Devin Designs Flowers

Ordered a some flowers for my girlfriend the other day as a surprise and she loved them. She really liked the arrangement they put together. I would definitely order from them again.

I’ve known Darla for a long time– she is one of the most genuinely nice people you will ever meet. And so passionate about what she does. It really comes through in her work and in her professionalism. We recently used her for my father’s wedding and she did an UNBELIEVABLE job. The flowers were gorgeous! Do not think twice about hiring her– you will not be disappointed :)

I would love to give a zero star but I must be somewhat fair because the arrangement was gorgeous although the lack of communication between employee and the delivery person was horrible. When I placed my order I was very specific in where I needed the flowers delivered because it was a huge place and they assured me that this was not going to be a problem. Heres where the problems began. Flowers dropped off without specific info on the delivery card. The people that the flowers were dropped off to had no idea where they were going so they were delivered to the wrong person with my girlfriends last name. Next problem… girlfriend didn’t get flowers on Valentines Day, next problem… We had to hunt down the flowers ourselves and have security and concierge help us look for them. The Major problem was when I contacted Darla Denton I was very specific that there was an issue with the delivery. Instead of helping me find a solution she instead blamed everyone else an came up with a million excuses. Never once took ownership in the situation. Which infuriates me when someone stands by a mission statement but uses them for words instead of actually following through. We were not looking for a refund we just wanted to find our flowers which we did find them on our own with no help from them. She did offer a refund only if I brought the flowers back. But not a full refund, only the cost of the flowers. Who does that??? I told her she could keep the money and she was missing the point and she would probably never get it!!! Keep hiding behind your fake Mission Statement!
We have built an excellent reputation on beautiful flowers. (Yes, they were pretty) and prompt service. Yes, they got there on time but not the right place nor with the right instructions) If we ever fail to meet your expectations, Please, let us know. (you can call and let them know but Darla and her team will come up with a million excuses and then play the blame game) We value you as a customer (we value your money not you) It was our pleasure to give your order our personal attention.(Lies, Lies, and more lies)

I’ve been to many weddings that have used Devin Designs Flowers… and every time I’m blown away by the arrangements. Not only that but they are THE go to for stunning arrangements for special occasions. I have never, in the years and multiple arrangements later, ever been anything but overjoyed with the outcome of the arrangements. I’ve also seen their work around town at restaurants, theaters, and everywhere in between. If there were 6 stars, I would give that. Hands down. Oh, and cherry on top… they’re all super friendly at the shop!

The floral arrangements are some of the most beautiful, innovative designs that have seen from coast to coast. I normally go into a florist and design my own arrangements because I don’t trust the florist. I would NEVER imagine doing that here. It would be impossible for me to come up with something better than what she would create. Darla’s work is dripping with her passion for it. She is not just another florist. She lives and breathes what she does. It is in her blood. I would never use another florist.

I called Devin Designs Tuesday afternoon and had the most beautiful bouquet delivered to my mom the next day. The service was excellent and the flowers were absolutely gorgeous! My mom loves them and was thoroughly surprised. I will definitely use them again and would refer them to anyone who asks!

So happy to have found Devin Designs! Darla was so sweet and accommodating on the phone, and the arrangement she delivered to my dear friend was phenomenal. I’ve already passed their contact info. along to my husband (hint-​hint).

Darla, the owner of Devin Designs Flowers, was one of the first vendors I contacted after I became engaged. I’ve known for years– even before I met my husband– that Devin Designs would be my wedding florist. Darla is the most talented floral artist I’ve ever met. She is the only person I trust with orders for birthdays, mother’s day, funerals, etc…
The flowers were the one detail I didn’t feel worried about at all in the wedding planning. I told her our colors, budget, guest count, etc… but beyond that, I said that I wanted to be surprised and let her work her magic.
A lot of people thought I was crazy for not picking out specific types of flowers, styles, centerpieces, but I trust Darla implicitly. The pictures on her website from previous weddings speak for themselves.
I *knew* Darla’s flowers would be beautiful. I was still in no way prepared for how amazing they were. When I saw my bouquet for the first time, it brought tears to my eyes. I felt the same overwhelming joy when I first walked into our reception. She went above and beyond my wildest dreams– she had taken my inspiration and ideas and magnified them infinitely.
The amount of care and pride she takes in every floral arrangement– from a small boutineer to a magnificent wedding centerpiece– is evident. I feel so blessed every time I look at photos and see her beautiful touches in the wedding. Any bride would be lucky (and wise) to choose Devin Designs for their florist.

It’s been years since I ordered roses so I had a friend telling me all her potential MPs ordered flowers from Devin Designs. I stopped by and asked plenty of questions and just to ensure they delivered to the far off land these flowers were going to. They reassured me that if I ordered early enough I could pretty much set up a specific time to have the roses delivered. I talked to the ladies about how they did their arrangements and left it up to them since they were the professionals.
I was very happy with the entire process and they made all things quite simple. My friend was quite happy with the flowers and the talk of her office. The flowers looked amazing and she said they smelled wonderful. I was pleased with the service all the way around from the initial placing of my order to confirmation of the delivery. I will tell you that sending these flowers did nothing to improve my chances. I will know go on who knows how many more years until I have to order flowers again. In the meantime if you need flowers in the Grapevine area or surrounding burbs these ladies will make you look great.

Devin Designs is an A++++++++ florist! Darla and her team are so great and do everything they can to make sure quality is their number one priority. No matter what budget you are limited to, Darla creates something creative and gorgeous. If you’re looking for a florist who thinks outside the box and creates beauty with that extra touch– not just your typical run of the mill arrangement, I would recommend no other florist but Devin Designs.

Devin Designs came through for us for a Christmas Eve delivery of a beautiful floral arrangement to a family member living in Grapevine. I communicated via email with Darla («Call us. We would love to do this for you!» she said), and voila, a wonderfully beautiful and tasteful holiday arrangement was sent to our relative who LOVED it. We were able to see how it looked via FaceTime. and I wished I had such an arrangement too.
