Wolgang’s a nice guy and can do basic service work, but I will not be able to recommend him for major engine work. I had him replace the crank bearings and crankcase seals on my Kawasaki dirt bike. When I got it back, a guy I know who has had the same bike rode it and said it had no top end response at all. He suspected the power valve wasn’t opening correctly so it wouldn’t run well at high RPM. I called Wolfgang to ask him about the power valve and he said that he installed and timed it correctly. I took it to a mechanic who is having to tear the top end apart so that the power valve actuating shafts can be installed correctly. They were actually reversed. Not only that, but the linkage between the centrifugal mechanism and the power valve shaft wasn’t even attached. As I said, I would not recommend Coastside for major engine work.
