpful with the menu. I would even consider stopping in just to say hi. I recommend both the crispy rolls and the springs rolls. As well as the round steak phô!!!

The Ph was always so so! I went here only because it’s closed to my place! But this time will be the last time. The service was just ok! Waitress was nice and polite but I can tips her more to buy some smiles! The phở was all noodle! Meats r small pieces like from the left over! Definitely not recommended and I’ll not coming back! Sorry but I have my own business I know how customer service should be and this place is 1 star level of service and 1 star level of food!

These guys seriously have the best phở in town. I have tried phở throughout Portland and Vancouver and they are by far the best. Customer service is also a plus. Live the family experience. I would give them more stars if I could

I love Phở. I eat at a lot of Vietnamese restaurants. This place is sadly my least favorite Phở restaurant I have been to. The phở is very expensive compared to other restaurants and they give you small portions. There are so many better phở restaurants along 82nd.

Sometimes I really dislike trying new phở restaurants when I’m used to my usual go-to spots. This was that time & of course it was when I had a cold & really wanted a bowl of delicious phở. Phở Huy was recommended to my fiancé by his co-worker. His recommendation was not a great one & so sadly two stars is all I can give it. The prices weren’t bad but I rather pay a little more for phở if it’s going to taste better elsewhere, i.e. @phở.com, Phở Hung on Powell, Phở Dalat on 39th. We ordered a large bowl of beef brisket/eye of round & large bowl of vegetarian phở, both priced at $ 7.95. The broth was not piping hot nor did it have that phở taste. The broth for the veggie phở tasted sweet & chicken-like at the same time. The veggies were disappointing. It was filled too much with bitter cabbage, a few carrot strips, & couple broccoli & onion pieces. There was hardly any noodles & I ran out of what I did have a few bites in. Just don’t order veggie phở here. The beef phở was«beefy» but just because there’s a lot of meat doesn’t make it taste better. Overall, we were both disappointed in our phở. The salad rolls($ 4.95) actually tasted better than the phở. Service was… different. The owner was our server & I’m just going to say she’s not the most friendly, patient, happy person. I think you have to go there to get an idea but the food isn’t worth it so the owner wouldn’t be either so let’s just forget about it. We did experience the dim lighting another reviewer wrote about but only after we finished eating. I agree it would’ve been too dark to see your food & I also wondered why she turned off half the lights. To make a long review short I say phở-k this place & go somewhere else.
