Artistically directed by by Debbie Pierce with over 20 years of expertise in ballet instruction. We also offer many other genres of dance instructed by a highly qualified staff of instructors ready to inspire a well-​rounded dancer!

History

Established in 2014.

This is a brand new East County dance school built upon the director, Debbie Pierces 23 years of successful dance instruction in Gresham, Oregon.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Born in Seattle, Washington. Debbie started dance classes at the age of five. She took tap, jazz and ballet but quickly became aware that ballet would become her main focus. She went on to study at the prestigious Cornish School of the Arts. After relocating to Portland, Debbie began intensive study under Jacqueline Shumacher at Portland Ballet School. Debbie later became a member of the cities first company, the Portland Ballet Company. During her dance career she also studied under Robert Joffrey, The San Francisco Ballet and American Ballet Theatre. She went on to instruct classical ballet to the youth in our great community and share with them her passion and comittment to excellence. She owned and operated Mt. Hood Ballet Academy for 23 years in which time she created the first East County presentation of the Nutcracker. It is with great excitement that Debbie’s commitment to excellence for other genres of dance can be realized by opening her own studio in Gresham, OR once again!
