Hamilton Service Center

I am VERY disappointed in the lack of professionalism with this service center. I called on April 20, asking for a simple estimate BECAUSE a friend of mine recommended this station. The person who answered the phone asked me to email the VIN and issues with my vehicle, and, that he would work up and estimate and get back to me later that day.
He didn’t call me back as he promised, so, I called him back the next day, and, got an «I’ll call ya in an hour». You guessed it — he didn’t call me back yet again. Soooooooo… since I was out of town, I had to wait until Apr 27 to call him back.
I called Apr 27, and, he didn’t answer the phone.
So, I called him again today, Apr 28 and got complete apathy from him — I told him I had asked for an estimate a week ago, and, was waiting for him to get back to me. He said «that’s ok». That’s ok? Really? This is how you do business? You ignore people’s requests for estimates then tell them its ok when you are unprofessional?
Well, it’s not ok, and, I am very disappointed in this garage. Would NOT recommend. I would love an explanation from this garage.
UPDATE: Since leaving this review, that garage has contacted me 2 times to try to help me. I do appreciate that, but, I do wonder why they didn’t call in the 8 days prior, and, now that I have left a negative review I get some attention. Why not before when I asked for an estimate… which I never got?

Let me start off by saying I have car mechanic trust issues, Mike at Hamilton Service Center has earned my trust. He is upfront, honest, and fair. He has done a lot of work for me on my three vehicles since they opened, they even replaced an engine for me. They’ve also checked and corrected many of my own repairs at my request.
One of my vechicles is still under a dealer warranty. I’ve often called Mike to validate dealer troubleshooting and costs, he has always steered me right.
