Through years of being in the stationery industry, we have worked diligently to find the most high-quality, small business, eco/worldly-friendly items for our shop. Most products are made in the US (many in Michigan), and those that are not are free-trade products, helping other countries grow and sustain.

History

Established in 2011.

6.25 Paper was originally a home-based custom wedding invitation business that grew with the opportunity of opening up a shop downtown in the MoDiv Shopping Center. Since opening a brick-n-mortar store, the business has grown out of the MoDiv space into a larger storefront, just next door on Monroe Center. The store continues to serve happy customers with unique gifts and fun, high-quality greetings.

Meet the Business Owner

Abbey F.

Business Owner

I realized my love for stationery after my first visit to NSS (National Stationery Show) in 2008. I was working as Art Director for Stationery Trends magazine and Stationery Today, the NSS Daily, the year they both were founded. We went to the show, and I’ll never forget all the tingles as I walked through the aisles. Everyone was so happy and fun to be around, the industry was a buzz and I fell in love. I soon left the magazine to start my own company focused on custom wedding invitations. In 2011, I opened the retail shop and that’s when things started to truly take off.

When moving a couple years ago, I found a whole box of old cards and stationery that I had literally stolen from my mother when I was in elementary school. I loved those cards and the designs on the stationery so much, that I couldn’t possibly use them or see my mother use them and send them away, so I hid them for myself. I guess this love for paper and stationery has always been a part of me.
