Rip City Limousine

Everyone I spoke to on the phone was polite and up front. I was in Portland from Hawaii for a birthday celebration. The staff, including driver were very professional and accommodating. The party bus was immaculately clean, and had all the hook ups for music etc. I even got an email from the owner after our ride to make sure everything was to my satisfaction! Will definitely do business with them next time I’m in town!

Buyer Beware! What the other reviewers mention is true. They tell you one thing and then after the fact something very different. When during the entire trip, Carlo the owner and driver, never mentioned anything was wrong. Not until after we were gone and he sent a very mean spirited, unprofessional, text stating we owed more money. I was fine paying the extra cleaning fee, but $ 700 over what we owed? That is just stealing. To date, they are trying to claim we owe them over $ 1000! Stating we did something we did not do. Very unprofessional and just plain dishonest.

Company lost my business when they started out by saying «there’s no extra fee if you are within a 10 mile radius of downtown using Pioneer Square as a reference point».
We are about 9 miles away, 9.6 by Barbur. They changed their tune and said by the I5 it is 10.2 miles, so that’s $ 90.
Needless to say, they destroyed a chance at a B2B relationship before it even began by counting pennies, and we run a lot of events.

If I could leave no stars I would. I am livid. This company will cheat you of your money. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM! They charged my card on November 30 for a wine tasting tour on December 6. However, today is December 5 and I have not received any information about our driver or a confirmation code. But if you look at my bank acct or any of my friends acct we’ve all been charged. For what?! I have no clue. We have no driver booked, they didn’t schedule any of our wineries (I did– by choice so that’s fine. However, I’m just stating this bc I’m still uncertain what I’m being charged for) and they haven’t answered or returned any of our calls in the last 3 days. They claim they can’t book the driver because they need payments from all the party. However, that’s hard to do when they don’t answer or return calls. (About 20 missed calls and over 10 VM) This is so unprofessional! Being helpful before taking our money and once you take our money then you don’t return our calls. There should be no reason we don’t get a return call either seeing as your hours clearly state that you’re open from 7−8pm and you called us back ASAP before you had our credit card numbers. SMH. You folks should be ashamed of yourselves. If I don’t receive a call back before the 6^th you can guarantee you will be reported to the better business bureau and my lawyer as that is clearly theft. You have clearly stolen money from over 5 ppl.
Also if you plan on buying a GROUPON for them and call them to see if they have reservations. They will say oh you don’t need to buy a groupon we will honor that price. DON’T do it. At least Groupon will refund you your money back with out a hassles if you’re not able to redeem it. However, rip city limos does not, they take your money with no explanation and then when you try calling back they ignore you. You’re better off renting through rip city bus tours or another private company. In the long run it will save you the headache and at least you’ll get something in return for the money you spent.

I received a call back from the owner of the company. We are now scheduled and have fixed any confusion or miscommunication. He was very easy to deal with and tried his best to remedy the situation. I will update my reviews after the tour to let you Unilocalers know how the tour went :)

If it was not for the miscommunication during scheduling and a few dirty cups I would have given this company a 5 star review. The owner, Carlo was our driver. He wanted to make sure there were no other problems with our tour and there was absolutely NONE! He was a few minutes early to pick us up from my home and we took a little while to all load into the car. But he wasn’t upset about that at all. We only had 7 ppl as there were issues with scheduling the rest of our party. However, Carlo still took the 7 us out in what was promised and took amazing care of us! We each paid $ 49.99 and then an additional pick up fee of $ 90.00 split between us. He worked around our winery picks and even took us to a few extra stops since we had some extra time. Carlo even took pictures for us and carried all our wine purchases and boxes back to the «batmobile». He made my birthday really special and our group is already looking forward to booking a casino limo tour. :) One thins I recommend is buying the GROUPON deal just in case you are not able to schedule, you’ll at least be able to get a full refund. And don’t forget to bring some snacks or lunch as the wine limo tours only include bottle water and glasses/​cups. However, there are liittle ice chest you can chill your champagne/​wine over. THANK YOU CARLO for everything we did not regret using your company!!! :)

Be aware of the rules. Drivers will tell you it’s OK but the next day there will be a charge on your card. Very unprofessional!

I found Rip City Limos through a groupon promotion, and they were a GREAT find! I reserved the ‘batmobile’ a few months ahead of time for a girls’ day wine tasting tour in Hood River, and was very impressed with how the company works with its customers to make sure they get the experience they want. Day of our tour, our stretch was clean, spacious, and our driver was great!
I would definitely recommend them — I have already referred a friend to them and she has used them twice, and I’ve booked them for another tour in a few weeks. Thanks, Rip City Limos!

Great job to rip city limo’s and Carlo. Booked the white stretch nav for my daughters 16^th birthday. Carlo was On time and very courteous. Got us to dinner on time and had a great ride for the 15 people in the vehicle. Would recommend to use. I know I will
