They will be moving me again to my final location. I love the movers. They are very helpful and honest. took care of all my stuff. The price i received was right for my move. They worked with me.

I hired Hercules Movers to complete a three-​part move. I was initially quoted a rate of $ 50/​hr, which would include two movers, a truck, and moving supplies. I was informed that the movers would disassemble and reassemble furniture at the original and final locations, respectively. The day of the move, I received a call from Hercules Movers informing me that the price would instead be a flat $ 350 rate, and that the previously agreed-​upon $ 50/​hr rate was no longer in effect. I was given the choice of accepting the new rate on the day of the move, or cancelling the move entirely. The movers contracted by Hercules damaged my bed and destroyed a stand-​up mirror during transportation, but have not been reachable by phone or email since the move. When dropping off the furniture at my new apartment, Hercules movers unloaded my belongings into the street without my presence. I arrived to find my property in a public street, with only one mover there, instead of the two previously agreed upon. That mover requested I bring a small box into the apartment as he would begin setting up to move the large pieces of furniture etc. When I returned, the mover and truck were gone, and my belongings were abandoned in the public street, unattended. Hercules is in breach of their contract to complete the move as agreed upon, as they insisted on being paid in cash prior to completing the move. When I tried to call Hercules on multiple occasions, the line has been disconnected and any further attempts to contact them via phone go straight to voicemail, leading me to believe they have blocked my number.
I submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, which I hope will result in some action. Please don’t make the same mistake I did!

I don’t usually write reviews but my experience with them was so awful that I feel it is duty to warn other potential victims.
BEWARE and STAY AWAY!!!
I used them to move some furniture to storage while I was having floors refinished in the house. They promised low rates on the internet but when I called, I was given a higher quote. I was quoted a price for two men for 4 hours work. On the day of the move, they sent three men to do a job that took 30 min. and charged me the full 4 hours and the extra man.
I was told a flat storage fee that was supposed to be «binding» but when I got the first month’s bill for storage, it was 210% higher than the original quote. When I called to see what happened, they told me that I had been notified that our things needed a larger storage space than originally thought and that I had agreed to it. I never received such notice nor had I ever agreed to that.
When it came to getting our things from storage, the nightmare continued. Adam, the sales person I had been working with, continued to be belligerent. I could not get a straight answer on how much it would cost to have our things delivered from storage to our house. In the end, my husband and I rented a truck and are bringing it back ourselves because of the hassle and untrustworthiness of this company. This was an extremely disheartening and stressful experience and hope that other can be spared this experience.

We used these guys based on the recommendation of a friend who had moved from DC to Princeton, NJ. We used them to move from one place to another in Brooklyn, NY. The labor that they used were not very professional for 2 reasons: (1) They «added» services not previously included in the «on the spot» quote such as a special box for a TV that cost $ 75). (2) Some of the individuals were inappropriate in their gawking at some of the ladies present.
They damaged some of the furniture (broke a wheel off of desk), and more importantly cause damage to the apartment that we moved out of — broke a light in the hallway and significant scratch to the woodwork. I understand that these things happen, but the are insured for this type of thing. However, the customer service afterward was pathetic.
When finally contacted, the rep who was supposed to come to the apartment that had the damage did not agree to visit the location for 3.5 weeks! By that time, the property owner would have had the lamp fixtures and wall repaired in order to rent the apartment out again. And the company did not agree to pay for damage on the basis of photos and receipt of replacement lights. They basically played the waiting game so I would give up and pay for the damages out of my security deposit (which I did).
I would not recommend these guys.
