Great location, great prices, and a helpful staff make this place my favorite liquor store to shop at in Golden. The owner especially is knowledgeable and always willing to make honest recommendations. All around great experience every time.

The staff is super helpful and friendly, plus the selection is very good. This is probably my favorite liquor store in the Denver area. I have been very pleased with their recommendations, especially regarding wine. I really hate the location because it’s awkward and frustrating if you need to head back south on Washington, but I put up with it because this place is that good.

This store has an excellent selection of Colorado craft beers. As its located right before HWY-​58, its in a very convenient location if you’re coming into town or heading out. Every time I stop in, there is one particular guy who is right there to help (I’m assuming the owner) and he is indeed helpful in picking out a beer for whatever mood you’re in.
Good selection of wine & most common liquors as well.

This is one of my favorite places to go to pick up beer. It’s conveniently located right before the entrance to 58-​E. The owner is always extremely friendly and helpful. He even remembers my favorite football team! I’m usually extremely indecisive so having someone help me is always a plus. I usually tell him what type of beer I’m in the mood for and he’ll offer great suggestions. I’ve never been disappointed by his selections and I have found some of my favorite beers through him. If you have a specific beer in mind that you don’t see, ask, because they may have it in the back. Like everyone else says, they have a great selection of local beers and they rotate throughout the year so you can always find something new. If you’re lucky you’ll get to pet his dog who’s usually calmly lying down somewhere.

This store has a good selection of Colorado beers. The owner is very friendly and gives the place a fun, hometown feel. He makes a point to get to know his customers and stays on top of ordering a selection based on customer requests. Their wine selection is great, we pick up a Malbec or red blend from here often!
He also has a good selection of liquor and pre-​mixed cocktail drinks if you’re wanting to pick something sweet up for a sunny afternoon in Golden.
It’s the only liquor store we go to in Golden now!

A nice stop on my way home! Love the owner and the dog! They have a nice selection of beverages for reasonable prices and I like that there’s a constant influx of new beers to try. The guy is always willing to chat with me when I’m feeling indecisive and I usually end up going home with a beer I’ve never tried before! He even tried to order the Leinenkugels classic amber for me (I really appreciate the effort!). Unfortunately his distributor doesn’t have it. Maybe next time!

Great selection, great prices (lower than the other stores), great owner, great dog and all within walking distance of my home. I’m so glad I stopped in here because I’ve found my new favorite liquor store in Golden. Please stop in and support this new local business, you’ll be glad you did!
