Was hungry for an old fashioned hamburger. I saw all the great reviews online about this place so my husband and I figured we’d check it out. All I can say is, oh my goodness! Their burgers are so tasty I would say they are better than five guys! Their french fries are also great, nice and crispy. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone and I will definitely be going back! Oh, and I like that they play fifties music.

Got the chance to visit based on a friend-what a great idea! We only went for breakfast, but I can tell you the portions were good, price was right, and the food was actually hot, like it just came off the griddle and not hot from sitting under a heat lamp. Service was excellent. We will definitely be coming back again!

This place has a child hood nostalgia that just keeps me coming back any time im in the area. Something about a long burger and a blackberry milkshake just puts a smile on my face!

I come for breakfast often and love it. Breakfast has table service. Lunch and dinner are counter order and drive thru only. Like I said, I love breakfast. I haven’t found anything to rave about with lunch or dinner but the halibut and chips wasn’t too bad.

Stop there on our road trip to the Redwoods from WA state. Great burgers! A steady stream of customers and for how busy they were with walking, call ins, & drive-thur our food came in a timely manor. Now the milk shakes are the real amazing, out of this world, take me back to my childhood kinda thing! So good! Also on our way out noticed there is a bar in the back!

Terrible breakfast. Food was cold! Not enough room in the lobby to wait for a table. Floors are dirty. Napkin dispenser was covered in dust. The ketchup bottle was sticky and nasty. This is not okay! They need to be on DIRTYDINING! Also there needs to be more then two waitresses working the tables on Sunday’s breakfasts. I have been to deas many times and it seem like it’s run down. This needs to be fixed. Thanks.

Love this place. Been coming here since the early 80’s and the food has never changed. Hell the deep fried mushrooms taste as f they haven’t changed the oil In 30 years, and I’m ok with that. If you are into old style long burgers, traditional shakes, this is the place.

I know this is a gresham area icon but im actually not very impressed with the food. I dont know if there has been different owners over the years but the quality isnt there. Burgers are ok. Milkshakes are the only thing i like. Peanut butter marshmallow is the way to go!

What a great place to find. Home made breakfast. Large portions. Wait staff is excellent. Clean and wonderful. You must try this place.

I always heard great things about this place, so figured I would try it out. I’m sad to say it was pretty mediocre food for the price, and I wouldn’t say it lives up to the hype. Service was also pretty slow. Probably won’t go back anytime soon.

So far so good. Stopped in late Sunday evening got fries and a decaf coffee. Just a snack. I also stole a couple bites of my friends corn dog. Staff was super friendly. Food was out fast and tasty. Also, there was hot, good decaf ready to go. It was like 90 min to close… honestly that impressed me.

One of the best drive in style burgers around. Fries were good too, I will be back. The reviews said that it was similar to «In and Out», and it is true! It’s good to have a local replacement. Anyone having the craving, check it out.

Long burgers, fries and a large Coke are what Diner dreams are made of. If you’re looking for a tasty and relaxing dinner then this is the place for you.

We went through drive thru it took about 12min for our order to be taken, when we finally ordered it took another 15min to get our food when we got home the bread didn’t taste fresh and it wasn’t toasted enough it was a mixture of old stail/soggy bread. I’ve worked fast food so I know when fries are over cooked way over done there’s crunchy than there’s hard fries not good disappointed, and for milkshakes you guys should probably have bigger straws

In & Out Burger doesn’t even compare to this place. Their long burgers are awesome, quick and cheap. This place is old school and hasn’t changed, which is perfect. Please never change.

30 years of happy Dea’s memories gone in one visit. I get it’s a nice little family owned place but the last several months Dea’s has really gone down hill. After not understanding 6 times repeating«with lettuce, tomato and onion» I was forced to get out of the car from the drive-thru and to go inside to order. Fine, then my order will be correct, fat chance. So I approach the counter and say«I’d like a bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and onion» I kid you not, the guy looked me dead in the face and said«what?» I had to repeat every part of my order multiple times. I made the mistake or saying vanilla Dr Pepper instead of vanilla Mr Pibb and the guy froze in his tracks and just stared at me for a minute, after correcting my mistake and asking if I wanted the alternate, I replied yes sorry, I meant vanilla Mr Pibb. The fiasco went on but my thumb is getting tired. :(I can’t even talk about how they changed the buns for the worse. Careful if you use your Groupon, they’ll screw it up and then act like it was your fault. And don’t be surprised if there’s no vanilla in your vanilla Mr Pibb. This was our last visit before moving out of state, now I have crappy memory instead of a good one.

Traditional old school American diner. I can see from other reviewers what not to order, but I can tell you that the Long burger w/cheese and their homemade potato salad is worth ordering. And I am a potato salad snob(I HATEREESERS!!!)They have been making their signature long burger since I was a child. We would go roller skating at the old wooden rink on Powell, then go across the street to the old location for Long burgers. I also had a very good steak, eggs & hash browns breakfast there. The steak was not skimpy and/or tough like most, eggs were perfectly cooked(over med.), and golden crispy hash brown potatoes just the way I like them. I hate the big pile of white, then over browned on top shreds you get from restaurants not using enough oil or butter on the grill. LOL, sorry, foodies like delicious, not healthy. Just use moderation. Now after reading, I want to try the pancakes.

This place is fantastic. It has combined two of my favorite things: country cooking and cheap prices. You can have a massive breakfast here for about $ 7. They also serve lunch and dinner. Most people come here for their original hamburgers, but we are obsessed with their down home breakfast platters.

We stood at the counter with an employee right there, we weren’t sure if we were supposed to order there, no help from anyone. We then sat down for a few minutes and didn’t get waited on. Usually there’s a sign to tell you where to order, whether outer not you would be seated, or if you should seat yourself. We just left. The food may be good, but I really question their service.
